I installed gsm but now i cant get WhatsApp notifications only if i get into the app i see the messages, please help! (bettery automatic mange turn off)

I was wondering if it was possible to get my Windows Phone to vibrate on toast notifications... Any hack?
I'd especially like to have my WP to vibrate when I receive facebook notifications or message...

Going for the obvious, but you do have vibrations turned on in the Settings right?
I know FB notifications don't get sent as toast, and thus don't vibrate, but other apps (BBC News Mobile's for example has a Breaking News) that get sent via toast and my phone vibrates when it arrives.
The new Facebook Application does delivery notifications as toast message, so it makes the phone vibrate/ring everytime it gets the notification.

I own a Vodafone Smart 2 (rooted, Stock ROM). I usually have the Internet turned off and I only turn it on (WiFi) on the night at home. When I turn on the Internet, my phone starts receiving lots of notifications from Facebook Messenger. It receives one notification per message, even if I've already read it before on another device. The phone keeps ringing for like 30 seconds and then it stops. If there are unread conversations, the notification stays on the bar; otherwise if I have read it before, it rings but then disappears from the bar.
Any idea on how to stop notifications of messages that I've read before? Any suggestion is welcome! Thank you.

How can i make my device wake up when i receive a whatsapp notification, it works fine for other apps (aqaumail, textra) but for whatapp the notification is there, the device vibrates and the led works; but the screen dosnt turn on.
I was wondering if someone could please help me figure this out.

could anyone help me? MY S7 has stopped sending me notifications for text message arrivals.
I am using the standard app which worked fine, now doesn't notify at all. Neither notification or signal or blue LED.
Message notifications are all turned in in settings.
I also use whatsapp which notifies fine as does facebook messenger.
Anyone help at all thx?

I had an S8+ and Whatsapp was set to show the badge if there was a message or group message only (no vibrate or sound) and worked flawlessly. I got an S10 about a month ago, and I have set it to silent + no vibrate (both in Whatsapp notifications and on system settings) but it keeps vibrating when I get a message. The system settings keep reverting back to 'sound and vibrate' every couple days so I keep changing it to 'silent + no vibrate'. But even when it's set to this, it still vibrates!!
It really annoys me, as I only want my phone to vibrate for calls, messages and emails, not Whatsapp.
Any ideas how to fix this? I've uninstalled and reinstalled Whatsapp and it didn't fix it. I've done all software updates as well.

HI James, I still want an icon at the top of my screen when I have a message - I just don't want the sound or vibration.

There are three different settings for vibration in whatsapp: Messages, Groups and Calls. Have you tried disabling all of them?
