Hi Team,
I have one S3 phone and was giving error about application manager stopped and did rest using recovery mode. But google application problem was as it and not allowed me to setup the phone. I download the Samsung firmware OCA and trying to load using ODIN but unable to fix it.
1. I can not open the phone to set USB debugging mode .
2. Samsung Stock ROM is stuck while loading at sboot and operation failed .(Unable to write )
3- Now Phone is not opening and getting error " Unfortunate Firmware upgrade failed "
Now my phone only opening in downloading mode. Pls someone helps me as i am not very good in mobile troubleshooting and looking expert advice.

I have a galaxy s6 SMG920F,
i rooted my device when i first purchased, I then decided i wanted to go back to stock so i could update software,
I downloaded a stock rom and proceeded to flash through Odin. v3.10 it got to the end and failed,
And now ii am stuck on a green screen that reads, An error has occurred while updating the software.
Ue the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software.
I have doen this twicem and get this error message, Failed to update due to an error. DO you want to run emergency software recover?......You must enter the recovery code from another pc. Please remember the recovery code.
I can still get on download mode, but apart fro that nothing, Including recovery mode vol up home and power.
Please help XDA, i hope i dont have a paperweight!

I realize i'm stupid af but here's what happened: I was trying to flash a custom rom to my SM-G920F galaxy s6 and accidentally uninstalled my OS. This morning I attempted to flash G920FXXU2POGN to my galaxy 6, I have no idea what the original software was. Everything was going fine until the last minute when hidden.img appeared in the odin log and the flash failed. My device now reads: An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software. However, neither smart switch of kies 3.0 support my device!! My device is still bootable into download mode. Please please please help. I've only had this thing for a day and I've already broken it.

Hi there, you should download smart switch and use emergency firmware recovery, From there you should click 'more' then click emergency software recovery. Key in your device SM-G920F then input your serial number (Found on your device Box, remember to connect your phone on download mode) then voila, it should download and install the latest firmware for you. hope it helps!
Hi, I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Core 2 (SM-G355H). I tried to install the official firmware for this model that I get from SamMobile by using Odin, and everything went good, no "failed" and it was showed PASS as it should. But then when I tried to reboot it, it just didnt reboot. Now I can enter to download mode, but not into recovery mode or just start it normally. Are there any possible solutions? I would really appreciate any help.
stock recovery not working tried twice
cwm not working it just shows open android chest sign but no options in recovery menu.
odin passed stock recovery
but phone turns on till EULA and all process failed eg. googlemaps failed, systemprocess.com failed, android process failed everything just fails.

So I wanted to root my Galaxy Core Prime When my brother touched the power plugin during the Process.
So Now I'm stuck on a message saying "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & Try again."
I get FAIL! message everytime I do something and FRP message in Phone. the Stupid Guide did only mention USB debugging and No OEM or something like that
Note that I cannot Open Recovery Mode... Only Download mode...
Please help !!!!!

You can flash it with Odin when it is in that state, just connect it to Odin while on the "encountered an issue" screen and flash the firmware.
Hey, I flashed the stock rom but it is still on the start screen.
Any suggestions?
I updated Xposed on my Samsung S6 Edge (smg900f) and rebooted my phone. This caused a boot-loop.
I'm unable to get it to boot in Recovery .
While trying to flash VRALEC.bootchain.tar.md5 ; the process freeze. I restarted the phone and I got : " An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software (which I don't have).

Greetings and welcome to xda. You can download either kies or smart switch from samsungs website and then it will automatically detect your phone and install the correct emergency recovery firmware. If this is not an option then I think this tool will work
