Hi Devs,
I had installed ateeq's rom 3.1 used it for 2-3 days after which i started getting a strange error when i open camera or camcorder
on ateeq's rom the apps i mentioned automatically close and when i tried installing cynogenmod9.1 build 11 and 14 it gives me the following error
"Cant connect to camera"
I need urgent help on this issue as i use camera a lot
any suggestions or fixes are most welcome
thanks:crying:
and i have tried removing the battery and restarting,
going to recovery wiping everything possible excluding sd card and flashing various rom's , but the problem seems to exists
If you have already tried flashing other roms after complete wipe , then it may be a hardware problem.

I faced this problema couple of times too...I would recommend you to use a camera app from app store. The Camera bug is present in many ROMs.Even in CM10 beta #5 which is almost stable has a bug in camera...I use Camera Zoom FX for now..it will give you good quality picture plus better editing options.
Hi
On latest updates and updated the one plus camera from the below
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl.../oneplus-camera-3-10-19-android-apk-download/
Phone rooted and using xxxNolimits and Smurf kernel
However when I open it all I get is a black screen??
Anyway of fixing this
Okay removed updates but on version 3.8.114
What's the latest version that works with 7 Pro?
I get the same issue with the new updated camera app 4.0.251.
Phone is not rooted and on factory software.
Earlier when it was on 3.10.19 it was working fine.
Uninstalling updates now.
After uninstalling the update 4.0.251 and reinstalling 3.10.19 now it's working fine.

I have OnePlus 6
Since past 2 months I am facing this issue. Whenever I open camera. It goes completely black. I am so frustrated with it as my daily usage is from camera....any permanent solution
I updated it via Oxygen Updater app, from Android 9 to 10 and then Android 11.1.1.1. The camera was working completely fine on Android 9/10 but 3-4 days after updating to Android 11.1.1.1., it started crashing. On 6-7th day it completely stopped working on stock Camera app.
Now when I click the Camera app, it opens the Camera with black screen and closes within two seconds. That's it, no response at all. It does not switches to front camera at all. If I select any other Camera Mode (Video/Portrait) on back cam it closes without any response.
I need your help Any solution
Hi I have a Nokia 4.2 that updated to Android 11. This was really bad as it stopped NFC working with my daughters freestyle libre sensor
I reverted back to android 10 using adb and fastboot (switching active partition).
Once android 10 was back up and running I disabled automatic updates in developer tools which stated that it would stop updates applying on restarts.
However last night the device rebooted itself and force installed android 11 so i am back to where i was a week ago.
Is there anyway to stop the device updating when you have android updates in the a/b slot manner? Any help would be really appreciated
I think I may have found what I did wrong the first time.
I followed this guide https://www.techmesto.com/downgrade-nokia-2-2-from-android-10-to-android-9-pie/
When the device booted in android 10 I did not connect to wifi to stop it pulling updates, however I think it used mobile network to check for updates.
This time I clicked the setup offline button and so far it is not showing any system updates with the developer tools / automatic system updates disabled
Fingers crossed this is working now
Phone model: Oneplus 7 Pro GM1911 (India)
Problem: Back camera not working - Black screen in the viewfinder
Wherever I try to open the camera from WhatsApp, snap, camera, gcam, etc.. my phone crashes and the only way to come out of it is to re-boot my phone.
If i long press on the camera app and select selfie my front camera works, so the problem is only with the back camera and whatever apps try to access the back camera.
Until recently I was in OOS 11 beat 4, realized my camera is not working so reset the phone to android 9 via an official update zip and then updated to OOS 11 stable V11.0.0.2 hotfix where many people were saying the camera started working again, but even after doing that my camera was not working.
Then I flashed PixelExpeiance ROM, following all the instructions for a clean flash. Still, my camera was not working
I again re-flashed the FW11.0.0.2 global with pixel experience ROM still installed, everything else works except my back camera.
Everything was working until I moved to Beta 4 of official OOS11, can anyone tell me how do I get my back camera working again??
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
P.S: The country I'm living in right now doesn't have a Oneplus service center so taking it to Oneplus is not an option for me.
Update: Tried flashing the stock firmware using MSM tool, 10.3.8 still my camera does not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Did you try OOS 11.0.2 they say it was a hotfix for most of the problems people where facing. Just a suggestion
All right I spent a good chunk of the night trying to solve this but was unable to do so.
On OOS 10.3.8, I tried installing an updated APK for the OnePlus Camera that I got from APK Mirror. After the updated APK installed, it came up as a black screen. I tried reverting and I still got the black screen. I tried updating to OOS 11 to see if maybe the actual newer APK would solve it but it did not. So I did the MSMDownload back to OOS 10.3.8 and was still having the same problem.
I was able to get the camera working after MSMDownloading OOS 9.5.3 to the phone and updated it to the latest OOS9 (forget the number right now). Camera worked on there. Soon as I update to OOS 10 again, the camera stopped working.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Ahaan it's happening with me also, i was using corvus os 4.O but after updating a newer version of corvus os 5.O, I am facing same problem like you ( camera is not working)
Someone help me to fix my camer
