I think I bricked my Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro). I installed LuckyPatcher to disable disable signature verification. When I LuckyPatcher rebooted, I got stuck in a bootloop (the phone booted to Fastboot instead of System). I now want to format data in my TWRP to flash a new ROM and start from scratch. However, when I format data I get the following error in my TWRP: Failed to mount 'system_root' (Read-only file system).
I tried unsuccessfully tried fixing it by starting Terminal in TWRP and typing "mount -o rw,remount /system". I get "mount: can't find /system in /etc/fstab. with "mount -s system", I get a bunch of text but nothing that makes sense to me.
I hope somebody can help me out here...I just bought it :crying:

I had this problem a few days ago. To solve it, I had to reflash the rom (without formatting any partition) from twrp, ignoring the errors. (I'm on xiaomi.eu stable rom)
The important thing is to never modify the system partition (via lucky patcher or other tool) after installing Magisk, otherwise the phone won't reboot.

Look the picture, I reflashed the rom with twrp. I still get the error cannot mount.
I see that some people have solved it by external rom installation, using adb sideload? How do I do that?

It's impossible. Now i use this ROM and when i install it, i can't see this error. Please delete and replace ROM on your SDcard and try again. Don't forgot make factory reset.
This problem may be due to interruption of replace. You can't get some error's when you replace ROM?

TWRP-saga-2.8.7.0-unofficial.img is the recovery for normal saga ROM. On the other hand TWRP-recovery-sagaopt-2.8.7.1.img is the recovery for sagaopt ROM. So it is depending on which type of ROM are you going to flash. You could notice the type of ROM by their name whether it is saga or sagaopt. This ROM is saga I guess so you have to use saga recovery. Please do not mix them up, otherwise it will not work. Thanks.

Did you solve the problem yet? you may try to delete TWRP folder in your internal and external storages they will reboot twrp and required your permission to write again when you go to recovery mode next time. and it will be flashable (as my experience)

As the title reads, My Poco X3 has gotten stuck in a bootloop after an attempted ArrowOS update. I think it's the May update, and from other posts on this forum, it seems this is a not a one-off issue. I tried updating my phone by downloading the latest ArrowOS update and firmware for the PocoX3 (firmware from Xiaomi firmware updater) through TWRP (Unofficial) by @mauronofrio.
But this put me into a bootloop of sorts that would boot straight into fastboot. I then booted into TWRP, and it spat out a bunch of errors (Mind you these are not the exact errors I got):
Code:
E: Unable to update logical partition: /odm
E: Failed to mount '/vendor'
E: Unable to decrypt FBE device
...
E: Failed to mount /tmp/com.android.resolv.apex to loop device /dev/block/loop16
E: Unable to open loop device: /dev/block/loopNUM
I then tried to wipe everything with TWRP, no change. Then I try to make a fresh install by using the fastboot version of the latest version of MIUI. Now, the phone is in an actual bootloop. I reinstall TWRP and boot into it, and luckily there are less errors, but there are still the ones about the /odm partition and being unable to decrypt the FBE device, whatever that is.
I'm out of ideas for this, any ideas as to why my phone is doing this?

Thanks a lot!
I had heard of this xiaomi flash tool but I was suspicious of it as I couldn't find anyone linking it in XDA.
I've installed it and used it to flash MIUI to get back to stock, and luckily this time it worked!
On a slightly unrelated note, do you have any idea why that update to ArrowOS broke my phone? I'm curious on what happened, if it was a user error on my part or the devs fault somehow.
disable dm verity must be installed before updating.
How to back up the Xiaomi 12 including the system and internal storage data - that is, the entire phone.

Take a look at this:

so if any errors occur, provide recovery.log right after the error

yes, most likely corrupt file system. my guess is unreadable file. recovery.log will tell file name failed.

You don't have to modify the system, just format the data type yes, reboot Twrp and try, if that's not enough, flash a stock rom with Miflash then the latest Twrp and try.
Hello. And I did what I did but I couldn't find the backup and restore error in TWRP. I formatted the data, installed new firmware. I keep getting the same error. It's not even for service. I guess I'll go to Motorola
