A.R.I.S.E. Sound Systems

Hello, everybody!
I am wondering is anybody using A.R.I.S.E. Sound Systems sound mods?
I am currently running arter97's custom CM13 ROM and I would like to know is any body using this sound mod with this ROM?

I'm using Leviticus 1.3 and it works fine on my OP3...i normally flashed through recovery but before i frozen MusicFX from System Apps and switched SELinux to "Permissive"

I'm using it since i was using it on my oneplus one before

Flashing Viper4Android/ARISE while on Oxygen OS breaks casting. Do others have the same problem? Casting works fine if I flash on CM-based ROMs.

There is a special version for the OP3, but it's outdated (exodus)
Also, there are some issues in there with Atmos
Lev 1.3 is okay, what I am using now.
Waiting for a stable numbers.

I use A.R.I.S.E. with Arter97's 8/25 CM13 rom and 8/25 kernel and have had no issues as of yet. I've only been using it less than a day though. I have been running A.R.I.S.E. on almost all of the Arter97 builds though, and haven't had issues.

When you talk about casting you mean Bluetooth media streaming? I'm on OOS 3.2.4 and i have installed v4a and ot brokes my Bluetooth streaming. Headphones, speaker and Bluetooth (when I'm using mirror screen), works good ON v4a. But when i connect my Bluetooth headset the driver switch to abnormal state. Previously worked fine.

Yes, casting of anything didn't work anymore. Such as playing music over bluetooth in my car, and using chromecast on my tv. Somehow with FreedomOS you can install V4A with Atmos in aroma installer and casting still works. It's all magic to me.....

Well in my case is only Bluetooth. A I've tried a screen mirror to my tv and the sound is processed in v4a. Only Bluetooth here.

So you dont recommend flashing it nor v4A over oxygen os dont you? But leviticus doews work..?

I am using arter97's CM13, his kernel and Numbers 1.8. Everything works fine.

I had to flash number 1.8 first then restart the phone and again go back to recovery to flash atmos gui add-ons numbers.zip for dolby atmos to work because when i flash both the zip at once dolby atmos force closes

Does your mic works when using Skype.. I am on rr and mic doesn't work.. Reported to main thread also but they didn't found the issue.

Hey guys someone in the 6p thread managed to make ARISE work system wide on Nougat:

I tried to look into this but the file doesn't seem to exist (maybe a Nougat thing), and the related files don't really have the same structure.
Since I don't have a lot of C / Java knowledge, any dev can look into this? This can maybe interest you @abhi08638.
I'll keep a lookout but can't say anything for sure... If anyone is on Nougat, can he supply the said file if it exists? Thanks.

Anyone knows how to fix the issue on bluetooth device streaming on stock oos after flashing arise?

Headphone Jack Not Working

I am using fiui custom rom on my htc explorer... But now the headset jack is not working.. All the headphones used to work previously.. But now no headphone is being recognized.. Help quickly.

Post this issue in the FIUI page so that the OP of this rom will help you.
(hint: Make sure head phones are working in different rom of your device)

Everything else is working fine..
And previously i used aokp rom for pico..the earphones worked with this rom..

Use a app which test hardware like below or similar to this

if it doesn't seems to work , go back to your previous rom and check whether Head phones are working.
This is to cross verify whether problem with your jack or rom.

Headphones Fix
Here's the way to fix the headphone issue with this ROM.
1-Install SoundAbout app from playstore
2-Switch on the service
3-Choose media audio and choose wired headphone when u use headphone
4-That's it.

What are they doing?
After installation, fix the bugs that prevent us from fully using Android Oreo 8 and 8.1:
- Fix adjustment of volume during a call
- Fix use bluetooth headset when making a call
The patch for 8.0 is tested on the Nitrogen OS and AEX 8.0 ROM, the fixes the above mentioned bugs.
The patch for 8.1 is tested on the firmware Pixel Experiance, ValidusOS ROM, the fixes the above mentioned bugs.

GCam mod working on oreo 8.0 but not working on oreo 8.1!!

Yea, I'm also facing this issue while singing songs on headphone, or any call came and i rejected or received then headphones one side only working, or after tht on speaker its making disturbing sounds when notification coming. (I haven't installed any sound mod.)

wait for the patch or switch to aosp based rom.i also rolled back to aosp extended 8.0.0 oreo everything is working fine now

FIX: Crackling static noise in headphones on Custom ROMs (Mido)

Listening to music on my Redmi Note 4 (mido), I noticed a loud crackling static noise when I use my headphones on Lineage and related ROMs like Pixel Experience. It's especially noticeable when a song starts to play. I didn't get this on MIUI.
so I decided to extract the MIUI mixer files (files that manage the audio), and the noises were solved in Custom Roms
DOWNLOAD: bit.ly/2OAlXDN
- Copy all .xml files to /vendor/etc and reboot
*Improvements in music quality (removing noise in Custom ROMs)
*Better call quality
*These files are from Redmi Note 4 (Mido)

I'm going to test this out because I noticed the cracking and bad sound quality over Bluetooth in Android Pie. But I would recommend creating a Magisk module for this so it can both installed and Uninstaller easily and so many others can test it. There is a Magisk tutorial that can help you create the module if you want to do it.

This sound mod didn't work for me, maybe because I'm on Android Pie.

i will test it when i root my phone i am trying to learn it first so i will not brick it

It worked! the phone vibrates alot with mono audio on though near the second speaker is there a way to lower this so I don't blow the speakers at some point?

It’s optimized,so that the speakers don't blow out.

Not working on A20e with LOS 17.1 and stock kernel. Do I have to flash a permissive kernel?

Nice !! I fix a bug with the sound, hardly anything was heard even at high volume after installing Kernel Eureka r5 on A20.
Now I can hear games, music and videos clearly as before.

hi i flashed your zip and now phone keep starting in download mode i tried delete both files fron vendor/etc mixer gain and paths but no luck i replace it with backed up old one no luck i tried another mode files still no luck is there any other file needs changing for this?
