Rattling inside phone - Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) Questions & Ans

Does anyone else notice rattling when placing the phone on a hard surface like a table?
By rattling mean clicking noises, like something was broken inside. I read that phones with OIS cameras have this noise, but since the Poco F2 Pro doesn't have those, I find it strange.
The phone has not been dropped or damaged in transport (the box was not damaged).

I haven't encountered such issue. Perhaps you have a defective one. Have it replaced immediately while you can.

I dont have that either. You probably have a defective one.

I found out what is the reason for the rattling... it's the cheap volume button, which makes noise when putting the phone down on a surface. It seems it is a bit loose.
From all the phones I had recently, I find the physical buttons on the PocoF2 the worst. Uneven clicks - volume down is super loud on click, and each button feels different.
I had a Pixel 4a for a few days recently, and it also had really "clicky" buttons, but at least they were even.

I feel volume buttons are louder than power button

Irritating Creak / Snap Noise When Pressing Call Button

I have a Sprint Touch Pro. It makes this annoying snapping sound when pressing down on the call button on the bottom left hand corner, as if the chrome faceplate isn't completely or loosely screwed into the black under-pinning piece. Does anyone else have this issue?
I have a similar problem

My keyboard makes a cheap creaking noise when I type. If I press the battery cover in the area around the camera, I hear the same noise. Is there any simple fix for this, it's pretty annoying.
Otherbeing, I think what you hear is the crackle from the speaker....I have it too!
battery noise
for a simple fix to the battery noise, (this is gonna sound really cheap)
fold up a piece of paper and put it on the battery and then put the back cover on... it works...
might take you two or three tries to get the right size and set, but once you have it down, its easy,
and yea it works... (yes i know this is really cheap sounding)

Rattling volume keys

Is anyone experiencing the same as I am?
The volume buttons attached to the back cover are loose, they move about 1mm to every direction and make a rattling noise if I shake the phone or lay it down on a table. Not the quality I got used to in my Nexus One in 1.5 years.
It is the only thing physically wrong on my Sensation, the growing hate towards the Sense is worth another topic though.
I also had some rattling on my volume keys. It was very annoying but it is an easy fix. Just take out the back cover and you will see that volume points on the phone are flat squared points. You can cut some scotch tape that fits on those volume points. I did about two layers on volume up and one layer of tape on volume down. No more rattling anymore!
Not going to tape my 800$ phone :S after a good night sleep I'm facing the hard decision of returning this one...

[Q] Tapping on upper middle of screen makes rattle vibrate sound like something loose

Do any of you have this issue?
When you tap on the middle upper of the tablet a little bit hard it causes a vibrate clicky loose sound like the components behind are loose?
I only noticed it today and im sure it wasn't like this before or if it was not so prominent.
Im out of my retailers return window so if anything needs to be fixed I'll have to go to samsung.
The device functions ok but im just a little concerned the screenis coming loose or thr digitizer..thevibration clicky sound is quite annoying and i can't remember if it used to be there i think it might as directly behind where it rattles is the camera and above the battery and speakers. I just hear and feel a vibrating rattling sound which annoys me and feels like the build is poor. Can you guys try tapping the middle upper of your tablet quite hard or moderqtely and see if you have same issue?
What do you think has happend screen coming loose?
I think the resistive and conductive layers of the screen have come loose from the hard tapping.
If i hold down the middle of the screen and release it makes a 'sticky' sound. What is likely to happen if this continues?
From reading it says the resistive and conductive layers come in constant contact meaning it. Ould misinterpret commands.
Is it possible the screen is just loosened from the digitizer or is it more likely the 2 layers of resisitive and conductive layer are loose?
Does anyone know what this is?
It is so annoying in certain parts of the screen it seems to be looose hence the tapping. Is the glue loose or the screen coming apart?
If i lie it flat on a table there is less rattling when i type but when i put it in my case to hold it up the clicky rattling sound is more im just worried it's going to collapse at some point. Can anyone fathom what might be causing this?
It feels like the creen has come loose slightly in certain parts of the screen as if i tap on the opposite side across the screen it seems to c9rrect this issue for a few secs which leads me to think the screen is coming loose
Ive just realised now it's the back cover which is loose or the insides.
It seems by me pressing down on the front screen too much and the back of the tablet not completely heald down on a flat hard surface t has somehow caused the back cover to come loose of the parts inside have come loose by being forced back slightly.
Does anyone guess what is hppening?
When i flip over the tablet and press the back and tap the back cover on the right side it sounds loose and if i press on it there is some give like there is some space.
So ive identified what is thr cause of this and it's that my case which has rubber corners which hold it against the back of the backbpard leaves a gap between tge tablet and the backboard of the case cover. When i tap the screen too hard it causes a flex ehich unfortunately has caused the tablettobend and push the motherboard and insides onto the back cover which hss now flexed and stretched i presume? Or it has xaused the components to dislodge and misplace, can the back cover actually stretch this much?ithought it wad hard pladtic that retains its shape
I heard the tab s creaks also but mine is the back cover has stretched out fr8m within not holding the components snuggly if that makes sense. What is the fix for this?

K1 Speaker may be faulty

Just wanted to ask if anyone who has the K1 about their speakers
I feel on my unit the sound coming out of the top speaker is louder than the bottom speaker is that normal? for example at max volume I can feel the vibration of the sound from the top speaker but not the bottom.
Also I can make the bottom speaker frame click by pressing on it like the plastic is slightly separating (This in particular is concerning) but I wanted to see if it was a manufacturing thing I cba RMA'ing for a replacement just for that to have the same issue.
It happens when you press on the top of the bottom speaker with your thumb kinda like jiggling a tooth you'll hear it and feel it move.

speaker are ok for me..
About the clicking it depends..
On mine it's not the speaker that move but a little click came from the rear tablet panel...but it's definitively not faulty...only normal plastic assembly

I've got the clicking when pressing around speaker grills on both top and bottom edges. Not sure what to think about it but I don't like it. Might return it and keep the Dell 7840.

Anyone else got mushy buttons?

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone else has mushy-feeling buttons, especially the volume buttons? They make a very slight 'click' but take a little more effort than I'd expect to adjust. I've kinda got used to them but wondered if it's normal?
Cheers
Mine take a bit more effort to push than I expected.
I've contacted Google and they've offered an RMA so I'm guessing mushy buttons are a manufacturing defect. Hopefully my replacement will be free of this.
I swapped my white Pixel 2 for a black one and the buttons are much better.
I have a Pixel 2 with the clicking sound problem that I RMA'd for another device, which did not solve the issue.
I did notice that the bottoms, espcially volume bottons were different on the two. The original device had a little bit softer buttons with less of a click. The second device had firmer buttons with a louder click. I actually like the softer buttons better. I would not call them mushy. There is still a definite click when you depress them.
This may not be a hardware defect but just a variance in the hardware. They probably have a tolerance range of what is acceptable. Still, I ws surprised that there was a pretty noticeable difference between the two devices.
A bit mushy out of the case for sure. With the fabric case on, they are very clicky.
