Device awakes every 5 seconds after i press the screen off (soft press) when attached - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there
I've got a problem with this device.
If it is charged to 100% everything works well, the power connector is working also.
When i need to charge it, the device flips on and stays on after 5 seconds when i set it on standby, it wont go 'to sleep' after that, it's always on
I've restored to factory settings, but with the same result.
I really dont know what could be a fix??

broken fuze. powers on as soon as battery is popped in

So I've had my fuze a little over a year now, no major issues. Used mostly energyroms, but about December time I switched back to a simple non-bloated stock rom for the stability.
Anyway today at work I was texting, and I press the power button to put the phone in standby. And the screen remains on and usable. I tried again and it would not go into standby (power button physically feels normal, it does not feel loose or abnormal.) So i let it sit for a few minutes, then i look at it and a message poped up asking if i wanted to turn the phone off (like as if i was holding the power button)so i press no, then it comes up again a few seconds later and aagain and again. So I soft reset the phone.
The phone resets but takes a LOT longer at the att/htc splashscreen, then it hangs at the htc screen and does not make it to the wimo screen, but instead an error screen saying:
"The device is unable to boot because you have either turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an applicationa from an untrusted source, press SEND to reset your device or press any other button to cancel..."
I think it went through the hard reset this time because when it restarted it asked to calibrate the screen and install stuff. it resets again sometime after that, still takes forever at the splash screen and comes back up to the error, only this time no matter what button i press it wont go away and boot into wimo. It seems like none of my buttons work (they wont light up now) when i slide out the keyboard, it is not lit up like normally.
And heres the kicker, my only way to turn on/off the phone is to take out/put in the battery. As soon as I pop the battery back in the fuze turns on. Is my phone toast? Ive tried to hard reset and the phone does not reach the bootloader, it goes straight to the splash screen. Same with trying to reflash it from my comp, raphealwrapper cannot find my phone.
I've only recently encountered the exact same problem on my Touch Pro, but stock ROM and everything. As far as I can tell, our power buttons are busted and probably need to be serviced. One of the contacts must be stuck in the 'on' position somewhere inside :\ As a temporary fix, I've been using AEButton Plus and remapped double tap end call key to turn the screen off, and removing the stylus to turn it on.

[Q] TF Powers Up, but Touch Screen is not working so I cant get past the lock screen

I did a search but no solutions came up.
Basically, when I touch the screen to move the little lock icon over to unlock it nothing happens.
I powered it off by holding power for 10 seconds and then powered it on again.
No bueno, nothing happened.
Anyone else run into this and was able to solve it?
yes, i had the same problem, you will not like this..
do one step at the time and check if it works, if not continue to the next one
1. cold reboot (hold power button for 30-60 seconds),
you can try step 1 several times
2. turn it off, let it charge for 2-3 hours, turn it on
3. reboot to safe mode (this not really sure how i did it..lol.. i think is, turn off and turn on and quickly hold both volume keys until it boots up, if you did it correctly it will boot and say "safe mode" at the bottom left corner).
4. reset to factory settings, hold volume (-) and power key at the same time, (this will erase everything)
when i had this problem, i actually had to cold rebooted several times and reboot into safe mode after step 4 to have the touchscreen working again..I was about this close () to give up and return it to walmart..
I had the same thing happen to me, and all the rebooting in the world couldn't fix it. I don't know if you're still on stock rom or not, but what I did was reflashed the Prime rom and it worked again.
Nothing helped, even hard wipe.
Returned the TF.
I had this same problem... Unfortunately the only thing that worked was letting the power drain out. That was a huge pain because the Transformer has a killer battery and there are only so many times you can turn the screen on and off to drain it. It took about 4-5 days to fully drain. After that point I had upgraded to 3.1 and it has worked flawlessly since then... definitely a firmware problem not hardware.

cannot unlock tablet

Update below
my security unlock screen method is "pattern", i went to setting -> security and uncheck "show the pattern" or "visible pattern" (or something like that. i was curious what is that setting about)
then i press the power button to put it into sleep mode, it turned off the screen, then now when i press the power button again to wake it up and nothing happens.
also last time i tried connecting it to pc it automatically woke up, but now i connect to pc nothing happens, on Computer there's nothing like "Asus transformer pad TF300" either. i don't even know is it turned off or not?
i assumed it was turned off so i tried pressed and hold the power button with no luck.
tried 3 times. battery was 67%. it was working ok before i changed the setting.
also yesterday when i got it i couldn't power it on because there was no power in the battery, i had to plugged it to charge and wait 2 hours then i was able to power it on. so is the battery empty right now? it shows 67%, or is this something related to the setting. i also have bad battery life.
now can't do anything, if i want to return it i can't even do a factory reset to erase my personal data.
UPDATE: i read someone's post hay says he usually have to press and hold the power button for 12 seconds for it to boot, so i tried that and it booted up. yes i said it booted up, which means it turned off when i pressed the power button to lock it. and the battery went down to 63% (from 67% i said above).
so what does this mean? why do i have to press and hold for 12 seconds, (normally 1.5 seconds)? and why did it turn off automatically? battery still drain about 1% every 5 minutes.
so far i have too much problems

Please Help! Phone wont wake (black screen) LG G2X, thanks

Hi, i have know idea what's going on, all I know is this settings app added all these icons on my home screen, so i deleted the app. An hr later i'm losing signal, so i went to turn on wifi to use the connection from my router. Soon as I turned on wifi (on the phone) my screen went black, but the bottom buttons (home, search, etc.) are all lit up, but the entire screen is black. I press every button, hold down every button, etc...it wont wake up. I've rebooted several times. It reboots fine, then 10 seconds later it goes black or the phone will reboot.
To make a long story short, i hated that i lost my info. But, I did a hard reset. BTW, my G2X is rooted, I've been running this same MIUI Rom for several months with very few problems. So I wiped data/cache, did the hard reset and my phone worked fine for a day! Sad about losing my data, but happy to have my phone back and not having to spend some money i don't have on a new phone.
Well last night, i fell asleep without putting phone on charger, I woke up and the battery was dead. I plugged in charger and the phone still wouldn't come on. I tried several chargers, so I just left the dead phone in the charger for an hour, still wouldn't boot up, finally after 2 hours it boots! It showed 90% on battery. So I think all is fine! I go to kitchen, come back and the screen is black again. Someone please help, Thanks

[Q] Lockscreen never turns display off

So I'm using Stock Android 5.0.1 Nexus 5.
The problem is my lockscreen never turns itself off.
So the phone goes to sleep from any normal screen after 1 min (as per settings).
This turns the display off and everything is fine.
But if I manually get the lockscreen up by pressing the power button or by plugging in a charger the lockscreen will stay on forever. I think its supposed to turn off after 10 - 15 sec or so but it doesnt do that anymore.
So every time I plug in a charger I have to make sure I turn the display off again.
I'm not sure when it started. I have dev options enabled on the phone but I never found any setting to fix this anywhere.
Edit: Reboot fixed it for now but I'm pretty sure its recurring. Well with luck its not.
Reboot
