Hi there,
I am from NZ and I imported a Snapdragon model of Note 20 Ultra 5G from Hongkong or Taiwan. The model number is SM-N9860
I have my contacts saved at either using the country code +64 or by just adding a 0 in front.
In my previous phone, both of these styles just worked fine and the name used to display when someone called me. However, now....it's so random. Some of my contacts call me and all that is displayed is a number. Does anyone have a solution for this annoying problem?
In short, I am needing to edit the contact details of my saved contacts
Thanks

I had this problem when I flashed Firmware CHC (Open China), I believing same is the problem in BRI (Taiwanese) Firmware as well. Flash yourn phone with latest TGY ) Hong Kong firmware and it will be fine.

Thanks a lot for your response. This seems logical as you have correctly identified BRI and all
I am keen on flashing it with TGY Firmware. But before that, I would like to know the possible implications of doing that. And then I would like to know the process if you don't mind please

No problems you will face, not even Knox will trip and void your warranty. Download official TGY from Samfirmware.com and flash it through odin.
Also TGY is a kind of international version like firmware. You'll love it.

I am not a tech-savvy person
What's the difference in TGY and BRI? What would I love about TGY?
And how do I change the firmware. There are not enough tutorials on YouTube
Thanks
Hi guys,
My mom recently bought Galaxy A12, I still remember times when we are able to record our voice calls until Google made update on his Android but, Galaxy A12 have built in system recording
Is it possible that phone from middle-lower range have that upgrade, because I can't finde it on my Note 20 Ultra
Native voice call-recording is usually region specific.
My Note 20 Ultra (HK varaint with Taiwan stock ROM) had NCR.
Still does on Chinese stock ROM.
Another way to get NCR is to root & install FireFDS kit via LSPosed.
elmor0: hi bro. I have actually stock rom with TGY csc. I have Honk Kong rom instaled and NCR not working, I try instaled your BRI csc i will let you know if it works. I wanna NCR its a good feature
Ok i cant instal other csc through odin. After flash is always same at TGY :/
Hello,
I ordered Snapdragon version from Wondamobile.
I received a version of SM-S9080 - HongKong
What are my options for changing CSC and turning on call recording?
It's unsuccessful with Samkey
Thanks for any help!
Kinda want to revive this thread as I have the same model, Spay works here with TGY official ROM, but no call recording, don't really need it but would be nice to know if it could work on SM-S9080.
It probably won't work without root. At least from my experience with N9750. It allows only TGY and BRI CSC and none of them contains call recording. I've only read about someone who was able to flash CHC file here on XDA thread.
Hi. I bought my S22 Ultra in Poland, I live in UK. Samsung pay refuse to work as the phone is from Poland.
It is on OXM firmware with EUX CSC.
I want to set the region csc for UK.
I read that Samkey does not support CSC change for S22 Ultra with June patch.
Any other way to do it?
Maybe this

Totally works with suggested samfirm tool 3.31 I'm Australian an changed from XSA to INS I now have call recording faster OTA firmware updates and nothing not working it's a very simple process using that software and costs nothing.

If you're on Android 13, Try this ROM: It can patch the CSC on the 9080 to enable call recording: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...rom-module-for-all-s22-i-dr-ketan-rom.4414933
It will not work on Android 12

Hi, I tried to install the Dr Ketan ROM (starting from the Hong Kong Firmware), but it resulted in a bootloop on my 9080...
Did you manage to get the Dr Ketan ROM to run?
And if yes, what was the base firmware&CSC you used for the installation?
Yes, you would need Android 13
