Hi all,
I just got my new Realme x50 Pro from cect-shop.com. its the chinese version and not the european version. i dont have a problem with the chinese version (RMX2071). I only have a problem
with some preinstalled chinese apps that i unfortunateley i cant delete. I also prefere the chinese version because of the two sim slots. the european version don't have two sim slots.
Can someone helpe out if i can change it to the european version or if its possible to delete those apps, so i have a complete phone in english and not in chinese.
I actually also would prefer to have the phone in german if this is somehow possible
i would be very thankfull if someone could help me.

Doesn't look hopeful mate. There are things to try to de-bloat it but people ave reported it runs slower. Just check out the thread.

Can't help you, I'm on an EU device and I just use swipe down to notifications. What about search bar at the bottom?

All I can suggest is changing the System Language. Over here on the UK / EU ROM, we have a very limited side panel. A lot worse than yours tbh.
I've attached ours. I would love an English equivalent of yours. But it just doesn't exist.

I'm in similar position, have teh chinese model for the dual sim. Yes is possible to do this and delete most of the pre-installed chinese apps (though be careful obviously).
I followed method outlined here https://forum.xda-developers.com/rea...-list-t4084795, some packages are different so I used an app called 'Package Names' from the Play Store to help identify which ones I wanted to remove.
Google assistant now working. Also google feed now comes up instead of the breeno feed thing.
Nearly feels like a european ROM, my only remaining niggle is how to get location tracking turned back on for google maps timeline.
I haven't noticed it feeling any slower at all.

I've succeeded to load RMX2076EU onto RMX2071.
The hack works only combining RMX2071_OTA_11 A.18 with RMX2076_OTA_11 A.20.

How did you do it? Did you just update your phone with RMX2071 A.18 to RMX2076 A.20 via TWRP or something? Or did you somehow combine those 2 ROMs into some kind of custom ROM?

Hi folks,
I just got this device because of the massive battery (a whooping 4850 mAh) and relatively efficient GPU. I like it so far, and have used Kingo Root on it. But I can't find any custom ROM's to flash, and the device is not listed anywhere (GSMArena, CyanogenMod, xda). Does anybody have more information about it? It would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue...
I have found the stock ROM (CMCC & CTCC versions V12.0.0.15 & V12.0.0.10 respectively) but am almost certain that installing these will leave me without Google Play.
My eBay app has already given up on me after 3 days (it now says "Unfortunately eBay has stopped") and a custom ROM is just the ticket.
If it is any help, this phone is also known as: T551TLC.
Any help out there?

I haven't got expertise to do that unfortunately, but I would like to learn how to do that. The seller had already pre-flashed gapps so I have no issue with that but:
1) There is no update option for Android on the ASUS stock rom (stuck on 5.1).
2) Flashing Cyanogenmod modifies the device in such way that it does not send tethering device information to the phone carrier. With Cyanogenmod 13 on my former Samsung I9505 I'm able to share unlimited data to other devices.
3) ASUS bloatware is unbearable. E.g. I get automatically made "slideshows" done without my permission, by an ASUS program that is impossible to uninstall.
4) The camera lags very badly.
There are other minor issues, bugs, etc that aren't fixed.

Question: The Cyanogenmod Flash- is this possible with the X005? I have not yet found a way...!

More info: I see that there is an "Etotalk Mod ROM" that when you buy this phone from them they pre-install. They say it then has full functionality... might contact them for more info!

It is open source, that means, it is free to the community at the android and cyanogenmod licenses. In conclusion, yes, you may share it legally.

Have you tried installing on the TWRP or CM recovery, from the SD Card? If that doesn't work, maybe you can try using Odin on Windows, using a USB cable.
Also, how different is this rom from the stocks that you've found? Do you know? Let me know after you test it, and if it's good maybe you could upload it and post the link.

Use fastboot command, just like RAZERZDAHACKER posted. there are tutorials online.

It is strange, there is european version in our country as i know, but if i choose my country and "Smart Phones" category in the support page i cant find my device's page. However, it is right for some european countries... For "Spain" it is fine, for example.

The update worked ok. I think it was something important since it had a size of 2 GB.

I do not remember.....OTA update Works...
Maybe not wipe all data. I found this:

i was able to fully compile the rom. though current set back is the compiled zip is like a patch to official rom and doesnt do a clean install. am working out on how to fix this. expect the rom soon, even if it will be buggy

Excellent news, thank you, I have the model T230 (I think it is the same, processor, ram, etc, the only difference is 3g) the roms of t231 work well in the t230, if you want a beta tester, I could help you

My rom is still stuck on patching system file unconditionally, it does clear system but not installing. Anyone can helprovide me figure out where am wrong,

Try patching system/core hardware/libhardware bjt if it doesnt boot, native patches should do the trick ??

Since i saw that post in the morning (my local time) had busy day, so i didn't have time to research about chipset issue, what we can do, anyone with fine details of how the stuffs should relate, or how the architecture if the chipset works, can link me up so that we can find a way of getting cm on this device. Am having some ample time to do this work since my studdies are yet to commence (tbh, its because of lectures strike in kenya and bieng in public uni of course means directly affected )
Ill try your suggestions.

I mean to ask if there is anything special about this rom (some feature or something) which is not present in other pie roms.

I'm on it right now, everything seems to be working so far and it's running pretty smooth. This is safe to flash, trust me.

There is a couple extra features but nothing too special. I am not sure if the developer will add more in future updates.

Does it have pixellauncher with Android Pie from pixel 2 gesture ? (I mean like in pixel experience pie ROM when you swipe up it show Google search bar + some apps) or its aosp gesture without the Google search bar when you swipe up ..
This was gathered from the telegram group. I expect you have obtained proper permissions from rom dev.

Did it! So far so good. I'm going to see if root will work, tested calling and messaging and stuff and it seems fine. I didn't wipe either.

There is a new partition that appears to be part of the early boot process so Magisk will need some work. Mr. Wu is looking at it, but it may be trial and error on his part until source is released.
I wonder if this still works?

Is it just me or is Android getting boring. I see no innovation is this new release. I'm starting to think I have been here too long. Apple will never be an option for me. I will definitely live with the incremental iterations of Android but am loosing my passion. Show me something earth shattering like you once did.

Just installed the OTA about an hour ago. So far all of my apps are working ok, including Chase and Capital One. Google Pay I have not tried using yet at a machine.
The only thing that I am missing is the voicemail tab on the dialer. Also my galaxy watch is a bit sluggish right now, but that may be due to low battery.

I flashed the OTA without wiping and it did not delete any data.

Remove -w from the fastboot flash all batch file
*Sorry read that wrong initially. I don't think the ota file wipes automatically but I can't say for sure.
Root may take awhile, Google removed /sbin from the root directory. That is causing him issues. No TWRP isn't helping either.
Has anybody on Google Fi that uses an e-SIM flashed the preview yet? I haven't been able to get my service to fully activate since flashing. Calls and texts can still be made, but the fun things like RCS and VPN can't be used until the service is activated.
Just curious. I know it's a preview and things will be broken. I'm more looking for corroborating information and if anybody's discovered a workaround.
Download Fialer from PlayStore and do a Sim Switch or mess with the cellular info in fialer other than that mine is up a running fine which I use Hangouts for msg.

Yesterday I got just under 16 hours with just under 6 of screen on time. That was with Bluetooth on and listening to podcasts all day.

Hi All, Sorry for the Newbie question... I have a Pixel 2 and 3 as a play around phone as I use an S10 for my work/main line...
So, would love to give 11 a go... Last time I just received an OTA to join and I see OTA being mentioned ... So just curious do we have to flash this first beta manually or can we get access via an OTA?

You have to flash this one manually. They don't release the sign up until beta 1. This is still in developer preview stage, though extremely stable.
