Hi guys,
I have a oneplus 7 pro and I have a question related to the persist partition.
If I inadvertently corrupt the persist partition and had previously made a full backup of all partitions with TWRP, if i restore the persist partition with TWRP, will i lose the Widevine L1 anyway?

Hi there, I have a MotoG and I'm just wondering which is the equivalent to Samsung EFS partition (where phone IMEI is store) in order to create a backup just in case because days ago a friend of mine lost their Samsung Galaxy S4 due to bad SO upgrade (some Wifi issues and voala phone hasn't IMEI and isn't recoverable) so where is the partition I should backup and which tool I can use to do this?
Originally it was believed the equivalent partitions was "PDS," however this has turned out to be the case. You could try backing up all partitions with something like Partitions Backup & Restore. None essential partitions include: System, Data, and Boot.
Bootloader is stored in a non-user-accessible partition - it's quite possible IMEI is saved in a similar way. Even with a backup of all partitions, you may not be able to recover IMEI.
The main (only?) way people loose IMEI on Moto G is by running the fastboot command: fastboot erase all
IMEI recovery research is being done here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/info-moto-g-imei0-t2925970
Hello,
I was converting my data partition to f2fs, but forgot that this will erase my whole internal storage.
Is it possible to recover any data? At least part of the data?
I didn't boot my device yes to not overwrite deleted data.

Hi,
What are the partitions which should be backed up after rooting OP8?
Since TWPR is not available for Android 11, I guess have to be done manually.
Already taken backup of persist partition, anything else? are there not EFS partition anymore ?
do i have to unencrypt my device in order to restore/backup and maybe even flash from on it? I've seen in twrp it tells me backups and restores may not work fully due to being encrypted
No, I guess.
The only partition encrypted is your internal storage and twrp can't take a backup of that.
So, you can try by yourself, just remember to take your cautious.
in old devices I always made a backup of this partitions:
Boot
System
Data
Vendor
And restored without problems, just make a factory reset before and maybe flash magisk after restoration
