Photo quality - OnePlus 8T Real Life Review

Say "cheese", then rate this thread to express how photos taken with the OnePlus 8T come out. A higher rating indicates that photos offer rich color (without over-saturating), sharp detail (with all subjects in-focus), and appropriate exposure (with even lighting).

oneplus 7t cameras The oneplus 7t portrait mode is much more successful. 8t pulls very pale and lifeless.

OP8T stock camera (PIC #10) for pictures is very pale. Not good. My OP6 and OP7P were better. GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.5 (PIC #4) improves this a lot from a D to an A. Join my Facebook Group for more discussions, i have over 15 different gcam photo examples and 300+ photos.

Need urgent software update for camera features

OnePlus 8T camera is one of the worse mobile camera ever made. I have migrated from Pixel to OnePlus keeping in mind that along with fast charging I'll get some more good stuffs was not at all expecting same camera quality of pixel but I was expecting good as per the brand but I really regret my decision buying OnePlus. If you ask me rating for camera I'll 2/5 (1 for 4 lens and 1 for Pro mode)

[Q] About nexus5 camera HDR mode lead to serious inaccurate white balance problem

LX2 shooting effect is the most close to the naked eye can see.
The next is nexus5 HDR + photo sample
Can be found that dark yellow picture, it is the sun is shining but of old photos made into a near dusk.Continuous shooting many times still has serious white balance is not accurate, not alone.
Here to do a contrast can see understand, above, open HDR +, below to close the HDR +, can be found is turned off, the white balance though drift, but obviously improved a lot.
To open after the HDR + white balance serious drift problem, only through the late PS remedy, below is adjusted during before and after contrast.
Conclusion: the new firmware update this problem before, recommend best when big scenes in the daytime close HDR +
What good method can solve this problem? How to Google response problem?Google engineers will see?

Honor 8X vs Honor 20i/Lite

With Honor’s launch of the Honor 20 series, they included the 20 Lite model which acts as a budget solution for those looking for an entry-level phone in the series. The Honor 20 Lite captures the spirit of the 20 and 20 Pro while compromising on some of the specs in order to keep the price down. Let’s see how this new budget phone stacks up against the Honor 8X, which is another one of Honor’s more popular budget phones.

Both phones are equipped with the Kirin 710 chipset, which makes them great phones for gaming and performance in general. In this area, neither phone is significantly better than the other. App launch speeds and performance are the same.
The one area where these phones are a little different is the camera. While the 20 Lite has a higher resolution camera than the 8X, let’s see if that translates into better quality.
Camera Comparison
These photos show that the Honor 8X has a significantly higher quality camera than the Honor 20 Lite. These improvements are seen in videos, photos, slow-mo, night shots, AI shots and every other aspect of the cameras. Given that all the other specs on these phones are the same, the better camera makes the Honor 8X the superior phone.

Bad quality of text pictures (books, documents, etc)?

Did anyone can confirm that Mi Note 10 take a bad quality photo of text (books, documents, etc) ?
I was using before my 2year old P20Pro and I have to admit that p20pro is making better text quality pictures. Wonder if that's software problem or hardware. Just take a look at samples:
P20 Pro :

Xiaomi Mi Note 10: View attachment 5022533
That pictures were made in same condition, with Auto settings in camera app. Mi Note 10 picture is bigger in MB, but quality i worse than P20Pro, Same when I'm use any kind of PDF scanner app, more details I see on P20Pro photos
This is normal, unfortunately.
Newer larger camera sensors perform poorly at short range. So this is mainly a hardware "issue" that can't really be fixed.
I guess this is why some phones start to come with macro sensors, or use the utrawide camera for closeups since they are still in the 12-16mpix range.
Changing quality option in camera app from high to normal seams to help a little bit in my opinion..

I would not recommend to flash it now, untill we get MSM to make sure we can go back to Oxygen.
What is the point of flashing an inferior Oppo OS?Y
Despite Oppo's flagship having a slightly inferior main sensor, the results are remarkably similar when it comes to detail and zoom One of the significant change that recognizes the Oppo F5 Youth from the F5 is its inferior camera specifications.

Blurry photos on S10e

Hello,
I bought myself a used S10e in last december. First i made rom update (Android 10), root with magisk. The photos from the main sensor were blurry, while those from the wide angle did not have a socket. I changed the autofocus. It improved the photos, but I can see that the photos are blurry on the left side while they are sharp on the right side.
Ways to solve the problem?
thanks in advance

You can try if the latest update to Android 11 will have a positive effect on the stock camera.
But the hardware is limited, so do not expect magic.
I try Google Camera but no improvement
You can see blurry on left side and sharp on right side

my guess is the camera software is blurring out the parts of the scene, because it's having trouble identifying the distance of objects it is seeing. Sort of like how Portrait mode blurrs out the background
