CODM crashed when rooted - Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) Questions & Ans

I've tried several times, but unfortunately when i root my device,CODM crashes without any warning. It's not like opens and crashes immediately. Sometimes after loading screen, sometimes in the middle of the match. It just closes, not minimized. What could be the problem. I've got, Magisk, EdExposed, CustoMIUIzer.

try uninstalling xposed, it is usually the culprit, rooting (Magisk) shouldn't cause that.

Culprit is the "Magisk Manager". Without root, just the app installed the CODM crashes.

has anti root (like super mario)
You have to have magisk I made the game and apart magisk renamed the application, in magisk settings it puts something like recompiling application with a random name, there put the name you want and that's it, it works perfect, it happened to me and I went crazy. Greetings

Try disabling or freezing them instead. We only have limited root access, and I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure we don't have root access to where the system apps "live". I disabled some, and froze others (by that I mean disabled through Android-Settings-App Manager, or froze through TiBu), and they're still frozen after a reboot.
Yeah right now root can only write to system/xbin I believe so freezing and disabling is gonna be your only option for right now. Any appearance of deleting apps will revert if you refresh the app or reboot the phone, is what I've read.
Freeze works fine. I de-bloated my M8 and it seems to stick after reboot.

Anybody heard of root methods yet?

Last I heard autoprime managed to root the xt1028, but I haven't seen any news as of yet.
As far as I know, the only root method that works on 4.4.4 is kingoroot apk, which only grants temp root and may cause the launchers to close unexpectedly.
Anyone seen anything in the wild?
Edit-
Nova launcher and home launcher crashed
android.process.acore crashed
android.process.media crashed
Their version of superuser also crashes

Everything crashes with the apk. I installed a different launcher and fixed that problem, but Titanium Backup, all the google apps (Play Store, Hangouts, Gmail, etc.), and even the phone app crash, basically all I can do is power off.
I'm using the 1.3.8 version of the Windows software, and that works fine. I'd like to find a standalone way to temp root, then I'd be comfortable installing busybox, xposed, an app to soft reboot, etc. Bonus if it'd use supersu instead of some custom solution.
Of course, what I REALLY want is a permanent root.
Hrm, I wonder if there would be a way to do a soft root on bootup. You'd need to be able to cancel just in case it messed things up.

Rooted phone with Xposed freezes when I click Snapchat icon

My phone is rooted and has Xposed, Snapprefs, and Snapchat 9.21.1.0 installed. When I tap on the Snapchat icon, my phone hangs for a few minutes. It doesn't respond to any of my touches/button presses. On top of that, Snapchat usually just ends up not loading, and then my phone will crash and restart within a minute of being "usable" again. Is there any way to fix this? This does not happen if Snapprefs is uninstalled/disabled. I logged into Snapchat before installing Xposed, and I have RootCloak installed, with Snapchat in the apps, and "Snapprefs","Snapprefs.apk","XposedBridge" and "Xposedbridge.jar" in the keywords in RootCloak.

Which Xposed framework version do you have installed on your device along with Xposed Installer?
Does Xposed Installer say that the framework is active (in green text)?

It's not an issue with Xposed as far as I know. Every other module that I have installed works fine. I have version 81, and it's active.
The issue is with Snappprefs. After uninstalling it, I was able to use snapchat just fine again. Seems there's some bug with it :/
Also, do you also have issues with Snapchat camera going dark when recording videos, and the front camera being way too dark compared to the normal camera app?

Sorry, I didn't realize there was a response. I don't/didn't have any other issues with Snapchat other than the Snapprefs issue

Oneplus 7 Pro Screen Timeout/Auto turn off not working

Hey guys,
Ever since the latest update 10.0.5, I've noticed that my screen is not timing out and remains on until I press the power button. I am rooted with Magisk and am using EdXposed YAHFA with RiruCore.
I have the sleep settings set to 15 seconds in the display option.
The timeout does work properly in certain apps (I've noticed it works fine when I have Brevent open) but is not working in the majority of applications.
I've tried to boot the phone in Safe Mode and the issue persists even there.
Anyone else experiencing the same issue or have any solutions in mind aside from a factory reset? Should I try uninstalling Edxposed and Magisk?
Delete hidden core module and you will be fine. It is a known issue caised by that app as well as crashing chrome. By the way that module doesnt really work. Only fools magisk safety net check. Other checks qill still fail

Often bootloop after restart, but only after the pin has been entered

Restart three to four times, then it works again.
Do any of you know this problem?
My cell phone is a Oneplus 7 pro. Current OxygenOS, TWRP, Magisk, Riru Edxposed ...
Most likely you are having an issue with Esxposed. Turn off all your modules in Magisk and then reboot. Enable one by one and repeat til you find the cause.
Sounds good. I will try that. If I can pinpoint the cause, I will report again. Meanwhile, thank you very much.
I just hit any app quickly before it reboot. This solve the issue. Otherwise it restart three to four times.

Your hint was great. I was able to localize the problem. The trigger was XPrivacyLua. Strictly speaking, the limitation of "Google Play Services" ---> use tracking.
Now the cell phone ALWAYS starts normally.
Many thanks

Awesome glad I could assist! Happy modding
I had this issue with just riru exposed and not the Xposed modules at all. Trust me, it will come back.

Did you use the SandHook or the yahfa version?

I think it was sandhook. Everything started off fine then I noticed slight performance degradation. Followed by the double boot you mentioned. To one-day the phone continuously rebooting at any attempt to input pin. I uninstalled modules not Magisk and Xposed one by one to find the culprit and sure enough it was Ed Xposed. No such issues ever happened with TaiChi Xposed. The only reason I was even on Ed was to troubleshoot the AOD app for a dev but this also happened the first time I used Ed

Very interesting. Everything sounds plausible as you say it.
TaiChi is supposed to collect a lot of data ... Can you confirm that?
