hi Guys my apologies for new thread I will try to remove it when I get the answers
tomorrow I will get new P40 pro which probably will be on first firmware /also I wish install G apps
-is good to stay on older firmware ? or i should update it straight
-which tutorial is best to install G apps for this moment as i saw old tutorials are not working -its mean apps stopped working on phones where that was installed
- when G apps will be installed can bee blocked by google (certificates can run out or they can be blocked by google ? )
-any advices for new user ?
best regards to all
quick answer... keep away from g bull**** as much as possible. All apps can be installed from aurora store. There are few threads about alternatives and atleast 10 for gms.if u cant live without gms there are so many phones within p40 pro price range with gms
If you want to install google services use this latest guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p40-pro/how-to/method-google-login-gsm-install-26th-t4168505
It works on older firmware only (v.131) so don't update right away. You might need to downgrade if your firmware is newer. You can update after installing GMS.

Hello
I want to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 , 2014 edition tablet . I live in China and most of the devices blocked the Google Play app.. I have read that the only way to install it is by flashing it with Odin.
If i flash it will i still have the Samsung TouchWizz, Air Commander, S Finder and other specific designed features for the S pen?
Thanks !
After reading some more about the subject i found some answers. It seems that by flashing i can install an european version of the OS which
will avoid any other issues with google apps. It also means i can still have the same original features of the tablet.
What about the updates? When Samsung releases a new update i can install it from their oficial website?
I have also read that by rooting/flashing you can damage or make it unusable How is this possible and how risky it is?
Hello, i have bought a Honor 6 x (PE-TL 10) in germany at amazone.
The firmware is PE-TL10V100R001C900B142. On the huawei homepage i found a firmware B173 but i can't install.
I have tried to unlock the phone but no success. I really would like to root my phone.
I whould appreciate your help!
Sorry for my bad english. :silly:

Well it worked to unlock the phone and to root. The only problem as before is not an update that works.
I suspect that the ROM was made for the european area and therefore the update version of the Chinese server is not working.

Hi, I have a Chinese version and yes, it has NFC. I am on B185 (PE-TL10V100R001CHNC00B185) at the moment but looking for compatible UK or EU version of firmware to get rid of the last of the Chinese characters in some menus. Now they sell this to Three customers, I was hoping to find a UK firmware version, so if you find one let me know too please.

Hi Guys,
I have the same firmware but I can not update .
Also, I have problems with the message about Google Play services has stopped and I can not see when I 'm sailing Maps , so it's disgusting .
I have being taking a look this official website of EMUI http://www.emui.com/plugin.php?id=hwdownload&mod=detail&mid=125. You can download the last stable version, the B173, but I am so stupid to do this. Have somebody tested one of them? How to do?
THank you guys. I need you help. GOogle play services message is the worst.

Download GPS Test from the play store and use it to clear agps data and then get agps data. Fixed the GPS issue for me.
Clear data and uninstall updates for Google play store and Google play services, then delete all Google accounts from the phone. Reboot, add your Google account and log back in to chrome, gmail, etc. This should fix the play services crash. Using G+ sometimes made it start crashing again for me but that was before I did the agps thing and I'm fairly sure the play services crash is a location issue as if you set location to device only and turn off location history it stops popping up.
I've tried your method and It looks like google play services doesn't disturb anymore. However, I will wait several days more...
Thank you!
Somebody has tested the firmwares I told you, guys?
Over the past week I have tried every method found here and on other sides to rebrand, get back to chinese version, back to EU again and I found that I like the chinese more but I can not use it without my google account. I also have tried various methods from here and even the other honor phone forums (honor 8/mate) and succeded in installing a Play store without the gms core problem.. yet I never succeeded in having the chinese firmware with the playstore running and get my paid third party apps runnin which authenticate through google .. my question is: is that even possible? is there anyone who completely merged google and the chinese honor 9 version?

Thank you for the quick reply!
Thats good to hear. what about third party apps? My chrono Trigger role playing game I've invested 80 hrs in fails to authenticate, as does my fitness app. Do you have apps that need google servers to athenticate?
And please tell me, did you intall google via the Google Installer APK v 2.0 and a gms core app, or did you use gapps or another program? May I know which method you used?
Edit: thank you @Kasun72, reading your reply carefully made me Rerebrand back to AL10 and check the peemissions twice which uktimately did it for me! Chinese B190 with full Google Support! Thanks again
Hi guys,
I've bought recently a huawei p40 that comes with ANA-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.154 firmware.
The problem is that I'm aware I must downgrade this firmware so I can flash gapps and have access to the google services.
Does anyone know where I can find a firmware list and, even better, a full tutorial how to install google services on this device?
Thanks in advance!
You are literally on the forum that has the tutorial...and about 3 of them. Not being funny, but...you wrote this without even looking through the lists.
you can go look at androidhost.ru for your firmware and Follow instructions on one of the forum pages

OMG. Do you really know what you are speaking of?
Looks to me that Google Mobile Services ( GMS ) is the package you want to have on your phone.
Hi, i'm asking about whether rooting the Huawei Y7a and/or any other huawei products banned, whether it allows you to use all google services or not ?
if yes is there any guide available ?

With regards to GMS see post #2 above.
hey so the problem is there are no old firmwares to y7a here anyone got one?
Thinh here- I have the same problem- is that this Huawei Model, y7a (PPA-LX3), comes with EMUI 10.1.1.203 by default, so Googlefier does not work, as its made for 10.1.0.150 and below, and I cannot downgrade mi mother's phone cause there is not an older firmware. There's not "rolling back". And gspace does not work either. Is there any noob friendly way to get Gapps into this phone?

yes there is no firmware to rollback to. but i've been using the device for several weeks and what i identified is that you don't really need google if you need something like a playstore you can install apkpure app which have every app play store have gpace is not recommended and sometimes it gets pretty laggy on devices also if you need you tube you can set up youtube from quick app center it is like a browser version of youtube but it don't suck

Yeah, in the end I tought she's better off without google, at least privacy-wise, so I just debloated her phone and installed cool alternatives to gapps.
