as stated, i got my power button broken probably due to water (not that waterproof huh?). The power button has worked for a few weeks, sometimes it was really sloppy and unresponsive, and stopped completely, and when my battery completely depleted i am now unable to power it on. I am able to get into download mode from where there is an option to restart the phone but of course it requires to press vol down + power button.
Have you got any magic tricks to turn on a turned off s10e with the power button broken ?
Hello! The solution: press volume down + bixby button and now plug usb c data cable (computer->phone), wait 3-5 seconds and phone starting in download mode. From download mode you can restart the phone with volume down button.

up until now i was using Power Button to Volume Button to turn the screen on /off.
the device died on me yesterday, due to low battery and now idk wth to do
Plug it in, hold volume down.
When it goes in download mode use the volume button to choose cancel.
Here's my nexus condition:
It won't turn on, i've tried every possible method; hold power button (10s), hold volume down + power,
volume up + power, volume down + up + power, It still won't turn on.
I connected it to charger and it entered google logo but then off and on for several times. I sometime managed to get
into bootloader mode, but then again it off again.
the interesting part is when i hit my nexus to my palm, it sometimes turn on and enters google logo but then bang,
it's back off again.
Could someone please help me get out of this misery?

Sounds like a problem with the power button.
It should be a problem of power button cause if its has gone inside.. it will always keep shutting your phone
Hello, my phone worked perfectly until i open it by power button pressed youtube and then phone shut down.
I can't power it on by only battery.
I can power it on by 2 sec when i plug charger and then restarts!
If i keep pressing volume down it enters bootloader and after 2 sec restart.
Cause???
Power button failure?
Could be a power button issue. Remove the motherboard from the case, clean around the button with some isopropyl alcohol, quickly press and release the power button using more pressure than normal, put it back into the case, try to boot.
Had the phone to a service and fixed for a 15$

Hello all,
I got this problem with an A51: The phone does not turn on. No fall from hands, no previous problems. I talked 2 times this morning at the phone, put it in my pocket. After a few minutes when i checked my phone, it was closed. It had 72% battery.
What i've tried:
- power button press and hold, does nothing.
- when i press vol down + power, the phone turn on, appears Samsung logo, a51, powered by android. It stays like that approx 20 seconds and it turns off by itself.
- when i press vol up + power, does nothing.
- when i put at charge, only a small vibrate and does nothing but when it is plugged in and i press vol down and power, the charge circle appears and it shows on screen that the phone is charging. in this phase with the phone charged in, i press vol down + power, or vol up + power, and does nothing.
Any solutions?

Hi all.
I was charging my OP7Pro (Android 10 with TWRP) when the screen went white. I tried to reboot it (volume down + power) but it did not and eventually it turned into this (pls see image).
Whether I press power + volume up or power+ volume up + volume down, the screen becomes blank for a second then goes back to this. Power button and power+volume down does nothing.
Most instructions I see here ask for the phone to be turned off but I can’t turn it off. It went off when the battery was empty but I can't charge it anymore and connecting to a PC does not do anything.
Any help regarding this?
