Battery very good, game i dont play but he is very powerful so dont problem for game ^^
Battery life is very good. I can play heartstone for hours.

The phone is not only good but excellent...loading times are super fast and due to its speed my rating improved.... Full screen and large battery...i cant say a bad word...honestly the best gaming phone for the money...
Hint: doesnt even warm up when gaming havily...

Not tried any games but it's an emulation beast. Been playing gamecube/Wii and 3ds games with no trouble at all. Since its a current flagship chip, you can almost guarantee it will play any game made for android fine.
I bought the F2 Pro(8/256) to replace my Exynos S20 Ultra(12/128)... Only Cons are the speakers and sometimes the camera... The rest is insane... For half the price of the S20U its just pure insanity...
Like the previous poster started, playing COD for hours and still not much heat. On my OnePlus 7pro you could damn near cook on it doing the same and battery would zap drastically.

Miui 6 is not for gaming i am on Miui 6 right now.. again same question frm my side..

What difrence betwen art and dalvik...and can it effect the performanxe of gaming...and also can it be changed in any rom

you can get huge boost in gaming performance by reducing the resolution
using some resolution changing app
i personally use nomone resolution chnager and switch to template of any 1280 x 800
that makes some of the games playable like assain creed pirates, nova and modern combat
they lag way too much on normal resolution
that said i still think this thread should be moved to general section.

Art is a newer library for android.... Android L works totaly on art library. Its a little unstable on kk devices, but I haven't had any problems so far...
To switch to art runtime, go to developer options and then select libart.so in runtime.
This option isn't in miui but in my case miui alrefy gives gd performance.
It has great performance.... I've played nova 3, completed modern combat 4 and 5, and dead trigger 2 asphalt 8 and many other such games.... Try it....and do tell me how it works...

However if you want a good camera, then you must go for the LG but i think the Mate is better in other aspects.

I looked at the LG V10 and the Mate 8 - I went for the Mate at as it has a better frequency range in the UK.
It is amazingly fast (coming from a one plus one) - Not having an apps folder is a little odd but ok
I have only found one actual problme so far - I can't figure out how NFC works!

Don't personally have it yet.
From friends and such my feedback is that it is bloody fast and smooth. CPU is also really good.
Gaming sometimes has some issues for some people but only on demanding games which im sure isnt device related but game related (works perfectly for others for all games)
Also the camera issue you mentioned has been improved already, still not great though, but rest assure they are trying very hard at the moment to get that fixed.

Recently my daughter crashed her Samsung Galaxy S4 mini phone. I started to look for some decent replacement. Decent I mean: 2GB RAM, at last quad core processor, memory card slot, Lollipop on board
Problem is that she has really small hand so the phone cant by big. After looking for few days I was very surprised, that there is almost no offer in this range - most producers moved to 5"-5.5" range.. I found only Samsung A3. Other mini phones were just rubbish.
Can you advice anything good ? Maybe I missed some phone ?
I know right, I have exactly the same problem. You may want to take a look at Jiayu G5 (if it's still available), or Xiaomi Redmi 2. Both have quad core processors, memory card slots, although no Lollipop. Xiaomi Redmi 2, depending on the version, has 2 GB RAM.
I heard great things about the Moto E as well, though that's really a budget phone (albeit not that much cheaper) with Lollipop, low MP camera (which she may deem important to know), but only 1 GB RAM.
That market is difficult.

It is on my short list. My wife has Redmi 3 and it is pretty good phone. Battery endurance is shocking.
But Redmi 2 i pretty wide: 67 mm while S4 mini was only 61 mm

She was usually able to kill battery in her previous Samsung galaxy s3 i9300 within 1 day. With Redmi 3 she was not able to go below 3 days. Usually lasts 4-5 days. .
She does not play but do heavy web browsing.

Yep. You get 8 core snapdragon with 4000mAh battery, decent built quality. I think it is currently the best deal for 5" phone worldwide.
Just have to root and get rid of chinese crap or load multilanguage developer rom.
It is no worse then my 5.5" Lenovo Vibe P1 costing over 100$ more.

The A3 is more than enough , she's just a girl so i guess she only uses social media apps and some light games , in my opinion the A3 is a pretty good deal.
