Hello guys,
I tried to root my phone after unlocking the boatloade, but I ended up having software brick : )
I'm now having the massage ( bad boot:recover image).
I tried to fastboot flash boot & recover images for different versions, didn't work with me.
I also lost the coloros recover mode, it is not working with me anymore: )
Anyway, i'm out of ideas so anyone have thoughts to try let me know
Thanks
I'm in the same situation, well similar - I can still get into the bootloader and run fastboot commands and when I flashed boot and recovery images I stopped getting that error (still won't boot though).
Where did you get the boot and recovery images from? Recovery isn't included in the Ozip file....

Well, sorry for my late replay.
But, the recovery image i managed to download it from a guy who uploaded the recovery.img and boot.img.
But still stuck with the wrong image error even after flashing the official boot image
I'm sad..
Ok, well if it was the user Sage then those were my images, I don't think anyone else has uploaded a recovery image.
I've gotten a little closer to unbricking I think. I managed to get hold of an ofp file for cph2025 and a crack that enables msn download tool (the Oppo flash tool) to work.
I get an error when trying to flash, probably because it's a 256Gb PDEM30, not the 512gb cph2025. I just need to get my hands on the PDEM30 ofp firmware file and I think it'll work. Hoping it'll leak soon!
This could either then be flashed using the msndownload tool or with the images/files extracted, possibly using the Qualcomm QFIL flash tool.
Hey! I've been looking for a ofp file for the cph2025, where did you manage to find it? Thanks!

Well for the CPH2025 I found one OFP file on XDA in this forum (version A14), then I paid €10 for one on {Mod edit: Link removed - Oswald Boelcke, Moderator} (version A29).
Not really sure it it's legit or not but I extracted the OFP and looks ok. One thing to note - the firmware for the X2 and X2 pro are the same, as you can see if you download the OTA firmware from the Oppo website - both links on each support page link to the same download and it's normally named CPH2023 even though it's for the CPH2025 as well. Same goes for the Chinese version, firmware is named with PDEM10 prefix.
I'm uploading both the PDEM10/30 and the latest CPH2023/25 versions I have to my Google drive, link below - it might help someone. Files are 8GB and 16GB so pretty large. They both include the MSNdownload tool but you'll need the crack to use and get around the username / password.
[url]https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1sukgj8jbesE_yAotWutMwyWfb9zbl5zI?usp=sharing[/URL]
Not sure this is right but I'm using one cracked for Oneplus (also shared on the link). That basically has 4 files, you drop your OFP file into that folder, run MsnDownloaderTool V4.0.exe and instead of opening the OnePlus OPS file, it'll open the Oppo OFP file ready for flashing.
Start you phone in EDL mode and away you go. You can get to EDL by turning the phone off, thenholding down volume up, then plugging in the USB. The tool should the recognise the phone, providing you have the Qualcom drivers installed - lots of info on this so I won't explain here.
I'm currently getting an error when flashing relating to "Sahara", trying to resolve....
Hey brother! Thanks for uploading these images. Yeah, I've also had problems with sahara connection. If I figure it out, I'll post here! Thank you for the ofp files!
Yeah, just tried to flash my device. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to EDL mode, thus showing sahara communication failed.

Hi just seen your posts. So I had this too, same with fastboot. Sometimes it will stay on and sometimes it will reset after about 15 seconds - very annoying. I did find something that might help though...
But firstly, is your cph2025 European or global? Not sure if it matters but I have 2 ofp files, one has EU in the name and the other has PU. PU it's the one I uploaded, think it's the global one and when I looked inside there were some references to India. If yours is European let me know, l upload it in a bit anyway.
As for EDL resetting, have you tried not letting go of the buttons, this kept it awake for me. So turn off, which I'm having to do by holding all 3 buttons to reset, then volume down and power to get into fastboot, then power off.
Then with cable unplugged hold volume up, then plug in charger cable (keep holding the button down) - now hit start in MsnDownloader. If you keep the button pressed it seems to stop it rebooting.
Hope that helps
Hey, It stays connected until I press start in the msmdownloadtool, then it starts connecting and disconnecting from pc, and then I have to reboot the device by holding the volume up and power button (I'm talking about the EDL mode). If I don't reboot it, the pc doesn't see the phone, seems like the phone just stops respoding to the PC usb cable.
I think its the global variant, the last time I updated it, the firmware ended in PU).
Thanks for trying to help, I really appreciate it! Did you have any luck recovering and flashing your device?

Same for me, have given up on the MSNDownloadTool, t least this cracked version we have. I've found a couple of people online who offer a flashing service, one guy was recommended on XDA but he wanted $200 up front! He did however tell me it would need the most up to date MSNDownloadTool with latest firmware. Think it might have to go back to China to be fixed
At that point, I think that the best thing to do is to visit your local oppo service center, they'll do it for free.
If only it were that easy, my phone is the Chinese version and I'm in the UK. We don't have walk in Oppo service centres here and they will only repair the model that's sold here, so CPH2025.
Is the Warranty not international?
Might be worth a try?
Managed to get Oppo UK to accept it for repair. It's currently at the service centre, they said they'd probably have to do a remote flash from China.
Didn't have any luck when actually calling them, it was the Facebook support page that were really helpful.
Hopefully will get it back later this week, wondering what the damages will be as it's not covered under warranty (it is international warranty but only applies if the model is sold in the region is being repaired).
Got the phone back, all working fine and even covered under warranty

Hello everybody. I have an oppo find x2 pro pdem30, Chinese version, I know the post is old, but what I want is to know if I can put global flash in oppo pdem30. already tried flash
PDEM10_11_A.11_200603_34280f3c.zip and I get sahara communication failed error. My oppo pdem30 still has bootloader lock, but I already ordered it on deeptest.apk. So I was wondering if I can test another form of global flash on top of PDEM30_11_C.24?

No, it can't be done. You would brick your device.

Hello, firstly allow me to apologize for my English and long post.
I had a problem with TWRP not being able to perform any action due to not being able to mount data, after searching on the internet it was suggested to flash the recovery with OrangeFox, which I did but wish I hadn't.
Now my phone constantly reboots without showing anything on the screen, was it not for the vibration I would think that it was completely dead. It should be noted that it currently has no working ROM inside (hence why I was trying to flash another one with TWRP which was not working), before flashing OrangeFox when I opened it it went straight to the recovery, although it did show the Xiaomi brand while booting. Now I'm unable to perform any action, including the most important one, accessing the bootloader in order to flash another recovery. Is there anything that can be done by me? Is it dead for good? Do I have to send it to a technician?(I would rather try everything before that)
You may have to re-flash TWRP via ADB fastboot. Once you are done go straight to TWRP

I cannot access the bootloader to flash TWRP. I cannot also use ADB to reboot to bootloader because it doesn't recognize the device, it says "no devices connected" or something similar. When I was able to access the phone I had to change the usb mode to DIMI or something similar, I don't quite remember how it was called.
Same problem here
My redmi 6 is broken with a black screen and vibrates about every 10 seconds or so
sp flash tool might solve your problem; you can download the stockroom of your phone from the official website and try to flash it through SP Flash tool;
it's supposed to work but it didn't work for me; I get an error message ( BROM_CMD_FAIL) and MI flash tool asks for authorized account
I hope that you can fix your phone

Thanks for the information but that that was one of the first things I did; didn't work for me either. I gave it to Xiaomi to fix it, I expected to have to pay even though my phone is still in warranty but strangely they fixed it for free. I didn't tell them how it happened though, I just told them that it had stop working. I suppose that they didn't care to check whether I had done something on the device.

If it asks for an authorized account, then you have no other solution. That's what I learnt as I tried every possible solution I came across in the internet.

I contacted an Egyptian guy in facebook to fix the phone.
Not sure if it is allowed to post his profile link here as it will be counted as advertisement?
It cost me only $4.* (Around 5 dollars in PayPal). That was a year ago, I don't know if he still charges the same amount.

He is an Arab, I dunno if he speaks English. So I can try to contact him for you, but I will take no responsibility. I will link you together if you want. But, beyond this, I won't be involved.
I dealt with him, I paid him before I got my phone fixed, He gave me files to download and then he controller my laptop and used his account to flashy phone. So I only dealt with him once, and he was trustworthy at that time. But I can assure you nothing. It is up to you.

I'm in touch with a guy with and authorized EDL account for Xiaomi, who speaks Spanish and English, but he's not sure I'm plugging the phone in EDL mode, he insists that I must use the test points, I tried everything but I can't find them. So, was your phone before flashing just rebooting in a loop with a totally black screen and just small vibration after some seconds? That Arab guy was able to come alive your phone just with sp flashtools and an authorized account?
I guess my phone is in the same kind of brick that yours were, the only way to detect it in my laptop is keeping press the volume up button after plug and it appears in the devices manager just for a second unless I tried some operation with sp flashtools (error status_brom_cmd_fail (0xc0060005) by the way). Is this the same state your phone was?
Thank you so much for your help.

Hi @Pradeep1998, as far as I know, the only way to unbrick a phone in that state is using sp flashtools, you won't be able to flash an image using miflash because the phone is unable to boot in recovery or fastboot modes.
I assumed the only thing I need to unbrick the phone is an authorized account to login when trying to flash.
I can tell you what steps I did to get to this point:
Install all necessary drivers on the computer to detect the phone. I presume you already have them.
Open device manager on Windows and plug the phone, in the USB computer port, with button volume + pressed. Wait a while and you should see a new interface show in just for 1-2 seconds. It appears every time the phone boot.
If you can see the device, it's time to try to flash:
Download and install MiFlash Pro. It includes a flashtool version integrated in some way with Xiaomi account, which is necessary to login and unlock the bootloader during flashing.
Download an image to flash for redmi 6 (cereus)
Download auth & DA files for spflash. I'm not sure if it's important use one or another, I use these that I got from some forum.
Open MiFlash Pro app and, in the top bar, you can see spflash, click there and spflashtool app will launch.
Load scatter file from cereus image and DA & auth files. If it throws a validation error loading the files, go to the options and uncheck one item to avoid validation (it has exactly the same name that the error)
Click Download, plug the phone with volume + pressed and when the app starts to flash a login Xiaomi miaccount windows will be shown; if you fill with your username data it will say, unauthorized account or something similar.
I hope this information is useful to you. Greets.

My phone had the same issue with yours ( black screen, vibrates every 4 or 5 seconds, and the laptop detects it only for a second when I plug it pressing power button as I remember, and sp flashtools gives me an error ( BROM_START FAIL SOMETHING) so it was exactly the same error. By the way, according to my knowledge there is no EDL mode for MTK devices ( redmi 6 comes with an MTK cpu).
The guy repaired it with mi flash tool ( mi flash comes with an sp flashtool that kept asking me for an authorized account).
So I think that your device can be fixed with an authorized mi account.

Completely new to this phone. Nice grab! I was able to use your download and 7z zip to extract boot.img from boot.img.p.
I tried to put this file into magisk but no luck.
Have you been able to unlock the bootloader yet?
I tried the fastboot OEM unlock and fastboot flashing unlock when in bootloader mode but it doesn't work.
With someone else's help I was able to locate where the boot.img is located on the phone but unable to extract it.
/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot
Backup boot.img via terminal one-line command

I did the same thing you probably did to attempt to patch it with Magisk, no luck. I haven't had the time to try further recently. Enabling OEM Unlock and attempting to unlock the bootloader just leads to needing an unlock code, much like bootloader unlocking a Moto device.
I contacted TCL support a long time back when I first got the phone and they were 100% not willing to help with any USA based TCL 10 Pro unlocking. The customer service worker literally said they weren't allowed to help with US based devices. There's no downloads anywhere for the firmware either, which I think goes against Google's agreement to android on a device, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Android 11 for the TCL 10L has been being pushed in italy. This a large file about 2 to 3 GB. I really hope when we see it on our phones you are able to pull the link from logcat as well. This should be the entire rom. All we have now is OTA patch files. I've tried so many things. I have all drivers fully working even the Qualcomm 9008 Diagnostic driver. I can put the phone into EDL mode.
To put phone into EDL mode you need usb debugging enabled and type in secret code into the dialer *#*#3424#*#* which enables the diagnostic port via toast notification. Then turn phone off, hold both volume up and volume down and plug phone into PC. You will be prompted with the Download mode screen. Hold volume up to enter EDL.
There are ways to backup in EDL mode, I'm just not well versed in commands.

I'm wondering if I can pull some social engineering off, maybe be like "Hey my phone reset itself, can't boot it, but I read online something for a samsung phone called Odin and Fastboot and such? Some how you can install the system that way?" See what they say/link me to

Good luck to you.
I contacted TCL support myself with no luck. They immediately put my case in pending close status.
Is there a way this ZTE tool can be modified to work for our device?

I'll check it out. If its possible to view the code in a tool like dnSpy or extract files from the exe with 7zip, its possible to use with our device, i'm sure as long as the commands are similar
Well you're in luck as it is just a .bat file program simple notepad++ will do.
I will be following this thread with intrest, root could be the deciding factor in me purchasing this device.

Have had the phone for less than 6 months and I'm already having LCD issues. When the display is off, just sitting on a table or something, it'll flash white randomly like its getting an electric signal at random. Its nothing I did. I've never hard dropped the thing. Everywhere I go pretty much is carpeted except work. If manufacturer warranty doesn't cover me, I'll stop recommending the phone to people
I actually switched to an Essential Phone recently. Way better experience, way cheaper too. I have around a dozen of them anyway and have been selling em on swappa (dunno if I'm allowed to say that here, but oh well) lol
@KaptinBoxxi Sounds like you have Ambient Display on for notifications.

I don't believe anyone has Logcatted the update process yet to get the firmware, but on the subject of this post, I do have some updates
I was digging through my Logcat from january and realized I missed something massive. I have yet to figure out the URL structure, but I have all the info for it.
So when you go to the following link, it gives a bunch of errors of missing info
https://g2master-sa-east.tclclouds.com/notify_new.php
For the firmware here on this post at least, each value from my device is
Code:
id = 0156260
curef = T799B-2ALCUS11
vk = 741ace917e3527af81412ca93b0fcce2de04a264
salt = 1611977254070885419
fv = 4DJ1LM10
tv = 4DJBLMB0
op = 1000
status = 999
mode = 2
cltp = 10
type = firmware
formatted from logcat
reportContent= {"id":"0156260","salt":"1611977254070885419","curef":"T799B-2ALCUS11","fv":"4DJ1LM10","tv":"4DJBLMB0","mode":"2","cltp":"10","type":"Firmware","op":"1000","status":"999","vk":"741ace917e3527af81412ca93b0fcce2de04a264"}
no matter what, I get the errors on the web page
I hard bricked my OnePlus 9 (LE2113) while I was trying to unlock the bootloader. I tried flashing with Global, EU and Indian variants of MSM Tools but none of them worked.
I'm holding Power and Vol Up to reboot, then I hold Up and Down Volume buttons, plug in with USB cable and start MSM Tool. Every time I try to flash with "Use LIte Firehose" unchecked I always get the "Sahara communication" error at exactly 18 seconds. With "Use LIte Firehose" checked however download completes normally but phone is still hard bricked. This happened on every MSM Tool I tried.
I tried this on two laptops (Win 10 with USB 2.0 ports & WIn 11 with USB 3.0 ports) but ended up with the same results. I'm also using official cable. I have Qualcomm drivers installed.
Can anyone help me? Phone is hard bricked. I can't access anything besides EDL.
Just noticed this thread after your comment in the MSM thread.
Please review my reply. In a nutshell, I bricked my OP9 to a point nothing would work, tried everything for days. Thankfully, EtherealRemnant told me about a specific MSMToolkit for Indian OP9Pros that would get my phone up and running and then be able to flash a proper OP9.
I just compressed it and uploaded it for you, in case you haven't grabbed it yet. Its hosted on mega, so the download should be acceptable wherever you reside on this dirty space ball we call home.
IndianOP9-ProMSM aka The Last Hope
And again, good luck, you got this!

I managed to flash with Lite Firehose but phone is still dead. I had some issues with phone being recognized but it somehow connected. I have also noticed that device under Ports (COM & LPT) is being recognized even after unpluging the phone, weirdly.
deleted because double post sorry
your device is an eu model i would not answer it with the india msm tool or the modded msm tool, you should get it to work with the eu msm tool
I don't know to what extent the modded msm tool has been processed (my concern is that if certain data on the mobile phone is changed from eu to india, I am concerned that the eu msm tool will no longer work with the eu mobile phone afterwards because certain data now identify cell phone as india model)

Hello,first thing i noticed is that msm tool finished with around 200 sec.i think that's not normal.I often use msm tool and every time finishes around over 300 sec.I see you have correct Qualcomm drivers.i'm not an expert but you must investigate a little bit more.good luck

Drivers are correct and I was flashing it with USB 3.0 port .
I would try older stock ROMs first. O+7pro have plenty of them regarding EDL/MSM mode.
Another thing are checksums. Try to check if your download was successfull by counting them from your side and by comparing what you have with provided download. It should match 1:1.

I have the old stock ROM which I flashed it in EDL but phone didn't boot when it is completed phone reboot too but not in normal mode in EDL again
Most often people have bad experience with qualcomm drivers. So make sure that you have some released after 2020 year, as oneplus 7 pro was released in 2020 year. Another issue is related to usb 3.x, better avoid that and try USB 2.0 instead, most of people have best results with older interface of that kind. EDL is kind of old solution, so better to stay away with USB 3.x and use USB 2.0.
Have you got any idea your flash is successful in edl tool? Have you got clean results or warnings/errors?
To be honest with you, I have to use EDL too, because I did wrong upgrade. I used custom ROM instead of stock ROM. Now I have not access to fastboot nor adb via USB either.
try different EDL ROMs, I found 2 threads. one is here, second there. As almost nobody anserws our questions, I will let you know what I did if I do it successfully.
Well, I discovered that I'm in pretty bad situation. In my case not only adb and fastboot does not works. It appears that EDL does not work either. Why? because I connected another oneplus phone over USB to PC and EDL mode was detected spot on. In case my o+7pro, well still same error as previously with adb/fastboot over USB. Something messed with USB on my phone at software side.
So I have to get motherboard get cheap. I do not thik that I can desolder flash or eMMC and revert that so easy.
Sorry Man, can not help you any
further. Turns out my issue is signifigantly other than yours.
Trying to flash my friend's phone back to stock but having some issues, you might have seen twixyfig's post in the OnePlus 9 Pro threads, but it's a regular OP9 and not the Pro.
Anyways, I have been trying to flash to working condition but MSM won't help. It keeps saying "No valid trg ID" and "Param preload" for a while now. This happened because we tried to root the phone but failed. The bootloader is unlocked, and fastboot works too.
TIA.
Whenever you post asking for help, always make sure to add as many details as possible. Your phone model, variant, current firmware, the tool you are using, the tools you used before, the steps you took before you started facing issues, every detail you can possibly tell. Only then someone might be able to help.

Download the MSM Tool (Global) from this link. Global works on Chinese variant (LE2110) too. Have proper drivers OnePlus drivers installed. Turn off your phone and set it aside, do not connect to PC yet. Run the MSM Tool exe file. Once its loaded, click Start and it should wait for device. Now on your phone, hold vol+ and vol- buttons (no power button), and connect the cable to phone. This will make the phone enter EDL mode. The PC would recognize the device (USB plugged in sound) but phone screen would still be black. On MSM, the flashing would start and would be done in about 4-5 mins. Good luck.
