I unlocked the bootloader and installed miui 12.0.3 and magisk.
First problem I've had was with waze, that couldn't download voices and map. Then I saw that every app has no used storage. It's like they don't have permissions to access the data folder.
Anyone else with this problem?

Hi Guys
I have installed a app given to me by a software vendor to install onto our Windows 6.0 and 6.5 and when i install it through memory card I can do it. Once installation is done I notice the app takes control over the device and I am no longer able to access anything else apart from that particular app.
I cant go to Market, Internet or Memory card in File Explorer. This happens once the application is installed to the device, if put back to factory settings then the device is back to normal. Any ideas and suggestions?
Thanks
Hi,
I have a Huawei G6 from China. I unlocked the bootloader, rooted it with vroot and installed SuperSU.
I can install GoogePlayStore and all kind of different apps from it. And they work mostly fine. But for some reason some apps show issues:
- I can't take a picture. It says "Storage full, install SD card". Although phone memory is still around 1 GB left.
- I can't open files from Dropbox. "Not enough memory, or storage full"
- ES File Explorer doesn't show local SD card
- Some apps, like Waze just won't run "Waze can't access your SD card. Make sure it isn't mounted". That one totally confuses me.
What's missing? How can I fix this?
If wrong sub-forum pls move this post accordingly.
Thanks
Andy

I had the same problem.
Just unroot with SuperSU and your problem is solved.

Excellent! That worked.
Do you then use anything else as substitute? Is it actually required?

Ok I resolved as described in this thread, in this way obviously the phone became unrooted. I really don't know how the problems described can be caused by rooting it, how is it possible ?
Does the problem described depends on which method used to root the phone ? I used the towel application (last version) , is there any root method for G6 that doesn't lead to this issue ?
I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P3110 (7.0") and I installed the cyanogenmod version 10.1.3-p3110 with the 3.0.31-CM-gac1803e kernel. Since today I am unable to install some apps. The app manager tells me I used up 2.6GB of the internal storage and Ive got 2.0GB free.
When I try to install the YouTube app or the Root Browser app the play store puts out an error telling: Insufficient storage available. However when I try to install the ShopSavvy Barcode Scanner app all goes fine. Also installing apps by putting apk's in my download folder via laptop seems to work fine.
Before this problem occured I fiddled around with the format tool AParted for my external sd, and the link2sd app. I deleted both of them, but the problem is still occuring.
Any help on this issue?
Here a catlog screen of the errors occurring when i install root browser. Similar error on youtube install.
I used "TWRP Manager " Apply SD CARD Patch, and now it locked my USB storage write permissions. My apps cannot store anything now. Also I cannot paste any files to my phone from PC.
I even "Reverted the patch" from TWRP manager settings, but its not fixed. I have already did a factory reset.
Kindly help me.

Im using Nexus 5 (5.0.1)
i flashed 5.0 again and flashed 5.0.1 now. all working fine. permissions are all good now.
I am using Android one device running stock marshmallow, which brings in new feature to use ur external storage as phone storage.
After installing mxplayer, it gets installed directly on sdcard but when i reboot my device, the app disappears as if it was never installed.
NOTE : This is happening on apps that get directly installed on sdcard. Suppose an app gets installed on internal storage first and then i move it to sdcard, it will remain in sdcard forever (unless i manually uninstall it).

It's not MX Player's fault.
If you install anything on external memory it's getting removed on reboot. So, Kindly install MXPlayer to Internal Memory.
Looks like there is a bug in Marshmallow update of android one devices. There is no issue in nexus devices since it doesn't come up with sdcard slot.

The issue is not there in all devices.
The issue is a bug from your rom. Not from the apps.
Only way is to force the app to install only in internal storage. But, it will affect the all users who has limted space & wants to move the app to sd.
So, it's better to move the apps yourself.

Hi, I am having the same issues with apps intalled on my Internal Memory.
I have just upgraded my LG G3 D855 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Some apps (like Outlook, Google Maps, Google Translate) disappear when I reboot the phone.

It's better to ask on device specific forums rather than here since it's not a MX Ppayer Bug. Chances of getting a solution here is very less for a device issue.
curiously only mx player disappear but I see that someone said this is not a mx player fault... yoooohooooooo
