Cm12.1 on sm-p900 is it worth it ?

Hello, I'm questioning myself a lot, I did the update on my p900 and well, wonder if more can be done here. It's far from being as snappy as the other tablets I had and I dunno, I would like to test cm12.1 a bit since I have it already on my xiaomi mi3. Can you give me some feedback ? I use that tablet mostly for drawing and social networks...
Also it's impossible to put cm12.1 without breaking the warranty right ?

Snapdragon Hexagon DSP

Hey fellas,
I recently stumbled over a post on stack overflow witch looks interesting. Link at the bottom. I can build a rom from source, but I have no idea how to implement this for testing. Can someone do a test or help me to implement it so I can test it by myself.
I use an LG G6 so the device should support it just like the last nexii or Pixel devices.

Digital Well-being for Android nougat

Hello to all. I noticed on Android Pie there is a monitor for the owner to track how much time spent using particular apps. Is it possible to port Android Pie digital wellbeing APK to Android nougat or Oreo? Or could someone recommend a app that does something similar. I would love to point out to my My Wife and Kids they are spending way too much time on their devices. That way they will understand why their battery is dying so quickly from the on screen time. Thanks to all and look forward to the replies.

Port it yourself . Start by pulling the app and its contents from a working model .

OPPO Rx17 Neo, Custom ROM possible?

Good day,
I have been the proud owner of an Oppo Rx17 neo since 2 days ago. Hardware wise it's pretty stunning for the pricetag. Software is a disaster. The one thing i canmot stomach is no taskbar notifications. This is a dealbreaking issue for me, however i am not allowed to return the phone because of it.
I cannot find anything about this particular model about custom Roms on google or XDA.
Forgive me if i do not approach this the right way, this is my first post on this forum.

I had an Oppo Rx17 neo too.
Most of the notched phones had the same issue with the notification bar.
Best alternative I find is using a third party solution, in my case I'm using Nhead. With it, notifications will pop up as a bubble.
I agree with you, it's an excellent hardware, but Color OS ruins the experience.
Maybe we can start a massive request to Oppo ?

Thanks for the reply! I have had multiple notched phones (P20,Honor play,Honor 10) and they all had status bar notifications. I just cant onderstand that they decided tot het rid of it after ColorOS 3.2. I tried to return the phone today, but they wouldn't take it back since the package is already opened.
I wouldn't mind doing a request to Oppo about it. However i'm afraid that it would fall on deaf Mans ears.

I asked on a telegram group and they told me that if there is a custom bootloader for this phone, the chance to develop a custom rom is there.

Alternatively, is a custom ROM available and is it the answer to install another Android and UI release ?Thanks for any element of response.
ps: Have an Oppo RX17 Neo, purchased in France. The hw is fine but the OS interface is a total nightmare : user experience is such a regression ; app sorting inexistant ; app folders not customizable, oppo contacts syncing does not merge/reconcile with ggl contacts, etc.
