How to reinstall stock recovery.img to Oppo R7 plus Spectrum - Oppo R7 Plus

I have a similar problem to others in earlier threads (eg https://forum.xda-developers.com/r7-plus/help-twrp-to-stock-firmware-t3196888). I foolishly installed Spectrum on my Oppo R7 plus using TWRP, and now I cannot access TWRP or any recovery mode on my phone. Fastboot is working, so my bootloader is unlocked. But recovery mode will not load: whatever I try, it either boots into the Spectrum system or hangs.
From earlier threads, I understand that the problem is that Spectrum is for some strange reason incompatible with TWRP. So what I need to do (again from previous threads) is reinstall the stock recovery.img. I have tried doing this through fastboot, using a recovery.img downloaded from an old thread. But when I try to enter recovery mode, the phone hangs with a black screen.
Can someone supply me with a stock recovery.img file, together with some guidance on how I can flash this to my device?

The same here, if anyone has stock recovery.img it would be very appreciated!

Anyone have any luck resolving this?

Hey @KLGordo and @vahid123456 I managed to semi-port someone else's Spectrum TWRP recovery to get my R7sf back to stock. I posted the source information I used here:
R7sf Spectrum Recovery
Finally, after scouring the internet for weeks looking for a way to restore my R7sf to stock having stupidly installed Spectrum without first doing more research. I was able to semi-port a recovery to successfully restore it! WARNING: I’m a...

[Completed] Unable to recognize the recovery mode!

Hi, my name is Apurv
I was looking for a TWRP recovery for my Mediatek MT6580 phone Homtom Ht3.
I came across a boot image which said that it is for only mediatek phones and can be flashed using flashify only.
Sorry since I am new, I can't insert outside links and images.
I followed all the steps given on the site and flashing the boot image was successful.
When I checked whether this new recovery works or not, my phone directly booted to Factory mode
with following options:- Auto Test, Manual Test, Item Test, Test Report, Debug Test, Clear eMMC, Version, Reboot.
I don't recognize this recovery. Is it TWRP? Because I believe it is CWM. And if it is CWM then how can I go to the Recovery mode?
I do have Kernel and Stock backups on flashify, if I install them, is it going to reinstall my original recovery?
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi !
the "boot.img" file you have flashed is not a recovery , it is a kernel
The messages you have seen are most probably related to a recovery , maybe stock recovery
Restore the boot img and stock ( I`m not sure what "stock" is ) if you have saved it and if you`re able to restore it
Good luck !

Help Help! Bricked Oppo R7g

Hi I have an Oppo R7g (not a plus)
I updated to the official spectrum ROM from ColorOS 2.1.0i http(removethis)://community.oppo.com/en/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=45652&extra=
I then wished to root my phone with Magisk root and made the mistake of flashing the v14.0 zip instead of the modified boot.img.
This failed and i was stuck at a black screen. I force rebooted and now I can't get past first splash screen (usually I get a flash screen then boot animation) the splash screen shows and then the phone shuts down.
I can access fastboot but not recovery.
I have tried: http(removethis)://community.oppo.com/en/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=43383 which did not solve anything
I have also tried: http(removethis)://community.oppo.com/en/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=48654 However the Msm8x39DownloadTool exe just says cannot find device even tho it is plugged in and in fastboot mode.
I have tried flashing recovery.img, boot.img clearing userdata etc...Nothing has helped me so far idk what to do now.
Any help is greatly greatly appreciated.
Edit: I suspect that the main issue is caused by upgrading to spectrum - the bootloader must be different. So either I need a way to downgrade the bootloader back to the one from ColorOS OR I need the stock recovery for my R7g from a spectrum ROM. Neither of these things I can do rn. So please if someone could dump a recovery.img from r7g spectrum I would be very grateful.

To go back you will have to format. Search this part of the forum for Qualcomm crash dump and would will find a few threads with instructions, that is how a forum works. Imjustsaying
P.s also by reading slot you will also find out that restoring backups really doesn't work that great for this device yet....
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/tool-msmdownloadtool-v4-0-international-t3798892 you can make the phone work again with this tool. It will reset EVERYTHING, even lock your bootloader, just in case something else got bad I would use it .

Cannot boot after flashing TWRP

I was finally able to unlock my bootloader today after the 72-hour waiting period, but am having a problem getting TWRP flashed. I can flash the stock ROM (perseus_images_8.12.13_20181213.0000.00_9.0_cn_21f4637335.tgz) no problem, get through setup, enabling ADB, etc, but as soon as I flash TWRP, the device stops booting. It flashes successfully, but then attempting a reboot always ends up with the device back at the bootloader. Key combos for other modes doesn't make a difference. I'm working on trying the Global ROM too, just to see how that runs, but I have not been able to get TWRP at all or get the device booted to anything other than fastboot after a TWRP flash (tried official & unofficial versions).
I've seen other posts with a similar issue, but that usually seemed to be about users accidentally ended up in Fastboot & not knowing how to get out of it. That's not the case here.
I've been using Android & custom ROM's for years, so I know my way around ADB, Fastboot, & everything rooting & custom ROM's entail, I just seem to be missing something here.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
EDIT:
Not sure why flashing the Global Dev ROM (perseus_global_images_9.5.17_20190517.0000.00_9.0_global_134d3070e5.tgz) made any difference, but after that, ran through the first run wizard, I was able to flash TWRP from the bootloader & actually boot into it so I could flash a custom ROM.

OnePlus 8T a Complete Brick; help.

Hello! I'm very new to writing on forums so I'm hopefully doing it correctly. But I used to root OnePlus phones back when it was 2, 3 and 4. Things have changed a bit and I lost some knowledge of it. I rooted my OnePlus 8T using Magisk, no TWRP. I used the installation with a patched image on Magisk and my wifi, calling, and Android auto and sound all went out. I tried to revert it by putting the actual boot.img from extracting it using python, after downloading the payload.bin zipfile from OnePlus.com. I flashed it back and it went kaput. I was dumber than ever, and decided to use fastboot to erase the boots and recovery and flashed them back on and it still won't get passed the T-mobile logo. If I boot into recovery, I get the crashdump. Fastboot is fine, I can use that, but I haven't been able to achieve anything using it. I can get into edl, but I keep getting the Sahara communications failed error in the msmdownloadtool. I guess, if someone knows an answer, please help me out. If not, and it's not possible to fix, I just need second opinions to confirm whether it's fixable or not. I'd answer any help from you all. Thanks!
Fix the drivers on your computer and try MSM tool again.
Other than that, if fastboot is fine, try flashing a custom ROM and see if it boots, or you can also try flashing a full OTA of OOS.
This is totally fixable.
The OP in this thread has a suggestion regarding the Shara problem: Thread '[OP8T][OOS KB05AA/BA/DA] Unbrick tool to restore your device to OxygenOS' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4180837/
