Hi Guys and Girls,
As the title suggests. I thought I had a good thing going with this phone CPH2025.
Turns out....perhaps not.
Everything a part from 1 thing is okay. Display is pin sharp, performance is top notch, battery life is good etc etc
However, when I connect my PS4 controller to my phone - the amount of input lag is absolutely ridiculous! I have tried everything to get it right but with no joy. Before anyone says "it's the controller" I connected the same controller to my OnePlus 7 Pro, S20 Ultra and my brief time with the Note 20 Ultra and I never had any problems with input lag.
I think either the Bluetooth modem in the phone is knackered or faulty at least.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Regards,
Speedy!

I don't think it's a Bluetooth issue. Some devices don't have the full libs to support some controllers so maybe there's a compatibility issue on the Oppo.
My OPPO is in the mail and I'm not sure if we are able to root it. But if you have magisk, there's a controller module to add support for all controllers. You could try that.

For a high end device like the Oppo Find X2 Pro, which costs well over £1,000, I should hope it's compatible!
Just because console gaming has only recently been allowed in China, it's always been allowed in Europe and it's dumb of Oppo to ignore this (if they have indeed left out the libs)
I'm not rooted because, again, Oppo have been dumb and restricted it on "carrier customized" devices.
Oppo are beginning to show their true colours...

I tried my ps4 controller with Fortnite Mobile and with ps4 Remote Play (played street fighter V). I didn't notice input lag, but I'm a casual gamer. Fortnite did seem to drop a few frames now and then, maybe because of the Bluetooth connection...

To be fair, I do own the first gen PS4 controller. I might buy a newer controller and see if I have better luck with that.

Did a little bit of digging for you.
This is the only thing I found on the S3 and WiDi (aka. be compatible with the device you listed above)
http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii/189506-anyone-try-sgs-iii-w-widi-wi-fi-display-adapter.html
To be honest, the thread was pretty messy, but overall definitely has some interesting information
I'm thinking it should work. I saw another thread where someone said it worked with their note 2

Personally I run a:
http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-HDMI-3FHU-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B0080CXSOU
to connect to my home theater. Not sure how well the wireless video/audio would turn out.
In my experience streaming anything over the air turns out poorly.
I guess the wireless nature of it all could be convenient though

I'm not sure if a thread has been opened for this but the Moga Pro Controller is the best thing I've used for an all around android controller.
Can even fit the note 2 for mounting example with a phone.
Comes with Stand for tablets.
Connects using Bluetooth.
Multi device support
Internal battery with over 10 hour battery life (will have to double check but its a lot)
MOGA APP
DONATIONS ACCEPTED. THIS DOES TAKE TIME OUT OF MY DAY. A FEW DOLLARS TO BUY MY LITTLE KID A TOY OR TAKE OUT IS GREATLY APRECIATED

What sorcery is this? I thought you could only have one bluetooth device connected at a time.
Oh well. I'm still happy with the gameklip.
The Moga app and in game support for many apps sets the Moga apart. Developers for new android games are incorporating the controller in there apps. No game clip or any other gamepad has had this versatility. Not to mention the new Samsung controller is suppose to come out but looks far to bulky.
Video to come shortly....
Stay tuned

Connection issues?
Is anyone else having connection issues with they're Moga Pro?
I just purchased one yesterday and I love it but I'm having some trouble with it and not sure if it's my rom/kernel or what... I'm running ARHD 9.3 and the ElementalX 0.11 kernel. The issues I'm having is that when playing games in Mode A the controller sometimes looses bluetooth connecting and won't reconnect until I exit the game and go back to the Moga app. I also had trouble setting it up to work with Mode A and Mode B. Using the Moga app to setup the controller I choose "Setup Mode A and Mode B" which had me sync Mode B first which worked fine but then when it got to syncing Mode A it just couldn't do it. So I cleared everything and tried just setting up Mode A in the Moga app and that worked fine. It just would not do both at the same time so right now I only had Mode A setup and when I want to use Mode B for emulators and stuff I have to unsync Mode A and then manually setup Mode B through the Android Bluetooth Connection settings which works fine.
BTW I'm using the new HTC One... I just noticed this thread was under the Samsung section. I was linked here from a post in the HTC One section.

Moga Pro by far. It has mode A and B. One for Play Store Games and one for Emulators. The Pocket only has one mode. The Pro also feels better.

I had the HTC One but I did not have a chance to test the Moga Controller on it. It may be the phone and Moga needs an update. If you have a custom Rom and Kernel it is highly likely that could be causing your issue. Do a Backup of your ROM and try Stock to test and see.
Glad I got rid of the HTC One I had because there was a dead pixel and I even still can not find the stock HTC One Rom

So you guessed it right from the title, my Xperia L doesn't have network connectivity or a very weak one thanks to an idiot local mechanic who f*cked it up trying to fix lose USB port. Now I am not even getting deals for this phone as no other mechanic is able to fix this thing.
So I want to know some good uses I can make out of this phone other than my kernel development!
Using it to play songs through AUX cable is one use I found but would like to know what you guys think.
eBay. Or download the manual for it and fix it.

I think you went to a Butcher rather than a mechanic!
Anyway, it's a long shot, but have you tried dismantling the phone yourself? what may have happened is that the antenna might have come loose i.e the contact to the cable or the cable itself. if you can stablise it or repair the contact, it may give you full connectivity again!
Hello all,
I have had my tablet now for a week and love it, but I need a controller and the shield controller is still to far out. So what controller are you using and which controller should I look at. Also would a blue tooth keyboard mouse work with game like half 2?
I have been looking into the Moga Pro, think I'm gonna go get one after work today and give it a try.
I've been using the Amazon Fire TV controller and it works great. Tried it on a lark and it worked without a hitch. All buttons and toggles work great including the dpad. Haven't tried the audio buttons or the button to access the web but all the relevant game buttons and triggers work flawlessly. Easy setup too. Turn on Bluetooth, sync controller. Done.
Alright thanks for the help I'll look at both those controllers and Dcaplinger if you end up getting the moga pro let me know how it works out.
Before I had the Shield controller I used the iControlpad and the Steelseries FREE controller. Both have nice dpads and the button presses feel like 1st party pretty much. Unfortunately they do not have L2/R2 buttons so when I needed them I used a PS3 controller.
I'm currently using the Moga Pro controller and it's working well for me. I haven't ran into any problems yet. The cheapest one I heard that works so far is the Gamestop one for like $15.
I haven't tried console mode yet since I haven't bought the HDMI cable, but if you're planning to using console mode then the NVIDIA control might be the way to go as it has the touch keys. I read other users say it's quite a pain with regular bluetooth controls. (Only from what I read, so take that into account).
Im yet to find anything that works better then a ps3 controller.

I'd say just definitely go with the Shield controller, I have the Moga Pro which I had bought for my Tegra Note which has now been replaced by the Shield Tablet, I really didn't like the Moga Pro at all, pain to setup, didn't like how it felt, it felt cheap, and it just sits there collecting dust now. I got my Shield controller last Monday though and totally love it, I love it so much in fact that I really hope someone comes up with a way to use it as a PC controller since it really is such a great controller and definitely worth the premium price over the Moga Pro.

Seeing any of the power drain issues with MM? Official nvidia forums threads on this make me pretty nervous about upgrading
Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
I have a rooted K1 upgraded to MM 6.0. And have no power drain, its not better than before, but not a power drain.
Things that dont work for me: trackpad-touch on the controller
But the previous version had a problem: The volume rockers behaved like a pinball game in the ui. that is working fine for me now
Thinking track pad touch fix should be an easy fix for nvidia. Hoping 'miscellaneous' process or whatever is killing battery will be too. I really want to put my 200GB Sandisk microsd in and use it as 'internal' storage...hoping that is as nice of an experience as it sounds!
Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Mm on Nvidia shield tablet is garbage, performance stability is atrocious and battery is not near optimization. I updated it officially from 5.1.1 through ota and went back to 5.1.1 within 1day. The problem is serious and there are enough complaints on the Nvidia community regarding mm update.
I mean the way mm is designed is totally different then other android versions, that is the reason why a big name such as Samsung has decided for beta testing mm on its smartphones before its official update to customers.
