T-Mobile Rooted & Global Firmware?? - OnePlus 8 Questions & Answers

So I am rooted now can someone point me in the direction to load Global firmware on my phone? I keep reading that it wont work on "Branded Phones", can I load it or not! Also will I be able to use Oxygen Updater, if so is the only way through TWRP?
Thanks for suggestions and answers.:highfive:

How Can I Root OOS 10?

thanks in advance! I tried multiple times and i keep getting stuck in a boot loop and it keeps going to the bootloader. Couldn't even boot back into my phone OS. I couldn't get out of it so i used the MSM tool and i am officially back to 9.5.3. Can somebody please let me know if i can update from this and stay rooted, or can i update to OOS 10 first and then root from scratch. I appreciate all help! I'm sorta a noob to this, so i apologize in advance if its a noob question.

OP 8 (T-Mobile Variant) How to Root?

I've tried searching and have had no luck or have just gotten more confusing results, but how can root a fully unlocked T-Mobile OP8? The bootloader is unlocked and I am next trying to root it, so I can fix my dumb mistake of bricking the fingerprint scanner from relocking the bootloader (couldn't use a lot of apps). If there is a way to fix the fingerprint scanner without rooting, please let me know. I understand that is has to do with a broken persist.img, but I do not know how to correct this.
From what I've read about rooting the OP8, you need to have the firmware of the same version installed on the device and since T-Mobile variants don't publicly have their firmware available (can't find them anywhere) and I can't patch the payload.bin (because of lack of firmware download availability)...
Thanks!

How to revert safely back to stable Oxygen OS from a custom ROM

Hey guys,
So I had flashed custom ROM on my OP7 couple of times, and on both the occasions, when I tried to revert back to stable Oxygen OS, I ended up in Qualcomm crashdump mode.
Now it might seem like a noob request, but can anyone give me a detailed guide on how to revert back without actually bricking my phone.

Hello there, so I want to root my tablet which is from a local company in my country, the stock firmware is paid and no one ever made TWRP for it, is there any way to extract boot.img from the tablet? it's a MTK6580 and the model is 5Star BD14+, and also sorry if I put this in the wrong topic or something, I'm new here.
Looks like I posted it in the wrong topic, going to make a new one.
