Clash Royale - Fullscreen mode cutoff corners - Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) Questions & Ans

Dear Friends
I own POCO F2 Pro and I have noticed, when playing game Clash Royale (it's forced to fullscreen, because it's compatible with it - I cannot disable fullscreen, because it's grey out in options of Fullscreen Apps), upper corners are cutoff. It looks like, whole screen is moved in up direction in such way, that bottom is higher, then it should be.
Are there any possibility to disable Fullscreen mode for application, which is marked as compatible and there is no possibility to set it off?
May you download Clash Royale for free from Google Play and check, if you have the same problem?
I have the latest MIUI Global 12.0.2 Stable 12.0.2.0(QJKEUXM). Android version 10 QKQ1.191117.002.
I would be glad for any help and support.
Sincerely

Can I control whether or not to use multi-window?

In Playstore, some apps have introduction videos. For example, Jump Desktop. When I pressed the play button, multi-window was activated and the video was played on the right window. In this case, I would rather had the video being played full-screen. Can we do that without manually adjusting the size of the window?

Click to collapse
Go to: Settings - Device - Multi window, and disable "Open in multiwindow view"
After that you can still use multi window, but those windows are not open automatically.
Also while in there you may want go to notification panel settings and make sure that the multi window toggle is in the quick settings panel rather than the available buttons section. That way you can toggle easily by bringing the notification shade down and panning left or right to find the toggle for times when you want to disable it altogether.
I usually keep the open in window on and use the toggle. I'm less annoyed by the feature i guess. I like it in play store when opening video samples of applications where while playing the developer's video I can read reviews or other info.

Sometimes I like to use the device in portrait mode. When I clicked on an introduction video from Play Store, a 2nd window was opened but the orientation of the video was in landscape mode. I had to rotate the device to watch the video. How come the video's orientation was not adjusted accordingly based on the orientation of the device?
Yeah there is no way to control that. I think the way samsung coded the launch action it doesn't check for orientation and adjust accordingly.
Is there a way to make suggestions to Samsung App developers?

B190 update makes games run terrible?

Hi just updated to b190 is it just me or has anybody else noticed that the update makes games run terrible?lag and judder all over the shop .cheers
Same problem here, after update to B190. Clash of Clash picture quality when zoomed out blurry/fuzzy, when zoomed in a little bit better but stil not crisp as before the update..
Yep my clash of clans gone the same way and golf clash is silly laggy
I found this on the internet and tried it. Makes picture quality quite a bit better.
In Android's developer options you can try to change the dpi minimum width value from 360 to 480, and after that the games' graphics are good, but gaming is a little laggy, so I keep the 360 value. After that I tried to clean every information of the game (without reinstalling) and now the graphics works well. It seems that after the upgrade to Android 7, clash royale wasn't able to identify the proper dpi value, and maybe there were conflict between information cached from the old system. Try only to clean cache and game information, it will solve the problem I hope. For me it worked

Huawei Nova lite(pra-lx2) gyroscope issues

There's some weird problem is in my Huawei Nova lite or p8 lite or gr3 2017 (IDK why th they name so many model names for one device).
Its 360 vr functionality is not working properly. When i test the gyroscope, rotation vectors, gravity sensor, compass etc all gives the perfect value but when i run 360 video on youtube (not in vr mode), street view or any kind of 360 related game, screen doesn't move the way it supposed to do. Like if i turn my mobile from left to right it moves but it lags behind and the screen shows like it is losing frames.
But in few sectors like vr mode in youtube or cardboard demo mode the videos are smooth. I don't understand where is the problem. The app is ok. sensors are ok but I guess the firmware is responsible for this because some says when they upgrade to emui 5 they have similar issues. So I don't know what to do now.

Game Booster working correctly?

Hi, I am just playing around with the settings in gamebooster and have the feeling that something isn't working correctly.
For example:
I edit settings (resolution) of Super Mario Run and save the settings.
Then I reopen the game, but after that I can't press anything in the game (no recognition of touch input)
Then I have to reboot the phone.
Kill the game from Multitask-Windows doesn't help.
Moreover Mario Run is listed as a 120Hz compatible game on Razer homepage. But with 120hz it stutters on my device. Have to set it to 60hz.
Do your game work correctly if you edit settings and reopen the game?
And how do you configure your Game Booster?
I'm using the custom settings and also experience odd behaviour. When switching resolution with summoners war I can't close menus via the x-buttons. They're simply not touchable.
I don't have to restart the phone for changes to take effect.
I did further testing. Yes, the only problem is switching resolution. It only works if the in game booster selected resolution is the same as the resolution in device settings.
Otherwise something is wrong with touch input.
And yes, reboot is not needed after change of game booster settings.
For summoners war only the 1440p resolution works even though I use 1080p as system setting.
So, it seems that some game have problems with resolution change in game booster.
3D rendered games seems so work with a resolution change, but some of my 2D games (like mario run) dont work with a resolution change.
Moreover:
Is antialiasing on, when the slider is on the left (greyed out) or the right (green)? (The description is a bit confusing).
Moreover do you see a optical difference between on and off? I cannot see a difference.

Screen Recorder feature missing on Gamer Launcher on Note 10/10+

Samsung have removed the Video record feature in Game Launcher, I know they have dedicated Screen Record feature in the quick launch now, but its very clunky to implement/activate when your playing a game.
I did post something about it on the EU Samsung Community boards titled "Screen Recorder feature missing on Gamer Launcher on Note 10/10+" -I'm not able to post link here)
Does anyone know how I could launch the Screen Recorder as if it were an App (not via the quick launch button) ? (so that I could add/map it in the Game Launchers Pop-up panel)
Cheers
