[Mod] [Lollipop only] Enable call recorde + turn off camera shutter

So I've been looking around for mods and found this one
All you have to do is flashing the zip with a custom recovery and you're done

Yeah but using xposed isn't recommend especially wanam on lollipop when i use it and turn the power saving mod on the device reboots

Actually, i have one more question about this mod: does it records the phone calls from the line or from the mic?
I know that phone recording from the line is of much higher quality and works also if you use a bluethooth or wired headset. The phone recording from the mic only works if you use the phone without any headset and it is of lower quality (e.g. the voice of the other person you are talking to is weaker).

Yes. Direct flash in recovery . Root access required.

It installed fine. Thanks. But on the other hand I hear cracking sound when I enable it, goes away after disabling. Have you experienced same or all smooth sailing?

This is on Lineage 14 9/11 build. Directly from speakers, no Bluetooth.

I have tested it in all builds of lineage and all custom roms. No issues in crackling or skipping audio in Direct speakers.
It is been reported that only in Bluetooth audio crackling or skipping happening. That is also due to Lineage 09/11 Build has used open source Bluetooth lib file. because in other roms that issue is not there.
Try Dirty Flash bro. Direct Speakers No issue. Blue tooth Speaker , Yes u have an issue with Lineage 09/11 and 09/08 , RROS also.

Thanks man. Is it possible to post pictures of your Viper configuration? There are some settings in viper where crackling goes away but audio quality is a shade down. Maybe I will try to mirror your settings.

FIX: Crackling static noise in headphones on Custom ROMs (Mido)

Listening to music on my Redmi Note 4 (mido), I noticed a loud crackling static noise when I use my headphones on Lineage and related ROMs like Pixel Experience. It's especially noticeable when a song starts to play. I didn't get this on MIUI.
so I decided to extract the MIUI mixer files (files that manage the audio), and the noises were solved in Custom Roms

- Copy all .xml files to /vendor/etc and reboot
*Improvements in music quality (removing noise in Custom ROMs)
*Better call quality
*These files are from Redmi Note 4 (Mido)

I'm going to test this out because I noticed the cracking and bad sound quality over Bluetooth in Android Pie. But I would recommend creating a Magisk module for this so it can both installed and Uninstaller easily and so many others can test it. There is a Magisk tutorial that can help you create the module if you want to do it.

This sound mod didn't work for me, maybe because I'm on Android Pie.

Mine is G935F too and although havoc is good but the battery sucks idk why, try crdroid rom which is getting me good battery backup.

i followed the instructions but when i rebooted and tried playing a vid there was no sound. can someone help?

What ROM are you using? Maybe the main mixer paths files have another name and you only need to rename it.
This is only for Stock Android ROMS (AOSP)
Please take a screenshot on your ETC folder in the mixer_paths part and upload it so i can see it.

The answer is "i dont know". I did not test, but i think it will not work because the file is from 9.0 system and 10.0 is quite different, you can test it but im sure you will get bugs in some other functions (if it works). Or maybe not. Please test and report if you can.

The mod is nice, but when you plug in the headset, there is a sound from the handset.

This is the original mixer file for violet, if u guys want to remove the dual speaker mod.

Tryed on havoc os audio engine failed to load in poweramp. Also other player don't make sound like YouTube or Spotify.

i m sorry to hear that. im on PixelPlusUi, i didnt know it will cause prob in havoc. it should be the same for all aosp 10 violet. have u paste the original mixer file back? it will be fine again

Not working for me on latest build of pixel experience plus rom tried to flash it 2 times but not happening for me and even after flashing this it's not showing in magisk

Both methods did not work for me. The mixer_paths_idp.xml file was indeed replaced by this one, but no difference. On Derpfest 0602 build.

yes, sometimes it doesnt working and also will not showing the module in magisk. i recommend the manual method more than flashing the module.
check this uploaded image, u need to have 96.10kb mixer_paths_idp.xml file in the file manager to make the dual speaker working

checked it, its the same original file like mine. so the dual speaker file should be working. did u check mixer file size after rebooted? the mixer file should be 96.10kb in your root/system/vendor/etc/mixer_paths_idp.xml.

It did not work with magisk. Replacing manually was successful. Sadly, no audio seems to be coming out of the earpiece still. Thank you for responsing tho

Use viperforfx best working on all roms with miui 12 as well as android 10. U can enjoy good quality sound in both speaker as well as earphone.

For everyone, please be aware that there are 2 similar paths at least in my android 10 aosp... The one working for me is root>vendor>etc
Since there is another path root>system>vendor>etc

already put 90 for earpiece volume, max is 95. i dont want to take risk. u can try change the value to 95 if u want.
instruction
1. open the mixer file with code editor/text editor
2. use 'Find..' and type in 'earpiece'
3. change the value from 90 to 95
4. save it, reboot.
