HI
My Xperia z3 battery has been swealed and since that happened touch screen in the middle of the screen is not working properly.
Is it because of the pressure that the battery is putting on the screen and will replacing the battery fix it or not?

Hi guys.
I broke my touchscreen.
So I bought a new one but after changing, all four lower BUTTONS do not work and I can't access to the status bar... IN fact the top and bottom of the screen doesn't respond.
The rest of the screen seems to work normally.
Any help ? Thanks

U replaced screen from htc?????

open it an try to carefully reinsert touch connector.
if you don't know what to do then watch this and at 1:18 you'll see the conector. the big one.
Maybe it's the touchscreen who is defected ?
Cause I've reinsert so many time this connector...
But it's really wierd cause I can scroll the screen...
Can we recalibrate the touchscreen of our pico ?

I just replaced a broken screen on my moto g (broken glass, but display+touch was OK).
Once reassembled, the screen remains black, but the backlight is working and the phone is booting (I can even see its content via usb).
I also tested with old broken screen but it's the same.
I even found a thir lcd to test, and same result.
Does anybody already experienced same thing (I think yes, because I saw such comments in disassembling videos).
Does it mean I damaged something on the mainboard ??? what could it be ?

Yes, same problem here. Anyone have any ideas ?
i had the same problem with my moto g and the problem was the screen brightness was turned right down, so best thing to do is try goto top of screen with your finger and try scroll down and swipe across where the brightness bar is, (if you get what i mean lol)

I decide to recommend a new screen but still the same problem!

First of all i dont know if this is the right forum for my question. If not so please notice me.
After my Z5 dropped on the floor i got an broken Display. I bought a new Display and changed it, but i think i broke the LCD-Flexcable after i pulled carefully on it to get it inside the case. The effect is after phone turn on i get only the backlight but the screen remains black. So for a test i switched my old broken display in it but the effect is the same, only backlight and black screen. After a few seconds the phone led blinks 3 times red and the phone restarts. What the heck is now? Anybody get the same case? I handled the mainboard with care, dont remember to damaged the connector in anyway. Does the Flexcable needs to be protected with a tape so it couldnt be grounded on someway?

After a second and a third display swap the error is still the same. It seems somehow i damaged the motherboard. I swapped the phone against a new one.

To start with ... i had a cracked screen and power button not working on my xperia z3 dual D6633
so i ordered the flex and lcd
i replaced them
however, everything seems to work except that the display stays black
the backlight doesnt even seem to light up
i tried turning on the phone
and it switched on
everything i tested worked, that is
digitizer .. i can touch to take calls etc
speakers
mic
buttons
wifi
network
all these are working
....
it is only the screen that is not displaying anything
tried the last lcd that worked but not working also
can any one please help me
