I used to have the 6t prior to buying the Nord, and after running an adb shell comand and installing joneplus tools I could activate the build in call recorder function in the 6t.
I tride the same on the Nord but the build in Google dialer is not displaying any option for recording. After this I have tride to install the stock dialer off OnePlus 8, this app crashes constantly.
Anyone with other ideas on how I could use a call recorder without rooting the device?

Gone back to my OP5. Non afraid ? one plus has e made some big mistakes. Just look at the buds you cannot update them if your a non OP owner. Wow big mistake now the Google App you cannot do per app notifications

I have tride using this app several days, but it comes with a couple of issues.
1)when using a wireless by headset it's not recording all voice's.
2) recording quality is low, sometimes it's impossible to understand
(No root, I am willing to root if someone can tell me if the issues mentioned above are fixed with that)

It's probably different because of regional settings, I'm in Europe and don't have that function. Where are you from?

That explains it. Im in SouthEast Asia, using the HK AC2003/AC01AA Global build. But the implementation of call recording is so poor that they might just as well have left it out.
Call recording for me only works when you put the phone in speaker mode. But they dont block you from recording if you arent in speaker mode nor do they tell you. Just that you cant stop the recording and when call ends, you dont get any recordings or if you do, it doesnt show anything when you try play it back.
This application works fine in one plus Nord.

I have just made a couple off calls and recorded them with this app. In the recording, When I start talking the other side is muted in such a way that I cannot understand what they are saying.
In one call I only could here the other person talking my voice was not recorded. Did you have some similar issues?

me too am on 320 and nothing worked for me .... it was working on B180... but now on B320 nothing worked at all ... i tried alot of apps and alot of combinations in apps settings .... no result .. :/
No problems with call recording both sides of the conversation with Call Recorder by Skvalex in the play store. it will even auto detect your Mate 8 and automatically pick the correct profile for it in the settings.

There actually used to be a trial originally. But since I purchased it years ago I cant say when the trial version dropped. It always worked no matter what Android device I had. Rooted or not. I guess since his call recording app has become basically the best in the play store and the only one that has constantly been updated for years I would gladly pay it again if I had to.

I recall when I had my Mate 7 there was a hwcallrecorder.apk file that was official from Huawei (at least as far as I remember) does such an app exist for Mate 8? I rather liked that one due to the way it integrated with the dialer/phone app

The XZ is a good phone but these factors often drags it down
- the speaker volume is too quiet but if I play music through it, the audio is adequate (ringtones are quiet when receiving incoming calls)
- Is DSEE HX suppose to be make the audio volume low ?
- The battery life on the 417 build is horrible
One more question,
What is the purpose of clear audio +?
Mine 417 works very good and the speaker make a good sound, think that if would be a one speaker can have a high volume but in this case this phone have two speaker and the power must be eficiently, otherwise the battery drain would be so high, to get more volume I use this configuration

I have tested it and it only works with Music that plays through any music app
Ringtones and overall system volume is tiny
You would need Viper4android, but it requires a rooted phone

I have a problem with push notifications. I don't get Gmail and Yahoo mail instantly when I leave the phone idle for a while. It's like battery management kills these apps and only wakes them up again when the screen is on. I can't find a fix for this problem.

No, I've never used the stock email app on any of the phones I owned. I usually have trouble setting up Yahoo mail on any other mail app so I just stick with the Yahoo mail app which has always been working with no problems. Same goes for the Gmail app.

you will have to download the app from the playstore there is no inbuilt setting to show network speed.
Does it have any configuration menu for capacitive buttons in settings ?
Is there anyway we can have separate Mobile Data On/Off in Status Bar without any app ?
We only have "mobile" from which we have to go to enable/disable.

it also include September security patch too that is why, as security patch itself need around 250 to 300MB as per previous August Security patch update
also slow motion things on cam recording is fixed and video stability increased which i noticed.

Mine is also Broken. I have tried to use the built in Camera app and an alternate app.
To change to the front facing camera you click the circles with arrows in the bottom right and to zoom in press the 1x button the the middle at the bottom

I have similar problem of the front cam not working with my A1. As in the picture the option to switch between the front and back camera has disappeared suddenly and does not appear even after factory reset. Further the camera app randomly crashes. Another app that randomly crashes is the Google Movies App; I don't even know what that is. Overall my experience with this particular model has been terrible; cheap phones actually are just that, CHEAP!

I tried many a third party apps including Google Camera; no response during Whatsapp and Facebook messenger calls either? Could it be Hardware? Also note that the Optical Zoom option has also disappeared.

it does sound like hardware then mate try dialing *#*#6484#*#* and do the camera test there if it fails then its most likely hardware im afraid mate

Have u put twrp or tried mess with build prop
I was taking some video at a music gig I ran sound for last night and was having problems where the frame would freeze for like a second or two then catch up. Does this on the playback also does the same thing. My pixel 2xl didn't do this at all. Phone was keep stationary so wasn't like it couldn't keep up with motion or anything. Anyone else having this problem?

I just ran a test, recorded a 4 min video with no freezes. Curious if you had lots of apps loaded in memory, or if it was especially warm in that room. I checked and only had a couple of apps loaded. Just two things I thought of. Still would be very interested in what support says. I do sometimes take fairly long videos of music performances. Never had that issue on my previous phone either.
I would start no but also never had problems with my pixel 2xl a oneplus 6 or any other phones I've had in the past. I could do a factory reset and see if that's fixes it. I highly doubtful it will do anything

Called Google support and talked to a pixel 3 support guy. After trying a bunch stuff including clearing cache and app data. We were able to replicate the problem over the phone. He had my revert the stock camera app back to the original version when the phone was released and appears to be working fine. I will report back once I'm able to take more videos.

How did you revert back to a previous version of the camera app? Isn't the current Sep 5th update the same one the phone was released with?
Go to the settings page and find the camera app and click clear cache and data then click the disable button, this should uninstall and updates then if it doesn't take you the playstore then go too the playstore and find the Google camera app and go to the top right hand corner and click the drop down thing and uncheck the auto update function.

How can I use dex mode type a message while pokemon masters keeps running without pausing or freezing?

I think this is the major problem with the dex right now..
Its having apps where you cant resize their windows and having them freezing while using other apps.
On youtube case I use the vanced which works perfectly on background but with many other apps its a struggle.. is there any app to fix this dex issue?
Resize and Run.

Have u even tried to run those apps I said?
Do you even have a note 8 or 9 or 10?
Have u ever used dex mode on these apps?
Answering your question: Off-Course I have!
U cant resize game apps only make them fullscreen, and some games wont allow you to run them while u are selecting other apps like your browser.
Thats the big dex problem.

yes to all your questions.
just tried it on dex. i could resize and multitask without the background app freezing.
check to see if u have this enabled.
again, enable dex dev options and enable options in labs.

So I asked if you could run Messenger and Pokemon Masters without them both freezing while working on one of each and you say yes? Im gonna request a video of that if you keep saying yes. Please make me a short clip of that and yes I know I activated the developer options on Dex and I know I have that option on. Im gonna provide you with pictures even.

I know its gonna sound cliché as f. but cant do it know as im out for work but as soon as I get home I will make a video perharps is the best to get an answer on youtube with all this problem and I will post it here.

after enabling the options, pls restart the dex. try exit dex then load it back from screen mirroring

PERFECT!
Problem 1 - Solved! I can now resize back these apps again!
BUT!
Problem 2 - Apps still freeze when touching a different app. (Not with all but some don't work both at the same time is there a fix?).
Pokemon Masters + Messenger for instance is a mess.

Yeah I guess there are still some issues and work-arounds we need to figure.. But regarding to this. I dont seem to be that lucky I can run Youtube Vanced with no problem with Pokemon Masters.. but with Messenger or messenger itself with any other app it stops receiving messages so theres a backstop running functions somewhere.
Still man if u find out something let me know and thank you so much in advance for these tips!! Lets see if I can figure this out! Im super happier now!
Hmm. I think it's code within Pokémon.
Many apps have auto freeze when anything outside it gets triggered.
Or how do I put it, something in that apps process is the trigger
Dex is just a GUI, it cannot change the way apps or Android is run.
Maybe try to disable some permissions on the other app that aren't necessary for it like they are in Pokémon go, etc.
