Hi, I wanted to buy the Xperia ZL because of the camera button, but since it won't come out in Germany I'll have to buy the Xperia Z which doesn't has one. Now my question is: Does the Xperia Z have a camera icon on the lockscreen even if I have a PIN-code as unlock method ? I was wondering because on the Xperia S or on the Nexus 4, the camera Icons and so on, don't get displayed when I have a PIN-code as unlock method.

I'm not too sure about the xperia z but all Sony devices (with or without camera buttons) allow access to the camera without unlocking the phone. It should be the same for the xperia z

thats becuse they shipped Miro with a ****ty front camera! it will work fine only in daylight and not roomlight!

Had the same problem with my XPERIA J but updating to JB somehow fixed it...
Installing Camera Zoom fx seemed to improve my camera a lot..
I really like the app.
But that's on my xperia J don't know if it'll boost xperia miro camera performance.
I can't run themer on my Xperia E because the resolution of 320x480 is not supported by it. IS there any way to get it running on phones with smaller resolution?
Nope. Even if it were, the Themer website explicitly says that the Xperia E, J and Tipo are incompatible: http://support.themerapp.com/knowledgebase/articles/263019-what-devices-are-supported
Even if it's not as good, try ssLauncher. It's on the Play Store, and my only problem with it is that it is too customizable. :laugh:

Since the boot animation video has been floating around. Would anyone have the actual boot animation file to share on here? Def loving it more than the z3+ one.
The Z3 compact bootanimation is 720p but Z3 is 1080p. So is impossible that let the bootanimation upscale to 1080p.
Also, you need to wait the Z5 system dump available first to get the suitable bootanimation.
