OP 8 (T-Mobile Variant) How to Root? - OnePlus 8 Questions & Answers

I've tried searching and have had no luck or have just gotten more confusing results, but how can root a fully unlocked T-Mobile OP8? The bootloader is unlocked and I am next trying to root it, so I can fix my dumb mistake of bricking the fingerprint scanner from relocking the bootloader (couldn't use a lot of apps). If there is a way to fix the fingerprint scanner without rooting, please let me know. I understand that is has to do with a broken persist.img, but I do not know how to correct this.
From what I've read about rooting the OP8, you need to have the firmware of the same version installed on the device and since T-Mobile variants don't publicly have their firmware available (can't find them anywhere) and I can't patch the payload.bin (because of lack of firmware download availability)...
Thanks!

How Can I Root OOS 10?

thanks in advance! I tried multiple times and i keep getting stuck in a boot loop and it keeps going to the bootloader. Couldn't even boot back into my phone OS. I couldn't get out of it so i used the MSM tool and i am officially back to 9.5.3. Can somebody please let me know if i can update from this and stay rooted, or can i update to OOS 10 first and then root from scratch. I appreciate all help! I'm sorta a noob to this, so i apologize in advance if its a noob question.

IN2017 Updated to A11 - Lost Root!

Hey all, my T-Mobile IN2017 just took the A11 update (11.0.1.3.IN55CB) without any prompting, and I've lost root. Is there a working TWRP and/or patched boot img I can use to regain Magisk root?

Question Help me to root my device ROG 5 Bootloader not unlocking

Please help anyone me to unlock bootloader.
Using bootloader unlocker app but its not erasing phone means bootloader not unlocked.
Some one said wait for EDL Update.
If updated please inform me. And give me link of ROG 5 Community please.
PLEASE HELP ME
The unlocker app requires internet connection and accepting the conditions, it should restart the device wiped when successful. Do you get an unlocked warning screen when booting? What's Fastboot OEM device-info giving you?
