You wouldn't by chance have the stock recovery would you? I rooted my tru successfully, but noticed now that my phone is glitchy. If I had the stock recovery, I could get unrooted and root back in time when someone creates a custom rom for this device.

try this recovery. https://mega.nz/#!Y8dAEbaK!syKLrc7p9...KNjPTA9w_j8ffU
did you flash the twrp recovery and had problems with the cache partitions?
idk if we can make a ROM for this device since we cant access the bootloader/fastboot.
UPDATE.
I reverted the download link back to the original one, compiled from Omni source instead of CM due to errors not booting up properly.

Thanks!! It all worked out fine. I didn't have a problem with flashing twrp. I just wanted to make sure I had the stock recovery for later on just in case someone came up with a custom rom for later. Plus things were kinda moving slow so I wanted to go back to stock anyway.

Hello, awesome guide. I am not a pro by any means but I do ok with phones usually. Not this time. I had twrp installed fine, ran the recovery through the program just fine, and when I installed that zip file everything went to hell on a mismatched google file lol. I am not currently stuck at the bootloading screen with a e:failed to mount /system (invalid argument)
e:error opening/data/media/0:no such file or directory.
no package file selected. I dont think I have an os on here lol
Please, any help to get back to the twrp menu would be apppreciated

Go to the KingRoot website and install the APK. (https://kingroot.net) Then something should pop up just press Install Anyways.
To get SuperSU you have use w0lfdroid's KingRoot 2 SuperSU script. Install it via Terminal Emulator.
Or just flash TWRP via Rashr and use the SuperSU zip.
But I'd recommend you to stay with KingRoot since on mines I can't remove SuperSU.

What's new in 3.0.2-0:
Fix a bug with the input box that affected masked inputs (passwords). This fixes decrypt of full device encryption on devices that support decrypt. This bug also impacts encrypted backups. Users are highly encouraged to stop using 3.0.1 if you use encrypted backups or if you need decrypt of data in TWRP.
Add Greek translation to some builds.

i wouldn't recommend trying to run magisk on this device since theres a risk of getting a loop.
I contacted camcory who recommended this modifications would needed to the boot image.

[Recovery] TWRP 3.3.0.0 Nokia 2.1/Nokia 2V (E2M/EVW) Oreo-Only

This is a thread for installing TWRP on the Nokia 2.1/Nokia 2V
Code:
/*

* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

*/
Download:
TWRP 3.3.0.0: Here
Steps to install TWRP:
First of all, you will be required to unlock your bootloader.
You will need to follow this guide for Nokia 2.1 (E2M) or this guide for Nokia 2V (EVW)
then as normal go back to the bootloader and run the following commands
This flashes twrp to recovery
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.0.0-e2m-evw.img
this will boot you to recovery so you don't need to use a key combo
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.3.0.0-e2m-evw.img
Then reboot to recovery in the twrp menu and you are ready to go.
Bugs:
Decryption of data isn't currently supported
Source Code:
Device tree
Kernel Source
Currently this only works if you are on Oreo, i will make a Pie version in the near future.

Did you use the nb1 collision method or fih method?
Thank you so much. It works flawlessly. I wish you made a Pie version as well, but that's probably being such a leech.
I just had to downgrade from Pie and I'll stick with Oreo until you decide to work on Pie release ?. Thanks again.
How do I downgrade from Android Pie to Android Oreo without a PC? I am on a Nokia 2v TA-1136 btw
Can I unlock bootloader in nokia 2 using same method?

The TWRP developers are trying to get A12 decryption working but without success so far. Once they manage to do this then work on TWRP 12 for all devices can begin.

Working :
Basic twrp features
partially dual boot (different rom can be boot on both slots but still share same userdata, recommend to use fastboot method)
Decryption only support for stock rom (due to different decryption type)
otg / sdcard
Issues / Notes :
all changes from fbev2 version are present in this twrp
you can flash custom rom without any problem, but you need to use fbev2 twrp for access data
support android 10 (tested on xq-as52) up to latest firmware
if you're using custom rom, use THIS twrp for decrypt data
Big thanks :

Hello. The new Lineage OS is out at https://github.com/arian-ota/ota/releases. Flash it. I'll try it tomorrow morning.
Cool , so kenvyra udate is near
I already tried to install it today. Lineage goes. But can't flash Gapps. I tried four Gapps and none of them installed. TWRP reports error 1

Wait for GMS version.
Flashing gapps on this vanilla build is complicated, because the partition needs resizing.
