I have the one plus 8 uw from Verizon. I cannot for the life of me get this device to connect to a 5g network nor my 5ghtz router. Is there something I'm missing. I have changed my plan, reset network settings and even tried safe mode on the device. I'm in a 5g area as another device can connect sitting next to me.
Try going into settings, Mobile hotspot, find wifi 6 standard hotspot an try either enabling or disabling it.

I have a T-Mobile connection. I wanted to enable Wifi Calling since the network service of T Mobile is very poor. How can I do that? I am able to turn on wifi calling by activating the hidden switch, but it doesnt turn ON the feature and while revisiting the setting it again shows OFF.

i am honestly not sure, as i've never tried wifi calling on this phone.
if you dont get it working, i can tell you that if you have tmobile service you can visit tmobile store and ask for a "cellspot". it will use your home internet to produce a usable LTE/cellular signal that acts just like a normal tower. if i remember correctly it was a $25 deposit on the device and that was it.

You, I, and a whole lot of other people have this issue with the Moto-g. There are a bunch of threads around the web about this. I used wifi calling with my old phone (LG Optimus) on T-Mobile / MetroPCS and I loved it, especially when I'm out of the country, but the (hidden) WiFi calling setting on the g3 won't stay enabled, even though MetroPCS says I still have the service enabled. The consensus seems to be that only phones purchased thru them are allowed to use WiFi calling. I haven't been told this by the company myself, but a lot of folks say they have.
For now, I switch back to my old phone every time I leave the country. I get a foreign SIM for my Moto, and I use my old phone for sending and receiving US calls via WiFi.

About a month or so ago, I went on vacation to Asia with my S7. I had it on airplane mode pretty much the whole trip but turned wifi on when available.
Since coming back, my S7 stopped being able to get on to the LTE network. It stays at 4G, which is HSPA speeds on my network. There is discussion about 4G and LTE being the same, but I'm experiencing much slower speeds...5-6Mbps compared to 25-30 when my phone showed LTE.
It's definitely my phone as I put my SIM in another S7 of the same network, and that phone went to LTE. Their SIM in my phone stayed at 4G.
I've tried various APN settings, made sure GSM/HSPA/LTE was selected, reset the network settings, tried some apps that said it would force LTE...but nothing is working.
When the app does force LTE it says I am in Roaming mode. I checked the CSC and it does show my correct network carrier code.
What can I do here?
Have you manually selected and registered with your carrier's network from the network settings?
Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Search Networks
Cleared cache from recovery?
Called your carrier?
Factory reset the phone
I have the TMO version A32 5g phone. 2 days ago I had to switch from 5g/LTE/3g/2g to LTE/3g/2g in order to get data connection in a friend's home.
I came back and switched it back to 5g/LTE/3g/2g and the phone stayed with LTE/3g/2g even after multiple reboot.
This phone ahs been debloated 5 days ago before this switching, maybe I accidentally deleted some apps that allows connection to 5g?
Any tips are appreciated,
EDIT: Solution below,
There are 4 network choices:
5g/lte/3g/2g
LTE/3g/2g
LTE/3g
2g only.
I have to select "2g only" and switch back to "5g/lte/3g/2g" to get back to 5g. Other options did not work.

I can’t figure out how to get my OnePlus 9 phone to use my cellular network (Verizon) when I’m not in WiFi range! I’ve searched in Settings/Wi-Fi & Network and changed several settings but the phone still doesn’t use the cellular towers. What settings do I need to make to get the phone to use the cellular network when that’s all that’s available?

You need to go to Verizon and have them mess with your sim card. I have a global op9 and had some issues when I first bought device and plugged in sim card.
Hey guys,
I have new Google Pixel 7 Pro, I'm living in Montenegro my Gsm Company is One Plus.
Here is my problem:
Mobile data not working correctly, I can't connect any website any service from my gsm internet network.
But If I open Hotspot for other devices, all devices can connect internet and working..
But phone can't connect to internet from sim card.
This is so bull****
What's the problem exactly?
I tried this solutions.
Rooted and I installed Network Signal Guru (I changed some band and other settings) but no luck
I installed VotLE patches
Tried factory reset
Tried wifi and network reset
Tried different sim cards
Also I have "exclamation mark" always on the GSM signal. It always there.
Thanks.
Update: I talked my GSM right now. I created new internet profile for connection on settings now working.. Omg it can't connect automatically.. You need set profile settings..
This questing should be closed. Thanks.
Submit a bug report to Google. It's an easy process. I had similar issue and have submitted bug reports. The more they get, the more likely it'll get fixed.
