Various issues after reverting to Oxygen OS 10.3.5 from Beta - OnePlus 6 Questions & Answers

Hello!
Hope you are well.
I am using a OnePlus 6 device. I was on Oxygen OS's beta channel (OP6_O2_BETA_35). I reverted to Oxygen OS 10.3.5 last night. Since then, I've been experiencing the following problems:
1. The Gallery app is showing no photos. I can see some photos going in the Download folder in my internal storage through the File Explorer app but those aren't showing in the Gallery app. While updating to 10.3.5, I was shown my files will be wiped but I see them in the internal storage. A few of the flies, namely the files in the Download category, appear in the category page but the internal storage shows a lot more files like the music files (which I thought will be lost) and others which aren't shown on the category page. I can play the music files from the internal storage but I can't play them through Play Music app.
2. The Google Photos app won't open anymore. It crashes right after I click on the icon.
3. Can't seem to take any photos with the default camera. I can open it just fine and click to capture but the captured image is a blurred one. Also, the page gets frozen - I can't zoom or swipe on the photo. And, it doesn't show in the Gallery app.
4. Other apps, for example the GCam Mods, crash right after I capture a photo.
5. Can't save screenshot.
6. Connecting the device to a PC through the data cable doesn't show the device. Rather it only shows that there is a CD Drive folder on the PC; clicking on it results in an instruction to insert a disk.
There may be some other issues that I've not encountered yet. I've taken a few screen recording videos but can't find them now. Please help me resolve these issues. I'm looking forward to your suggestions. I appreciate all the help.

[JB] Gallery crashes upon loading albums [FIX]

Hey guys,
Upon updating both my Transformer Infinity and my SGS2 to Jelly Bean, I noticed that the stock gallery crashed as soon as it was launched. It would open briefly, start loading albums, and then close without an error message. This, I would like to underline, happened on both devices when Jelly Bean was installed - everything was fine in ICS.
After some comparisons, I noticed some incriminating albums that crashed the gallery, so I deleted them from the devices. And voilĂ ! Everything worked like a charm. So while comparing a clean picture with a dirty one (dirty as in, it crashes the gallery as soon as it's loaded), I realised that their EXIF tags were identical... except for Geotagging.
So in short, it turns out JB has an issue with pictures taken with Camera360 with GPS tagging activated. Once you remove those Geotags (with freeware like, say, Batch Purifier), the pictures show up properly and the gallery no longer dies lamentably.
I haven't tried Geotagging with any other application, so I can't be sure whether it's Camera360's own implementation of EXIF GPS tags that send the gallery spiralling or if it happens with other Geotagged pictures.
Anyway, I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Antonius Maximus.

Interesting - the pictures I have taken on my Lumix camera with gps tagging show correctly in the stock album and link correctly to Google maps if you select 'show on map' from drop down dots.
They are on my micro sd card at the moment and the album sees them all quite properly.
I am having issues with my albums in that not all pics are displayed as thumbnails though they are displayed if you click on greyed out square!

[Q] media scan storage for images

My problem is that i'm using another app than the camera to capture video and pictures into the DCIM folder. Thus Android doesn't pickup new pics and video in the DCIM folder.
to fix this, I need to run "dev tools > media provider > scan sd card" to fresh. or reboot he phone to force a refresh each time. Then i'm able to see everything in gallery etc...
Is there a way to force this media scan to happen every 1hr? ie in the build.prop or something? I do have root access..
thanks.
A simple solution would be to use QuickPic. It's better than the stock gallery app in all aspects imho
+1 for QuickPic

Gallery problem on Firmware Stock 4.1.2

I have a problem with my gallery, before when I take a photo or video and not show up on my gallery.
I tried to clear cache, and restart my tab. After that I tried to open gallery and now my gallery was blank. But if I take new photo or video, it can be show on my gallery (only new photos or videos). I check with file manager, my old pictures and videos still at my memory internal and SD card. And still not show on my gallery. I tried 3rd party app gallery and result still same.
Anyone has same problem like me? I try to find solution, but still can't found it

Nexus 5 - Camera App missing on Euclidean 7.0 ROM

I've recently rooted Euclidean 7.0 Nougat ROM on my Nexus 5.
I also checked the app "Google Camera" on Playstore but cannot find it. (Camera app used to appear on AOSP playstore). Neither is it listed in Settings>Apps
Please Help
Same. Although I found it via All My Apps on Play Store. But the app is not working properly. It opens up, but after trying to take a photo, the photo does not save. I get no preview in the gallery either. When I try to record a video, a still image shows on playback and I can listen to the sound only. I tried flashing twice from factory image but no luck. Would like to know a solution to this.

Google photos is not recognizing screenshots folder and uploads it on drive

Hello guys,
Today I got a strange error which I am pretty sure that worked yesterday and before. In my google photos app, I cannot see screenshots folder anymore, instead screenshots are in the Camera folder together with camera photos. I checked and both folders are in DCIM folder on a system, separated, one is "Camera" and one is "Screenshots" folder, but in the app, they are together in one "camera" folder.
In the gallery app, everything works fine, I just want to sync Camera album and not Camera+screenshots album on my drive.
Thanks
No one still?
