Woah that's some rare find you got there i wish i got that ?
Maybe only on India, with different variant name but same look with X3 NFC, just maybe
But um, I want to ask you about EU ROM. Is that good? Have the latest feature like Mi Health, Privacy Settings or something? I want to try it, but it's too early to unlock bootloader for same feature I have before.

1. I think so only on India but 8GB ram release in Indonesia. I'm interesting and buy it.
2. Miui EU is based stock MIUI and mod with little touch from developer added some feature, optimized, fix for some device and less bloatware.
For me always use miui EU for daily use, is better than stock. I have use since Mi6x, poco F1 until this poco X3. Miui Eu is solution if you want stay in MIUI run smoothly and Miui feature still there, like Mi health. Miui Eu also have super wallpaper run smooth for me.
You can relock bootloader if you want, just flash *fastboot firmware with miflash.

Hi My Xiaomi MI4 recently has been showing notification of UPDATE available TO version MIUI 10. Should I update it ?
I've heard it doesn't change nothing at all. and beside it once you update to it, you can't downgrade to previously version.

It may slow down the phone. But it will also give new looks and better features. Also, there is always an option to downgrade if you can use your laptop and spend some time to install any custom rom. (Will also void the guarantee)
It's a good choice to update to MIUI 10.

I've tried the lastest version of MIUI for cancro(MIUI10 8.9.13) for nearly one year. Before Febuary, 2019, I tried the PixelExperience(based on Android 8.1) and its new features & mini size touched me(I can use my face to unlock by Google Smart Lock. And 16GB isn't enough nowadays). But finally I missed the convenient settings and stability of MIUI, and Android 6.0 can still running most of the apps.
Of course, I have deleted some useless system apps(for me) like Mi Video\Mi Game\Mi Browser. In this case, I installed MX Player and Via(also Google Webview Core). To make the ROM better, I also changed the theme(bar, lockscreen), fonts(changed to MiLanPro by an app[because Magisk doesn't work on this ROM]), launcher(with a good icon package) and wallpaper. It doesn't slow down the phone. Just try it!

Hi all,
sorry if this has been asked and answered (I did search first).
My daughter ordered a Oneplus 7 Pro from a European seller but it arrived with Chinese writing on the back.
A quick search of the text "GM1910" reveals it to be a Chinese model (see picture)
So our options are to try for refund or if possible, change the OS.
So my question is, is it possible to change the ROM to European (UK) without unlocking the bootloader or rooting (she uses apps that wont work rooted/unlocked)
Thanks, Steve.
(EDIT...)
Some additional questions...
* What ROM is it likely to have pre-installed?
* Will it have English already?
* Is it likely to be littered with Chinese apps?
Back of box...

I bought a GM1910 and it came with Oxygen OS, not with the Chinese version. Currently it's updated to 10.3.0.
Just open it and power it on.
I think these are sold in HK market so it comes preinstalled with OxygenOS

Hi xander, thanks for the heads up.
You were correct, it did have oxygen (v9.x) so I got the EU rom and did a "local upgrade"
For anyone reading this in future...
1. download the GM21BA EU ROM (V10.0.3 at time of writing)
2. copy it to "internal storage" area of phone
3. in phone, open settings > system > system updates > menu (gear icon) > local upgrade
easy peasy.
Cheers.
As long as the update is the same or higher then what you have on it now. Let's say your on the 10.0.3 gm21ba which is the 1913 then you can download the update gm21aa 10.3.0 for the 1917 and will succeed. I have the 1910 and done this quote a few times. I read the the 1910 is the only one that can be cross flashed but that I have not tested. Flashing didn't really change much in my opinion. Also you won't get any additional lte bands with just by flashing. If you do update and your stock and bootloader is not unlocked then you cannot downgrade unless you do get your bootloader unlocked
I am getting huge cell standby drain, how can I reduce it ?

Poor signal = battery drain, switch to 3G or change your sim carrier.
I have the same problem did you fix it?

It's not this - I think there is an issue with the modem/radio img in more recent official firmwares.
@nzarbayezid @biswatmak @therealkurison @SmexLover
@Ahmed7ara said this here - appears that build's after V12.5.2 seem to have pretty bad drain; I think there is an issue with the modem/radio img in more recent official firmwares.
I confirmed it myself (though I don't have logs; I did everything by the book, clean wipes and installs every dam time):
After having flashed both V12.5.5.0 + Arrow 11, AICP, PixelExperience I then tried V12.5.7.0 + Arrow 11 and got terrible drain no matter what.
I have now reverted to V12.5.2, flashed the latest Arrow 11 over that and bam - 1% drain overnight vs 10-16% - I will keep testing it though and see how it performs over the next few days & discharge cycles.
@Haldi4803 what official firmware did you come from?

Global 12.5.3
You can see my Baseband version here.
If you think that is the issue, wouldn't it be possible to simply flash the radio in Fastboot even on custom ROM?

Danke sehr - yes, I imagine that it would be possible if one knew what to extract from the stock rom.
Mhmmm honestly i don't know which one it is... should be radio.img or modem.img.... but i guess xiaomi does something different.
So easiest thing would be to flash full Firmware ^^

Because it's a rom that was only developed within a few months, it still has many shortcomings and is in the development stage.
The current rom only adds 2 languages: Vietnamese and Turkish. But will be updated to other languages as soon as possible
download link : atom / atompre Bomb / Bombpre
Installation Instructions : install rom via custom recovery like other roms like EU, you need to pay attention to turn off VBmeta authentication in Twrp to avoid bootloop

Hello!
I bought here in Italy at the store the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 pro 5G. Not the Pro+ model, at least the box says so.
I checked recently for getting into modding and, i don't understand. The non-plus model seems like a totally different phone with a MediaTek processor, but I have the Qualcomm model.
I will also send a screenshot from the phone settings.
So... i have "PEUX" or "PISSARRO"? Can I proceed with guides specifying the Pro+ Model?

Above it's the solution, it's pretty simple to know it. Also you have other apps, that can tell you even more specs from your device, like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ytheekshana.deviceinfo&hl=es&gl=US
