Hi guys, this is my first thread and I hope you can help.
After Downgrade my Mate 30 Pro with EMUI 10.0.0 through LIO-L29 10.0.0.163 (C185) firmware, appears one new screen to activate Huawei ID. Even though I have my correct account and password, I cannot log in, nor can I use the phone now.
It's looks like one new security step from Huawei side. Someone kwows how to bypass the Huawei ID? I checked some video-tutorials but there are no clear tutorials yet on Youtube. Someone knows something about it?

Friend, i was connected through Wifi, i tried wit 4G also.
As far as I know this is a new security error that has appeared in new Huawei models after downgrade, but not all. In youtube there are some chineese tutorials where special software is required to do Bypass. From Huawei Spain (where I bought the mobile) they told me to send the mobile to the SAT. My problem is that I am living in Argentina and the guarantee is valid for only in European Union countries.
Another idea?

Nope. No ideea. I have never heard about this error before.
Any development on this issue?
Should we avoid downgrade from 10.1. to 10.0 or would it be ok to downgrade (apart from having to install GMS again)?

I already have my huawei account password,
I upgraded my phone from the recovery mode, from update mode it will download android 10.1.0..., but not the latest version , after tge reboot of my phone i tried to the password and its worked
i think you must be on android 10.1 to work
Thanks for the reply.
So, if we downgrade from 10.1 to 10.0, will the phone work on 10.0? Or we need to upgrade to 10.1 again?

Welcome
I have a same problem. I did upgrade the EMUI to 12 but still having server error while activating Huawei ID. My ID is correct and I am using correct password still having same issue. Please suggest solution.

I've successfully got a working bootloader code for my M5 and it worked. I am now running generic system image and it is working beautifully.
For the record, I am owning a 10 inch M5 (not pro), 64 GB wifi-only version. Bought from official Huawei online store in China. I don't know if this would work on other versions but it is worth a try.
Note: The unlock service from Huawei will terminate on 23 July. It is highly recommended to get a bootloader code if you plan to use custom rom in the future.
Edit: Seems that images are missing. Here is the imgur album link: imgur.com/a/FaaGNkL
I'll try to fix the images. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Requirements for getting the code
A Huawei M5 tablet of cause. 3G or wifi version
A desktop computer
The tablet must login into Huawei cloud for at least 2 weeks
The final requirement is not listed in English version. I am not sure if that need to be fulfilled in English version or not.
Link to unlock form: emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/index
(Sorry but XDA disallow me to post outside link. I would update this post once I got the permission)
================
1. Go to the link and login with the same account on your tablet
2. Accept the terms
3. Select "Since EMUI 5.0"
4. The "smartphone" cannot be changed. It is by design (or a bug)
For 3G version owners, follow the instruction and fill in the form. I am not owning 3G version and therefore I could not proof if the form is working or not.
================
For Wifi version, the process would be quite tricky.
Seems that Huawei did not plan to make a new wifi-only tablet when designing this unlock web page. We could not skip IMEI field in this form.
...Unless we do some tricks.
This tutorial uses Firefox browser. Chrome does not have resend request feature which is required for our purpose.
Enter the following sequence in offical calculator App
Code:
()()1357946()()
The displayed window should give you all information needed except the IMEI.
It is time for some tricks. Press F12 on your keyboard to bring up developer tools and navigate to Network panel.

}
Enter some random number in IMEI field and submit the form. The submission should fail (no surprise) with reason "SN and IMEI are mismatched." and a request entry would be logged in the developer tools.
Inspect the request to check route and click Edit and Resend Button.
Edit the Request body:
Change needimei from 1 to 0
Remove imei field (Remove imei=......&), rember to remove & symbol or the request would be invalid
Update veri to new verification code in the window
The reuslt sould request body should look like this
Code:
before5=0&sn=YOUR_SERIAL_NUMBER&checkCode=SOME_NUMBER&veri=VERIFICATION_CODE&needimei=0&_form_key=c934efde48a3
Click send and a new check request should show up in the developer tools panel. Inspect it and check the Response tab.
The blacken part is the bootloader unlock code for your device.

I used this code for unlocking my device and it workes.
Hope this guide helps!

I can't get this to work. I keep trying the method above, but it always says SN and IMEI are mismatched. Could it be because I've only had the tablet for a couple of days?
I unlocked my tablet immediately after unboxing and it worked.

Sorry for the late reply. I did not receive notification from XDA
I don't own an US version. But I don't think there will be much of the difference in terms of bootloader locking and unlocking strategy.
The tablet should be locked by default and you have to unlock it before rooting.
Thanks for the reply, I got it unlocked, now I'm trying to root.

The response I get is "imei_notbound_account"
I called US support and they referred me to China support because I have the SHT-W09 C432 variant (I thought this was European). I emailed that support line and hope to get some direction back on how to unlock the bootloader. Everything I've done online so far via their webpage and this tutorial does not work. Anyone have any ideas?

How do you log into the huawei cloud. I'm on the Mediapad M5 and I can seem to find where to log into the huawei cloud.
Huawei has stopped their unlock codes for the bootloader, my question is, is there a way to get the unlock code through extracting the update.app file and seeing what code it would accept? It's hard to explain what I'm thinking.
The code used to be generated by a combination of the imei number and the build number. The imei number is unique to each motherboard so going with that either the motherboard or update.app files must be programmed to accept the code generated or have the code in it in order to check and accept the unlock code.
So if the code is already programmed into the phone would their be a way to extract the bootloader code from system files etc. Or see if the code is there.
Thanks

well I guess the last resort will be a paid service to get the phone p & running again, thanks for the link, I'll look into it.
BTW as per thread title, so DC unlocker generates the code coming from the phone itself to unlock it or it uses a different method?

Hello everyone!
I have a my Realme GT Neo 2 with a Widevine L3 out of the box. I recently managed to get the apk to write the Widevine certification to L1 officially from Realme. Now I have Widevine L1 for my device and I can watch Netflix in full HD. Yahooooo!
I've been in contact with them 2 weeks ago and just got email from them today with the apk. I will tell you how to get that for your device. Bear in mind that this process require patients and on technical side, require your own imei number. On top of that, you need to unlocked your bootloader for greater success chance writing the certification key. Here you go:
1. Write an email to [email protected]. Please state the subject to Realme GT Neo 2 Widevine Level. Tell them you need to fix your widevine level back to L1 as currently you have L3 certification (Please elaborate more)
2. You will be responded with this email from them:

Reply them and make sure everything is correct.
3. Now the waiting game will begin. I suggest you to keep pushing them with the reply. Unless you want to wait for a month for them to fix. JK! Here is their reply after a week getting in touch with them.
4. After one more week, which is today, I got their reply given with the apk. I installed it and everything is good!
That's it. Patience is the key but you need to at least ask for their reply or update once. FYI, if you have try googlin and found the apk somewhere and try to write the certification, it will always fail as it does not match the imei number of your phone thus I won't bother sharing mine here. Good luck and all the best!
*THIS POST IS NO LONGER VALID. APK FILE IS REMOVED*
Hi guys!
Due to a request, I am sharing the apk file that I got here. You can try install and execute it. Let me know if it works for you and hopefully it does. A quick like would make my day. Good luck!
I have installed the software from realme's path. but it still doesn't work
try restarting your phone first and clear the data and cache of the apps and try again.

Sorry to hear that. As far as my understanding, you cannot change your widevine by changing rom region because it is actually a "key" that are written to your device to change the level. My advice is not to contact them through chat. Their support really BS. When you email them, try as simple as you can be so that they will understand. Or you can say directly to them that you wanted to fix your widevine level to l1 because right now you have l3.

Either you use Mi Flash (recommended) or a recovery rom with TWRP in both cases you will have to use Fastboot mode and unlock the bootloader before.

168 hours it's for everyone and if you try again with another method you risk seeing the time increase.

For security.
You cannot upgrade since you have the latest version.
Hi I've recently flashed Indonesia ROM, it has MIUI dialer but the call recording option is missing. Is there any solution to unlock it?
I cant install Xiaomi.eu I need locked bootloader after all.
Greetings
// SOLUTION
com.android.updater <--- block in any way that will be comfortable for you, it won't disable recording

Yeah, but I need bank app which is not passing check because of unlocked bootloader and AFAIK you can't lock it on Xiaomi.eu. It's a shame
I did a fastboot full procedure.

Bank app pass,undetectable unlock.
And it's strange that the call recorder does not work, have you activated it?

It's an app for taking payments with NFC - eTerminal. I think it has better security.
There is no option for activating it, tried every Taiwan and Indonesian rom.
Looks like it's a problem with Xiaomi 12 :/
Taiwan / Indonesian ROM support call recording?
Hello to all, I flashed on my Xiaomi 12 the Taiwan rom v13.0.3.0 "cupid_tw_global_images_V13.0.3.0.SLCTWXM_20220415.0000.00_12.0_global" but after spending almost a day to setup and parameterize the phone, I noticed the call recording is missing. The reason I changed ROM is call recording. Does...

I use a Xiaomi eu rom on my 12 pro with my 3 d secure banking app + fingerprint with another Nfc payment app as well as other apps that detect root or unlocking without any problem.
normally open the dialer / settings / call recording but maybe Xiaomi deleted it.

Yes it looks like they've deleted it in Xiaomi 12 series as it is not appearing at all.
WTF I've flashed Indonesia ROM one more time and recording is available but only BEFORE I connect phone to the internet! Looks like location checking

Not sure if this is the cause since you have to login to activate the account at startup.

Yes it is. I've checked many times. You don't have to login immediately. Just pull out sim tray and don't connect to wifi. Voila

Since my phone was brand new I've never attached Mi Account. I think it's quite possible to unattach Mi account before factory reset, and Google account too because it will ask about previous account.
