pre order gift claim - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

I didn't get a confirmation email of my claim today. Is this normal or should I have got one straight away? I have a screenshot of the claim ID but when I enter it on the track my claim page it says invalid.

Just checked my one and it says "claim received". I also got an email.
Might be worth submitting again.

So I have checked claim ID again and it says claim received now but still no email

Mine was declined as they stated that my receipt was blurry . Wtf. It was a screen shot that very legible. The app wouldn't allow me to reload another image so I had to chat with a rep. Now it is saying that I am not eligle any longer. Going to have to talk to a rep again tomorrow to figure out what the F is going on. This same crap happened with my Note 10 and it just seems like they try to find reasons to not pay you. Smh....

Pending still.....
So I ordered mine here in Canada on November 1st at like 2:23PM. My order has been pending this whole time and keeps shortening on when it leaves the warehouse, says leaves warehouse by the 26th.
But I got an email saying payment declined, but on my bank statement it says the amount was already taken so technically my money is in the universe because google doesn't have it.
Spent 22mins on the phone with Google just to have the guy tell me that they don't have my money. Called my bank got transferred to a manager turns out the bank authorized the payment but Google sent it back, it was Google wallet that declined my payment!!!
Google should have notified me of return of payment but also the bank was waiting on confirmation of return of payment, now I have to wait up to 5 business days for the money to return to my account and use my other credit card but I have to wait for the money to return because I don't have enough on my other credit card.
Most disappointing thing is my order has been ready this whole time but Google waited 15 days to notify me.
I think Google has it out for Canadians or just our banks.
Only waiting a week? Isn't a week ago the stock say 2-3 weeks or 3-4 weeks depending on configuration. Just keep waiting. After N5 went online on the play store for 24 hours, the wait time has been at least a few weeks. I ordered mine on the morning of Nov1 and it was saying 2-3 weeks, but it just shipped 2 days ago. You may have to wait another week or 2.

RMA questions

I called the other day made an rma but didn't submit cuz I have to wait for funds to clear.
So I called back today got it done. I clicked the link in the email and clicked overnight shipping.
I was told over the phone all rmas will be ground ordered? How come I can pick overnight and it charges me more or less etc..
I was also told by first phone op that it is a refurb.
Then by second phone op brand new cuz its a n5

It doesn't charge you, it puts a hold. So pick overnight. I've been sent 2 new ones.

Anyone receive their $100 Samsung credit for adding card to Samsung pay?

I just registered my card on my brother's phone, filled out the forms to claim my $100. Now I'm just wondering how long it takes to receive the credit. Anyone get theirs yet?

I registered on 12/07/15, got approval today, 12/15/15. Haven't received it yet, but email states ~4 weeks.
Also registered for the Gifts of the Season promo. No approval as of yet.
Well, it's been 2 weeks and I haven't gotten my code. Calling Samsung is useless and none of the reps knew what to do except give me a link to email their "promotions" department.
I submitted for mime on Nov. 25th, and had it approved the 9th of December. I used it to order a gear vr, didn't have to pay a dime for anything and when it ships... Whenever that is, I won't have to pay for that either. So win win. Good luck.

Phone return and freebies?

I'm returning my g5 until there is root available. I plan to purchase one again if root becomes available in the near future. I have the battery and camera promotion items being sent to me. Do those need to be returned as well?

Nope I had 2 return 2 LG devices cause of screen bleed and I asked them the same question and they said no just return the phone.
Disclaimer: doing this more than once with no issue to the phone can set up a red flag for scam.

By then LG will most likely patch the ability to root. Better to keep the damn phone that you have rather then get set up for failure.

looks like verizon user are getting a refund show up on their account and reset upgrade eligibility automatically
Are we getting the same treatment from sprint?
the last time the refund was fast but it took 3 hours on the phone over 5 different calls to get the upgrade reset.
This is the only way they are getting mine back.

I just swapped my note for an s7 Edge. On a samsung fast wireless charger, my new edge runs hotter than my replacement note ever did. I'm wondering if I made a mistake and should have just held onto it. For those that swapped for an Edge, how much money did you get back? I only got about $53, and was told that $25 would be credited to my account, the rest went to taxes.
But I'm thinking of returning the Edge, use my old HTC m8 H/K until something else comes along.
That sounds a bit messed up you'd have to pay taxes on the credit, since that difference was already taxed during the original purchase.
You just got that amount double taxed...
