Many of us flashed it through fast boot mode, its risky, and also erases internal storage
So here is simple method
I did not develop this, its just a twrp backup
This build is much superior to buggy cyanogen os 5.02
FEATURES
Vanilla android, no fancy stuff

Wake gestures to various applications (eg.draw e when screen is off to wake into browser)

HOW TO INSTALL
Unzip, transfer the folder into twrp backup folder
Go to twrp recovery and restore

Don't bother, its already rooted

Bro i have some confusion.... As this is stock vanilla android... Does it need small updates?

So far it is working smooth.... Just installed....
its really good not to have ANY BLOATWARE ,,, plus its rooted,,, and also google apps are there...

I am using it in YUPHORIA bought from flipkart......
And if i am not mistaken there is no YUPHORIA outside of India....

Its the basic architecture of the os, you can read in Wikipedia in detail if you are interested

You probably flashed a long version of xposed

after installing stock rom, will I be getting updates directly from Google and for how many months I'll get it.?

Me too was having same problem, But i went into TWRP recovery and did a factory reset, and guess what, Now it works like a charm. :angel:

Hi, i installed this backup on ,my yu5010. It is working great. But it is showing OTA update. whenever i download, installation fails due to twrp recovery.
So can you upload a fresh updated TWRP backup for yu5010 ?
Also compass is not there in this backup and statusbar is not proper. How can it be fixed?

First you need to revert back to Miui version 6.6.10 or 5.6.11 or 5.7.13 before flashing...

Thanks It worked.
Earlier i flashed miui v7.0.3.0, but it didn't work, but after flashing v6.6.10, it worked nicely. Although i was getting some other problems too, but its now solved.

How can I enable 'Now on Tap' on this rom cm13 ?
When i enable it in google app, it shows 'Unfortunately, Google App has stopped', and then after I hold the home button, it doesn't work.

Choosing the right gapps package is important... Using latest 6.0 ARM64 gapps by OpenGapps works, try using that...

It worked when i flashed open-gapps-arm64-6.0-mini. But i downloaded aroma and super versions, just to find out 1. aroma gets freeze on TWRP, 2. Mi4i doesn't have much system space for installing the super version. :silly:

I think it's a problem with the xposed app. Click the save button and then go into a file manager to install them.
Edit: I believe this is the old Xposed Installer app

The Magisk or systemless version of Xposed SDK24 doesn't work on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (G935F). If you flash the Magisk version via TWRP or dvdandroid's Xposed Installer, you're gonna end up in a bootloop. Since the Magisk-uninstaller also doesn't work on the S7 Edge (G935F), you'll pretty much have to restore your last backup or reflash your ROM. It only works through the regular install method to /system/.
Also, keep in mind that if you have Xposed installed on /system/, you're always going to fail SafetyNet test and currently there is no way to hide it from SafetyNet.

But here's my concern...without a custom recovery, how do we recover from a mod that puts the phone in bootloop?
I used to test them and if it didn't work I'd just delete it in TWRP.

Flash classic version. Magisk won't work because it flashes a modified boot.img

YouTube AdAway works for me.

EDIT: Ok so I found out what Magisk is, so if I understood well, there is no way it can mess something up, because it does not edit /system partition?

Does this work? If so, what do I install and what order?

I installed Xposed for Nougat back in the fall and it worked, but it also destroyed my battery life while also heating up the tablet to a disturbing degree when the tablet was completely idle. Needless to say, I uninstalled Xposed for Nougat immediately. I'm not completely sure however, whether it was xposed itself that was causing these bugs or one of the applets, but I think it was Xposed because even after I unselected and uninstalled the applets the tablet the battery was still draining while also heating up.
If you are intent on trying out Nougat, here some guides (and fyi if you are on a stock Nvidia Shield Tablet you will need the SDK24 zip):

Untill and unless we get the official update mirrors rooting will be a problem in global version. also you can have twrp if you migrate to chinese rom and revert back to global but again you wont be able to update. I know it sucks ! I just want the Android 10.

I m using global rom 1.21 anyone know how to use magidisk in it.

nah we cannot make magisk work on 1.21 untill we dont have mirror of original 1.21 .
