Which ones are you guys getting for your 8X on Verizon?
Since the 8x on Verizon support Qi wireless charging standard I was thinking of the Fatboy Pillow or the Nokia charging pad or the Energizer Inductive one. I have only heard of the Energizer one working with the 8x. Qi is a standard for charging so technically any Qi capable wireless charger should work right?
I already had an Energizer Qi pad and it works fine. I also ordered the Nokia pad from Verizon. The Nokia pad has a much smaller footprint. Any pad that follows the Qi standard should work fine.

I'm using the one I had from my HTC Incredible 2.
I ordered fatboy pillow nokia dt-901 Qi charger and it works flawlessly with the Verizon 8x.
Is it only the Verizon 8X that had wireless charging or do international models also have this feature?
LG pad works good with DNA here.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Yep, any QI charger will work fine with the 8X. I have a Energizer Qi pad...I scored on ebay for $16.49...
I believe Qi charging native only comes with Verizon 8x but I could be wrong.
if you sick of all those cords laying around for phones then this is the product for you,i i have 4 phones of my own plus others in the family so this was not just my solution to charging but all our solutions. start off with best part of the product and thats the price, find a wireless charging pad of this quality for under $46.00 is very reasonable , i used the other charging pads that felt cheap so i went looking on amazon and found RAVPower® Wireless Charger Wireless Charging Pad and i was sold. shipping was fast and on time and all i needed for my GALAXY S4 was a simple to apply QI receiver http://www.amazon.com/Standard-Wireless-charging-Receiver-SAMSUNG/dp/B00CU7FO5C and i was off to charge in minutes, charging time was very reasonable 2hrs 10min to 100%. the pad was much more sturdy and thin than past chargers i have used and VERY simple to use. so bottom line if your looking to clean up "cord clutter" for a very reasonable price then the RAVPower Wireless Charger Wireless Charging Pad is for you. in the future i plan to buy more of RAVPower products now that i found there website at http://www.ravpower.com/ cause i see lots of other products my phones are i need of, thanx RAVPower for making my everyday life alot less cluttered.
Anyone have any tips or tricks to add wireless charging?
Any mods etc?
For example Qi Adapters. I found some on Amazon

Not sure how effective/safe these are.
Let me know what you guys think.
Wireless charging is a hardware thing, how would you propose to "add" wireless charging to a device neither bult for it, nor has it engineered into the design?
Good luck.

I though about something like that as well, however I don't like it that these retrofits block your USB-C Port. Just because I want to enable my phone to be charged wirelessly, I don't necessarily want to rely on it. Also, I still would like to connect it to other devices and such. So far, I did not find a solution to this problem.

To tell you the truth my main phone is the Note 9, if I had wireless charging I will never use cable. and I use Bluetooth earbuds. so I have no use for the USB C port. But yeah the no wireless charging on the pixel 4a 5G got me down.
Sounds like you have some experimenting to do! Those adapters would be the only option.

Yea, looks like it. I will order one today and let you guys know how it goes.
i haven't used the adapters on the 4a 5g, but i had one for my OG Pixel and it was really a pain. you had to position it very precisely and any little bump or nudge would make it stop charging. it was honestly more of a hassle than just plugging it in. i used it for a couple of months, got sick of it, and went back to a magnetic quick connect cable.
I just use the USB C to C magnetic cables. Bought 3 sets, so there's a cable at work/car/home. Closest thing to "wireless" charging for non Qi phones. Buy them on Amazon

Had one of these on a Samsung phone. They are very slow and generate alot of heat. Not worth it.

Are you still achieving fast charging from them as many don't.
...Anyone got experience with any equipment they would recommend?
Thanks
I bought the official Amazon one along with my Gen 11 Fire HD+ on Black Friday and it works perfectly. I would definitely recommend it. It charges from any position that you set the Tablet in, whether it's horizontal, vertical, camera up, camera down, and even charges with the offical Keyboard case I bought with it too. It was about $40 I think?
Really no reason to go with any other wireless stand to be honest.
I purchased the NANAMI Qi Certified Wireless Charging Stand for $15 on Amazon. This works GREAT with the Fire Tablet. I like that when I put it on the stand it looks just like an Echo Show. With that said, I'm guessing almost any wireless charger would work well.

I'm thinking of getting the nanami. It just looks small to support the fire 10 tablet. Is it hard to line up to charge? I looked on the site on amazon and out of the three answers 2 said no. Can you, please, post the link to the one you're recommending?
And, thank you.
I've heard a lot about their products and was just about to purchase one when I saw this article. Apparently the HyperJuice Stackable GaN Charger (both the 65W and 100W versions) and the HyperJuice 130W USB-C Battery Pack have an inherent fire risk. They have have announced a recall, so hopefully all defective products are returned.
