I recently got my Poco X3 and I must say this far I am disappointed. I have been flashing roms for years and recently gave up my LG V30 to buy this phone.
My issue is I for one cannot get Volte to work it worked with Metro by t-mobile on my V30 ....Everytime I turn it on the call starts and immediately ends I am using sim 2 because it is the only choice if I want to use an SD card. Is there a way to fix this? I have looked everywhere. The other thing is I have the 64gb storage and a 128gb high class SD CARD I have changed the storage to internal adoptive using Google files it either will say it is working and doesn't or does work but the breaks half the apps in the play store due to no second storage. That is another issue I use to be able to move apps storage from internal to sd but the option is not there at all for any app there is only one internal storage I think there was 2 anyway I really want HD Volte and more storage for apps I have rooted with Magisk flashed Roms which by the way most of them had major issues making me go back to stock either the touch screen would freeze or wifi wouldn't work or always something big.
Please someone I need this to work
I have exactly the same issues with volte. I can't get it to work. Even though my Poco F1 is working absolutely fine with the same Sim card and as card combo. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Hi,
I recently got a new HTC Vox however i am experiencing two particular problems.
1. My Vox does not seem to be recognizing any memory card i have tried. I have till now tried a Hama 4GB micro SDHC and a Sandisk 2GB micro SD card but to no avail.Do you know what the problem may be?
2. The second point is less urgent. When i switch on the phone i get a message informing me that my operator is not found in the database and that i should contact my operator. I am then directed to the connections screen.
If anyone could help m i would be very grateful
Thanks
1.That's strange not for the 4GB SDHC but more for the 2 GB SD. I'm using a 1GB sandisk premiere (or whatever it's called) and it is ok. I also tryaed a common SAndisk 2 GB (the cheapest one) and it worked.
2. DOn't worry about that it only means that your operator (GPRS/MMS settings could not be configured automatically because your operator's settings are not in the database of the phone. Only big carriers are pre configured in that database. If you want GPRS/MMS you should just do what you were used to do before...configure them manually
i see. thanks for that.
I'm beginning to worry that the phone itself is faulty!
if you don't mind me asking, what format did you use for the 2GB?
thanks
I Had the same problem , after my phone was in service for replacing the speakerphone, it did not recognise any memory card. I sent it back , and they replaced the motherboard.

thanks

no problem. FAT32
I have used a 4GB and a 8GB microSDHC card in my Vox without any problem.
If its not working in your phone then definitely its a problem with your device.
I suggest you try any other card(to rule out the remote possibility that your card is faulty), and if that does not help, you should take your device to the service centre.
So I got the HTC Mazaa from Microsoft today and I had a few questions...
1. I understand that this phone was originally going to be able to be used on Sprint, but apparently the ROM has been gimped so that it can't. Has anyone made any progress getting it working on Verizon/Sprint? I have a Pre2 on sprint, and I would like to get this activated on Sprint.
2. If I can't get it running on Sprint, can I just pop in an AT&T sim card and use it normally?
3. It only has 5GB of flash. I know that some of the other HTC wp7 phones the microSD card could be updated, does anyone know if it's possible on this? In addition to developing for it, I wouldn't mind replacing my zune HD at the same time...
1. The HTC Mazaa has a valid ESN from Verizon, but not many people have had sucess with activating it on Verizon.
2. Sure. The phone works on AT&T.
3. Yes. The microSD is in the same spot as it would be in the HTC Trophy.
Does you know how they were able to activate it on Verizon? I'm guessing if it is possible to activate on Verizon, it's not possible on Sprint?
If not, I'll just use it as my work phone and keep my Pre2 for personal use.
Your sure about the micro SD card? I don't want to get a card, take it apart and then have it not be there LOL
Just checked the ESN, it's definitely verizon. Looks like I'll be going the AT&T route then...
went to put a micro sd card in, and its in the same spot as it is on the Trophy. There wasn't anything in there though... I'm guessing it has some kind of flash memory besides the sd?
anyways, I put a 16gb card in there and it doesnt recognize it. It still says 5.8gb or whatever, I've tried doing a reset, but it doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Cliff Simpkins (of Microsoft) indicated on Twitter that there weren't drivers installed on the Mazaafor the microSD slot and that it was non-operational.
One could probably use the driver from the Trophy, but that has yet to be done as far as I know.

Hi all,
I'm currently trying to decide between the Moto G 3G and the LTE Edition. My main problem being that 8GB internal storage seems awfully low especially considering that you have around 5GB free.
Yes there is a sd card slot but mainly effective for media files. You won't be able to move a lot of apps to SD card. And since these days every other app hogs about >500MB data, I'm afraid that 5GB are gone in no time (I. E. All Google Apps can't be moved).
I'd like LTE speeds but not if this means that my internal storage would run low all the time and slow down the system. Can anybody let me know how many of those apps really support apps2sd nowadays?
It might be better to opt for 16GB 3G version, at least I have a larger amount of internal storage to use then...what do you think, is the 8GB plus external storage a problem?

I would recommend the Moto G 4G LTE with 8GB, you can add a huge micro sd card to it, if your root it you will be able to move apps from the 8gb memory to the sd card, an if you're concerend about ROMs or development for the Moto G, I suggest you STAY on the official firmware, Motorola knows what they are doing, the official firmware is the best, only if you want to customize it with themes or so...
Hmm actually I don't want to root because this always means hassle for each update (losing root with an update in example). But in order to move the apps to SD this might be the best solution. So I would stay with the stock ROM but with root...and according to motorola even bigger than 32GB cards do work. Is there any link to an Amazon 64GB card that works for the Moto G?

It seems you already know the answer...
Why you need such amount of space?
Don't wanna move apps, no root,... 16gb is more than enough imo.
Are you using 4G?

You don't need to root to transfer apps to the sd card in the moto G LTE variant

Hello,
Sorry for my poor english below.
I have a Moto 4G (XT1039) with Android 5.1 (patch level 2016-04-01).
I used it with no particular problem for several months with a MicroSD 64GB Samsung Evo. In recent days, the MicroSD is no longer visible on my phone (menus on the SD card in gray and space for this card in "Settings / Storage" has disapeared). Several reboots the phone after removing and re-inserting the card have brought nothing and "Wipe Cache Partition" brought nothing to the problem.
Can you tell me how to explore the problem a little more? FYI, I have a 2nd Moto 4G with the same version of Android and the same SD card that works well. I can maybe share SD cards to identify whether the problem comes from the card or phone but I am afraid to corrupt my 2nd phone or my second SD card.
What do you suggest me?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Gigi
Hi,
No matter if you don't want to corrupt your other card, you have to do some tests.
So, you can test your possibly wrong card in your other phone or with a computer and, depending of results, testing your good card in the possibly defective phone, that's all...

Hi there!
I am currently looking at the HTC U11 for my next phone and was wondering if anybody tried to put 2 SIM cards together with a microSD to expend the storage?
I am using 2 SIMs permanently but still would love to be able to use the SD card to extend/backup the storage.
I know this trick worked on some Dual Sim phones (e.g. Samsung S7), with some cutting/DIY work but would it work on the U11?
Thanks
I have tried this with am old sim card and SD card.
But my advice is, don't do this.
The tray needs to much force to press it in. That's no problem. But to get it out that would be a problem.
As the phone is not easy to get in. It would be a repair job for professionals.
You can buy a small tool in China which is very simple but it looks not so good.

That would leave the SD card hanging outside the phone... hmm...
I guess it's OK, since most people uses a case anyways, so it can be hidden inside the case.
My friend in Vietnam has done successfully without any extra external simcard board, https://forum.xda-developers.com/u11/how-to/modification-simcard-putting-2-simcards-t3762635
