Edit: error 1 in j4 core android version not supported? Oreo is the only stock rom for j4 core. Gsi 9.0 and 10 in j4 core have in call audio bug

Hello ,
I'm trying to port kernel sources to a Coolpad Note 6 device. The device sources are completely closed source and the manufacturer is chineese, and probably won't release any sources in future.
I followed through @ataberkozen's tutorial here on how to port qcom kernel sources. But I'm stuck at identifying hardware, and finding drivers for my device. The compiling the kernel section also seems incomplete.
Can someone please help me / guide me in the right path to port a kernel to my device?
