I'm finding that MIUI autobrightness is just as broken on this phone as it was on my Mi 9T Pro. The problem is that AB goes way too low in a dimly lit room and no amount of "training" will fix it. Thankfully there was a Magisk module for the Mi 9T Pro that stopped AB going too low. Hopefully a clever dev can do the same for the Poco F2 Pro.
Going by the amount of online discussion of the MIUI AB problem one would think that Xiaomi may have addressed it by now but obviously not. Surely it isn't rocket science to fix this.

Hello,
I recently bought a POCO F2 Pro. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing a well-known bug which existed on previous Xiaomi devices in the past, as example on the Redmi Note 9S, on the Redmi Note 9 Pro, and on the Redmi Note 5 Pro: The Wi-Fi connectivity is gone as soon as the POCO F2 Pro goes into deep sleep mode, waking up the POCO F2 Pro doesn't bring back the Wi-Fi connectivity, even though the Wi-Fi icon is visible and the Wi-Fi settings on the POCO F2 Pro are showing that it's connected to a Wi-Fi connection.
To bring back the Wi-Fi connectivity I have to turn on the airplane mode on the POCO F2 Pro and turn it off again, or have to turn off Wi-Fi on the POCO F2 Pro and turn it on again. I never experienced this well-known bug on my Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, which are connected to the same Wi-Fi connection.
Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this issue, or if Xiaomi already knows about this well-known bug happening on some POCO F2 Pro devices?
Regards,
Credipede
Got F2 Pro and I do not experience this kind of bug. Stock ROM.
I'm using the latest Stock ROM for my region. It seems like I'm not the only one experiencing this well-known bug on the POCO F2 Pro as there are several reports about it on the internet, unfortunately without fixes.
Same here since months now. Still waiting for an update..
You should mention the ROM version and Region also.
My EEA 12.0.2 is OK. I haven't faced this kind of issue.
ROM: MIUI Global Stable 12.0.2 (QJKEUXM)
Region: Germany
try with a different router, disable power saving etc. it isn't a well known bug, don't you think there would have been a lot more reports? check your side of the equipment, some routers don't play well with some makes.
It is a well-known Xiaomi bug which was very common on other Xiaomi smartphones in the past, as example on the Redmi Note 9S, on the Redmi Note 9 Pro, and on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It took Xiaomi several months to fix the bug on those devices. I guess the few POCO F2 Pro users affected by this well-known Xiaomi bug will have to wait several months as well for a fix.
Well, I had Mi9 now I have F2 Pro, and I have never had such issues. Looks like problem is restricted to certain ROMs.
It is ofc well-known as Credipede said and it was also pinned in the official Telegram group.
I had no problems with my Mi9 and Mi9T.
Hey all of you,
I'm pretty new to XDA, but not to Xiaomi.
I am the kind of User that still sticks with MIUI to not risk any broken phone or anything... I've never even unlocked a bootloader or anything...
I was pretty happy with my Poco F1 till my battery life was going even more downhill :crying:
That's when I decided to buy the Poco F2 Pro from eglobalcentral. I was sooo happy when TI arrived... But that feeling quickly changed. On 11.0.2 I experienced a hard battery drain while the phone was off. That's when I updated to 12.0.4(didnt knew 11.0.6 would probably be a better choice).
Now I'm stuck with the Poco F2 Pro that doesn't have a great battery life and problems with Netflix and Amazon Prime
-> Prime doesn't work in HD anymore...
-> Netflix doesn't work in HD and with it broke the mediaserver
You have to love it :/
-> when watching anything of the above, mediaserver drain around 70% of the battery (screen is around 10%( the apps themself at 2 to 5)
Welp those phone were reset the normal way enough times to know nothing will change
My idea was to maybe unlock bootloader, clean install 11.0.2, 11.0.6 or try 12.0.4 again.
But since I'm a total noob at this:
1. Do I lose sensor like I've read a few times when downgrading)
2. Is the re any reliable source to download twrp and is there any guide out there?
3. Can I use miflash for the phone to downgrade aswell? Or will it have complication (does it totally reset the phone?)
4.how to I make my pc find my phone in fastboot mode?
5. Does it make more sense to send it to Xiaomi and make them fix my phone for me?
6. What's a reliable source for Poco f2 pro Roms? The xiaomi.eu website didn't have poco f2 pro in there list, or am I juts blind?
7. Anybody else had any problems MIT miui 12 yet?
If anybody is so kind to help me, it would be Highly appreciated.
Thanks for reading and have a great day
I would suggest to update the phone. Mine shipped with 12.0.3. There was a noticable improvement to whatever the next upgrade was, a substantial improvement changing to eu roms, mind blowing performance and battery improvement switching to MSM- Extended. All guides are very easy to find
Guys if anyone using these phones n experienced well about performance means tell me which is better phone Xiaomi 11x pro or 11T pro, I don't want the heating issue in phone so asking u guys... please comment
Does anyone know how the heck could the speaker of phonecalls be less powerful? Cause privacy seems unposible when we speak on a call...the speaker is too loud even in the lowest volume..may xiaomi find a way to fix this ?
Hello to everyone,
since day 2 after buying the Xiaomi 11t pro, i see no notification effect (Rhythm, Pulse, Starlight) when the screen is locked. For some hours after activating the device for the very first time, it worked and then nothing. I have tried everything in settings, i have changed several Themes (default and by third developers) and still no effect on screen.
Any idea?
Thank you in advance!
Poco X4 Pro 5G screen issue, I'm facing a recent issue with Poco X4 where its screen keeps "flashing" in shades of black that aren't completely black. like trying to adjust the color or something. From what I've noticed, this only happens when I set the screen to 120hz. This was probably caused due to pressure I did while leaving the phone in my pocket but that same day I updated the Android version to 12, so I wanted to know if there is a possibility that this is a software problem, someone is facing the same problem?

Yes, the same thing happens to me when the brightness is at 50-60% on a dark background it starts to flicker and it is not amoled black, it would be a software problem since many users have the same problem with the Poco X4 Pro 5G
I'll pass you the thread so you can read it:

From what I could read in this topic, the problem is that the screen does not show the true black of amoled screens, which is not my case, so much so that I tested the solution with Oreo Colorizer but it didn't work, but I've seen it in other topics some people talking about the screen flickering, including a user saying that turning off 120hz solved the problem. I hope that both issues are software related and that Xiaomi fixes this as soon as possible. Anyway thanks for the reply bro
This issue was introduced during the android 12 update. Previously I had no issues with flickering...

Well, I noticed the problem the very day my phone was updated to Android 12, so it's really a software problem. I don't know how long it will take for Xiaomi to resolve this but I hope it will be soon
Can you run `dmesg` on your Poco X3 Pro and share the output?
My Poco X3 Pro is no longer working and I'm trying to decide which errors displayed by `dmesg` are hardware errors, because most are likely to be just expected software warnings.
