Hi all, i was wondering if anyone knows how to safely remove the camera covering glass without taking off the ceramic back. Had the phone in my pocket while go karting and now have like a surface graze.

Here's the jist of it, I ended up shattering the camera lens cover on my HTC Sensation. Now the pictures look just fine when I take a picture but I see this becoming a problem in the future....is there anyway to replace this lens cover or am I totally screwed?
On my note 2 I returned s cover because of how annoying it was to take pictures since you had to hold the cover half open to do so. I'm wondering since the case has the opening now if the camera lens peaks through it or not?
Sure can, shows that off here:

Was wondering this myself. Check out around 2:10 of this video

Tested it- works.. but not the best option
I have finally got both the phone and cover today. So once i found this topic straight away tried to take a picture.
Here is my opinion: Yes, it can be done! .. but the downsides are:
1. smudges on s-cover glass
2. dust on s-cover glass
3. if photos are taken against sunlight s-covers glass shines and reduces the quality of the photo
All together i wouldn`t recommend to use camera with s-cover flipped to the back
Thanks for the info.
According to the video there is no magnet on the cover.
I thought there is a magnet.
Can anyone confirm?
If it's true then wake up on opening should work on any cover like my Note 2.
Would love if it's officially from samsung not a third party app.
Has anybody tried cutting out the front portion of these flip covers? How did it turn out for you? And please show us pictures. Thanks!
For some reason everytime i take a pic on my nexus 5 it looks like pieces of glass on the picture. The lens cover is not cracked and has no scratches so i am trying to figure out the problem. Is there anything i can buy to fix the problem? I have posted a pic for your convenience. please help
Maybe the lens itself has something on it. If so, can't be fixed without dismantling the device.

looks like something shattered on the inside. beside for the glass in the photos, does the picture quality look normal? did you buy the phone this way?
Hello.
Does anyone know if the you can see notification light when the case is closed?
I know that in the s-view cover you can't see the LED, but is it possible in this new cover?
Thank you a lot.
Yes it shows. The whole front is transparent exept a little part!
