What is the easiest Root method for the TMobile Variant. It's sim unlocked. Also is there a root method where you don't have to use a computer?
I used the all in one tool, installs recovery and check root upon boot option
Hi
You have to use a computer unfortunately. The Tool All-in-one is marvellous because it is very easy to proceed the root and others things.

SIM unlocked is not bootloader unlocked.
The bootloader needs to be unlocked. If you have a T-Mobile device you either need to get the code to unlock the bootloader or switch to some variant of international firmware.
You can then install TWRP and Magisk.

Will his tool kit safely root my phone on the update or will he release an update? Or will it work fine since it only unlocks the boot loader and pushes root files to the phone?

Just look for his thread, you'll find the answer there.
I'm pretty sure he won't need to update his toolkit, but who knows!
Hi, I wondered to know which is the safest way to root our moto g. I don't want to wipe data or delete system partition or even install custom recoveries. Is possibile to just get root access without modify too much our device?
My device: XT1032

Thanks

Is your bootloader unlocked? If not you have to, and when you do, your data will be wiped.
If you are unlocked, download cfauto root for your device and it's pretty much one click to root.
Damn, I didn't want to backup and restore all my data.
Just another question: bootloader unlocked means warranty void, doesn't it? Can I lock the bootloader again in order to have the warranty valid again?

You can relock it, but as you need to request the unlock code from motorola it's pointless relocking it.
In fact motorola say just requesting the code voids the warranty even if you don't use it!
Thank you for the useful information
guide?

Download cfauto root for your device to your computer from here
1: Boot the phone into bootloader
2: Connect device to the computer with a USB cable
3: Unzip the CF-Auto-Root-xxx-xxx-xxx.zip file on the computer
4: Run the root-windows.bat file
That's it:good:
Flash custom recovery > flash Superuser.zip > profit.
You do not use root exploits when you have a unlocked bootloader.

How can I unlock the bootloader on my rooted 5.1.1 d6603 eXistenZ rom without having to loose all my data? And if that's not possible, then how can I unlock the bootloader period? Does it matter if you're rooted and can you do it while on 5.1.1?

You always lose data when you unlock the bootloader.
It does not matter what ROM you are on or if you are rooted.
Any ROm that works on locked bootloader also works on unlocked bootloader
To unlock the bootloader go here http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/
Will I loose root and my dual recovery and if so is there root for 5.1.1? Thanks for the help.

No, (well you shouldn't) as root and recovery are installed to the system. Unlocking the boot does wipe data though.
And if once you have an unlocked bootloader you can always root any firmware on any android version. That's the main reason to unlock the bootloader. You will also be able to delete recovery from your system and have a custom kernel with recovery built into it.
Hello!
I want to unlock my bootloader and root my phone to flash a custom ROM. I have many questions regarding this:
1. http://www.howtogeek.com/239798/how-to-unlock-your-android-phones-bootloader-the-official-way/ This link has instructions to unlock bootloader the official way. It is written there that bootloader of some specific models of some phones might not be unlockable, and it told me to check on XDA developers. So is OnePlus X E1003 Onyx's bootloader unlockable? If not, it is written that I will need to use the unofficial method given at XDA developers.
2. After unlocking my bootloader using ADB, fastboot and all that, do I need to flash a custom recovery like TWRP, CloCkworks mod, etc. ? If yes, pls tell me where to find it and how to flash it!!
3. Do I neet to root my device before flashing a custom ROM? Also, how to root my device manually using adb? Should I use apps like Kingroot for rooting my phone. If yes, pls suggest apps other than kingroot! and also tell me how to root manually using zipped files!
4. What is the safest and ideal way to flash a custom ROM? As OnePlus X hasn't yet received Marshmellow update, is it advisable to flash CM13? Is there any OxygenOS v 3.3 Rom for Oneplus x?? pls helP!!

Motorola Smart assistant will fix it, and you'll need it to get the file for magisk to modify
