TMobile SIM unlock - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

So after hours of trying to unlock this brick, I didn't succeed.
I've deleted modemst1 and modemst2, this rendered the device without imei, wifi and bluetooth. After creating the partitions all returned to normal, including sim lock, so the method from OnePlus 6T doesn't work with us.
And there's an app inside called com.oneplus.factorymode.qualcomm.ClearTelcelnetlock that just refuses to open.
If anyone managed to unlock it, please help me out.
Note: I can't unlock through Tmo since I'm not the original owner and I can't contact the previous one.

[Q] sim locked samsung sgh-i927r

My sgh-i927r got sim locked for the second time. Earlier i got it repaired at a shop...
It keeps on asking "ENTER NETWORK LOCK CONTROL KEY"
This time I deleted 'nv_data.bin' and '.nv_data.bak' files from 'efs' folder as suggested on a post here at XDA.
This unlocked the phone but due to the generic IMEI i still cannot use calls, but the packet data is working fine.
When i replace the backed up files in 'efs' folder the phone again gets locked...
Is there any other way of unlocking it with the original IMEI no.??
As far I'm aware the original IMEI is now obsolete as far as unlocking the phone is concerned.
We only unlock phones using codes so unfortunately I can't really help with the rest of your post.

sim unlock possible? UK Vodafone

Sooo,
I bought a used vodafone moto g 1st gen naively expecting to have an easy sim-unlock available in the forums - maybe I haven't found it yet?
The online unlock code vendors I tried have refunded me saying they can't do my IMEI so I'm a bit stuck.
I flashed cyanogen hoping a new kernel would do the magic but I guess the simlock is in a different partition?
I see that a couple years ago http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2903823 some were considering how the sim unlock modified the utag partitions. Does anyone know of further progress, information or solutions to sim unlock a moto g?
Or has anyone found a vendor that has successfully provided a UK vodafone sim unlock code?
P.S. Will I need to revert to the stock rom and kernel to use a sim unlock code?
The official Vodafone UK unlock service should work: https://www.vodafone.co.uk/vodafone-uk/forms/unlock-code-request/
Thanks Professor Gibbins.
Unfortunately the Vodafone unlock process asks for the vodafone number that has been used with the phone. Perhaps it would work if I got a pay-as-you go SIM from them and then provided that number.
Fortunately I tried paying a third unlock code vendor - sim-unlock*.net - waited a couple days and they came through with a valid code. I had started with the cheapest ebay vendors, so maybe they just weren't legit?
In any case, if someone else is in similar circumstances, here's what I learned:
There doesn't seem to be any other solution for sim unlocking the moto G xt1032 than purchasing an unlock code from an online vendor or, in the case of you being the original owner, from the network you purchased the phone from
Having a couple online vendors say they cannot get you the code does not mean another cannot
Neither unlocking the bootloader, installing a different recovery (TWRP), nor flashing a Cyanogen ROM will help Sim unlock the phone
The code provided by the online vendor did not work when I had Cyanogen installed. Fortunately I had created a backup of the vodafone ROM (using TWRP) and restoring their android version/kernel allowed the code purchased online to sim unlock the phone
Finally, the SIM unlock done in the vodafone system was maintained after restoring my Cyanogen install. I hope this means the sim/network lock will not return. It might perhaps resurface if I did a system restore; hopefully then the same unlock code would work again?

Once the unlock is done via an UNLOCK CODE, or via hardware unlocking tools, then it is permanent, so you shouldn't need to worry about this at all, but that said, in case you experience SIM un-/lock issues, then reuse the code when trying to unlock the phone on an OEM-DISTRIBUTED ROM (stock ROM).

Imei lost in rom installation, unable to recover

I got this phone on ebay, it was listed as "broken with a clean imei and unlocked" but when I got it, what I received was a "clean" imei, as in the imei wasn't there. I was able to recover the imei in other devices, but here on this device I can't, no matter how hard I try, enable diag mode or, in that case, do anything to come close to modify the imei code. It is written on the back of the phone, and I even opened the phone itself, in order to check if some modem cables were disconnected (which isn't the case). I hope that I didn't get the category wrong, and that you can help me. I was thinking of restoring the phone to stock fw, but I don't think it will change anything. For additional info, every code that i found online crashed my phone, and writing *#06#* returns a blank screen with only "imei" and no actual code. Thanks again in advice, please help me.
Settings, about phone, imie 1 and 2 should show

I don't need to see it, i need to edit it, since it doesn't exist in the phone, it has been erased
Flash stock rom again
most of the replays are pointless. the efs partition is wiped. You need something to rewrite the efs partition to restore imei.

u should backup ur modemst1 and modemst2
then erase modemst1 and modemst2 and fsg
thene write imei using QCN
Just as I tought, I recovered from it installing the stock fw but now, I've got the error that I was scared of; The network locked error. If someone knows how to network unlock a (probably not payed off) OP7 Pro 5g from sprint, then please let me know. I didn't know all these things when I bought the phone, but now I can't send it back at the other side of the world

Modemst1 and 2 possible sim unlock tmobile

So I'm playing around. I've tried th 6t unlock method and so Far I've managed to get the sim lock dialouge to not show. But no sim is reading. I need some one to give me a copy of modemst1 and 2.from a unlocked or international device to try.
BTW zeroing these does not wipe imei. So imei is stored somewhere else
I've had a lot of help from another user. And we both are in agreement the device is unlocked. Just not reading the sim. Most definitely a qcn issue now
As a further note if we cna figure this out we will have free unlock on device itself no waiting on others. No server
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/modemst1 of=/sdcard/
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/modemst2 of=/sdcard/
Should be all I need for now. If possible a set from t-mobile and a set from international device
oneplus nord n200 qcn file please.

Another TMO unlock question.

Hello! Sorry for a maybe duplicated thread, but being honest these posts haven't clarified my doubt.
Is there a way to unlock TMO carrier? im on Mexico and i have no access to TMO network, i don't know if this phone was totally paid, etc, etc, etc.
Unlock app says my phone doesn't meet the unlock requirements, but apparently my imei isn't blacklisted by carrier.
if there's a way to unlock, brick the modem partition or get a paid service, if there's also someone that haves a Oneplus 7 pro that doesn't uses anymore that can share with me the modem partitions, or haves a unlocked motherboard (logic or w/e) for selling (and ofc, haves intl sending), let me know!
i bricked the modemst1 modemst2 partitions and i got rid of the unlock advice, but i get no signal, also i dont lost the IMEI, and OEM Unlock can be applied without flashing DP3 first.
modemst partitions are apparently flashable via fastbootd, so im probably needing someone to donate me their modemst partitions from a unlocked variant or a TMO Unlocked. in advance, thank you! c:
