Hey guys,
I also posted a few days ago on the Raphael thread, but figured than just about anyone with a pocket pc and email can make use of this.
If you want to be able to send videos to Youtube by email (no special installation needed, just email on your phone), you can try the following site:
http://tubeseries.net/welcome.aspx
Once you register, you get an email address that you can use to send videos to. Once sent, the site will upload the video to youtube for you.
How to turn the Device camera to webcam?
How to make video call by using webcam thru skype?
There are many applicatios out there, but not freeware , do a google search and im shure you'll find
try qik at http://qik.com, it is the best ever. you create an account, and then make videos, you can make the videos public or private.
Coolcamera has a webcam function.
Guys,
It does seem to me that Skype randomly dropped the ball; Fring does not support video chat anymore, and other video chat application do not support PC to Android functionality. The technology is HERE; however why are all of these video products limiting themselves in this way? Is creating a PC app that difficult? I just don't understand. It seems so obvious!!! It's the ONE SINGLE THING that we cannot get and are looking for.
Sales pitch they don't want you to know
Even though we all know that video chat will work with Wifi (that we pay for already) -- I really believe that these big corporations really want to release Video Chat at the same time LTE will be realeased with newer phones that, again, will already have front facing camera when some of us currently have already technology already. Skype is releasing Video chat to Verizon exclusively which will give an incentive for people to want to go to Verizon to use video chat. This technology already exist but they would like for us to use it at a price (buying a new phone and switching to Verizon if we didn't do so already). That is why Skype does not do video chat, when they can! Fring to Yahoo messenger does not want to use video chat, when they can! Fring to MSN messenger does not want to use video chat when they can! Fring PC to Phone does not exist and they want it to stay that way as well as Tango PC to Phone does not exist as well.
What we need is PC to PHONE VIDEO Chat -- how hard is that ?
Thats my 2 cents. Please let me know if you guys agree on this idea of trying to sell video chat for more money then just releasing it for free. I have tried to find PC to Android video chat functionality and I cannot. Please enlighten me if you guys have or know of this technology that works!
Thanks.
Hey guys, there a lot of great apps out there that allow us to configure our Android camera as an IP camera, or as a USB webcam for video chats such as skype. We seem to have hit a dead end however, when it comes to Google's Video Chat. For whatever reason (to my knowledge) app developers have not been able to figure out a way to make the camera accessible to Google's Video Chats. It's not a huge problem, but its frustrating, in that solutions such as MJPG drivers that work for other video clients don't work with Google's. Has anyone found a fix or dug into this problem?
I Am trying to make an app similar to Pandora... I own an online radio station
worldhypefm .net and I want to make a custom page coded with php and flash player to or just make a regular html webpage with the content and turn it into an app....
the main feature that I would like for this app to have is the ability to stay open and run in the background like pandora....
leaving the live stream audio playing from the speakers and letting the app user be able to do other activities on there phones....I.E browse the internet, send sms, etc....
please some one help me or point me in the right direction.....
Why not just make the stream accessible by other audio players?
It works with other players with your pc/mac but on mobile phones it only plays back the current playing song at the time and doesnt play the stream.... if tried that method... SO ID RATHER JUST MAKE IT AN APP OUT OF A WEBSITE THAT DOESNT CLOSE W/ Tabs so that ppl could send request or place an ad or something of that nature
