Hi guys, i need experts suggests,
i'm not a really involved doing rom flashes in smartphones,
but i'm trying to recycle a xiaomi mi9 t and i cannot purchase a new screen..
the phone is in a factory reset state unrooted, and i can view thru ADB and scrcpy but without the control of a keyboard or mouse because this need other permissions inside the developer options and due to the broken screen i cannot access.. i really like to change os because the miui ask me for more settings to login with an account,, generally i prefer more free rom.. but my doubt is about recovery mode and fastboot, if i try some of this process i'm able to do something without viewing a screen?.. that's simply question.. and remember i havn't touch ..and i don't know how is the screen in recovery or fastboot...
i'm in a totally dark room...
thank you

You're stuck in Bootloader
Hi
Your phone is stuck in Bootloader Mode. You may find that by removing the battery and re-inserting it you will get to a position of loading Windows Mobile. The Bootloader is the software on the phone that is used to install a new operating system. If you search for "Stuck" and "Bootloader" on the forum or the section of your device you will probably come up with some threads about this problem.
The worst case scenario is that the "flash" of the new operating system has gone wrong so the Windows Mobile operating system can not load. If this is the case, the phone will automatically revert to the Bootloader as it can't "see" any system installed. Think of a PC reverting to the BIOS and giving you the message "Operating System Not Found" if you remove or disconnect the hard drive.
If you can't boot simply be doing a soft reset using the stylus in the hole you need to successfully flash a new Operating System or ROM. Check out the Encyclopedia at the bottom of the main forum page if you don't understand any of the words I've used here. If you can be more specific about your device and the ROM you tried to flash others may be able to help.

Hard Reset or Reflash
Hi
After flashing a ROM you always need to perform a manual Hard Reset. Read the Wiki page on your device for info on how to do this. If that doesn't help then you may have a bad flash. If this is the case then flash the ROM again but as soon as it's done perform a manual hard reset.
If you still can't get it working flash an official operators or HTC ROM to your device.
G'luck!

Hello everyone, i'm new here so..sorry if i post this in a different place, but anyways..
i'm using Infocus M2 4g, i'm really happy with it, but yesterday i decided to install an android 5.0.2 custom ROM, maybe i forgot to wipe cache and make a factory reset before installing it, now my phone works till the welcome page, and the screen touch isn't working, and whenever the screen turns off, the device reboots again and keeps doing it over and over, i don't have a custom recovery, i flashed the ROM by a tool called DinDong and it requires usb debugging so that i can install a different ROM, and get rid of the problem, i can get to the fastboot screen, but i can't flash a room trough that :/
so this means .. NO Custom Recovery, No USB debugging, .. nothing :crying:
i would really appreciate it if you guys could help me, i have so many friends that i want to talk to again on whatsapp, and i don't want to use bluestacks again i need to get back my phone working,
thank you so much for reading this, and please reply as soon as possible)
and sorry for my English

Softbricked Xperia Z3 - locked bootloader, disabled USB debugging, no recovery access
Hey, I'm in big need for help in reanimation of my Xperia Z3. I've been trying to install CM 12.1 on rooted Lollipop 5.0.2. In TWRP, after doing a full wipe I've checked ROM on sdcard and started installation. After some time, phone prompted sth like: "there's no root acces, click ok to install SU". Guided by intuition rather than by wisdom I've clicked it, and here started my problems. After reboot phone was stuck on Sony logo screen. So, I've do some research and started to apply solutions one by another.
- After trying to manually access recovery mode, there's only a short flash of green LED and that's all, black screen. Propably there's no more TWRP aboard. Other ways to access it are blocked: I can't use any apk because of softbrick, and can't use ADB commands because USB debugging is disabled after wipe.
- I can access fastboot mode visible for Flashtool; when phone is in this mode, blue LED lights permemently. I've tried to unlock bootloader: program gives message, that there's no possibility of it on my phone. By the way, I would prefer to stay with blocked bootloader. I was trying to flash custom kernel, but there was an error. I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was about lack of permissions, i think that it's also because of USB debugging disabled. The same error shows when I'm trying to flash any other ROM - stock 5.0.2, prerooted 6.0.1 or Paranoid Android.
Most of solutions in similar topics around the web tells to use recovery mode, Flashtool or ADB commands. All af that failed for me and I'm stuck with no ideas what to do next. Now I'm trying to repair or recover stock, unrooted ROM with Xperia Companion, but I'm really afraid of this process because I can't check battery or load it normally while stuck in boot loop. Maybe it will help, then I'll edit or delete this post. I hope you can help me somehow.
Thank you in advance and best regards,
BW

Good day, I have a problem and I have no idea how to solve this. I didn't want to but an root app glitched and now I have the wrong resolution on my phone, this also breaks the touch controls, so I cant navigate/use my phone.
So atm I'm not in panic as I'm sure there is one file I need to change or replace with my old (too old, I would like to keep my files if possible) twrp backup?
Another problem would be I cant acess adb from the rom as I cant confirm my (already activated) usb debugging
The adb command that proppably could help would be: "wm size reset"
So where is the wm value stored?
Reflashing the newest rom doesn't help
I'm thankfull for every help!
try this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chornerman.easydpichanger
good luck
Thank you but I couldn't use my phone because the touch wasn't working in this wrong resolution.
However, I solved my problem!
Luckily, I have a USB-to-go cabel and my Miui rom has support for mouse and keyboard, this way I was able to use my phone and after that ADB to reset the resolution
Hopefully this will help some in the future with the same Problem
I need to say that I was really lucky as my draw pattern was scaled incorrect and so only a few pixel where left from the bottom row dots, barely unlockable, but I got it. Else I had potentially soft-bricked my phone, and I can only hope that a factory reset would help here.
Hello everybody, my niece forgot the lock screen pattern of her Alcatel A2XL and i'm looking for a way to bypass/remove it or at least be able to retrieve all the photos on the smartphone.
The problem is (i think) the smartphone is not rooted and doesn't have USB debugging enabled, thus ADB (from pc) doesn't show devices and i can't find a way to flash TWRP or CWM on it. I also tried to flash the recovery with "SP flash tool" but when i press Download, nothing happens, the download just doesn't start.
I tried the method suggested on another topic where you press (and keep pressed) Volume+ key and connect the phone to the pc but it still refuses to download.
Can someone suggests me a way to resolve my issue please? I'd really appreciate.
Thanks and merry christmas
I solved my issue by doing a backup of the user data with the official Alcatel recovery and then extracting and cracking the gesture.key file.
Thanks anyway
good job bro and nice info
