My situation is having a HTC U11 Dual Sim with ViperU 2.3.0 rom for more than a year, suddenly the phone lost all SIM signal and wifi signal.
*#06# does not show any IMEI number, also Settings shows the IMEI is "UNKNOWN".
Download mode and fastboot could able to show the IMEI number normally, so this might not be a hardware problem.
I have try the actions below, but none of them helps
- Restore previous TWRP backup
- Reinstall ViperU rom zip through TWRP
- Do a wipe to restore factory settings
- RUU with bootloader unlock
- RUU with bootloader re-lock
Now I am stuck at the official HTC rom setup page with bootloader re-lock, the setup wizard cannot continue because lack of internet connection (cannot recognize both SIM and unable to search any WIFI).
Could anyone knows solution for the baseband unknown problem.

So I have a Sprint HTC One A9 which I gave to a 'repairer' to unlock for GSM. Basically he failed to do it I ended up with a soft-bricked phone.
Thankfully device is S-off and bootloader unlocked. I have no idea what software version it was on before giving to him and I tried many RUUs and ROM flashes through TWRP which all caused bootloops. So far I have tried the 1.57 RUU/ROM, 1.10 RUU/ROM.
The only one that seemed to have allowed a full boot was 1.09 (2PQ9IMG) which I flashed through bootloader. Only problem is this also auto reboots after about 3 mins. There is also no information on IMEI, MEID or baseband so no cellular reception.
When I do 'fastboot oem getvar all' I do see IMEI and baseband like below.
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_hiaewhl
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) imei: 99000XXXXXXXXX
(bootloader) version-main: 1.09.651.1
(bootloader) boot-mode: download

(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 2PQ930000
(bootloader) cid: 11111111
Someone please help me to restore phone to full working condition.

Flash the latest RUU, and then try flashing the radio separately.

Forgive the question but you mean the radio from the ruu? And where can I find that?
I am an User of HTC One ME Dual Sim (India) Version. Once I have loaded TWRP and Rooted my Phone, but accidentally erased every partition (System, data, cache, delvik cache). After breaking my head in different forums, could not locate any proper solution. Ultimately, could locate a very old TWRP backup in one of my USB Drive and restored the system.
Now I have decided to share my files in this forum to help all those friends, who are still could not find any solution to restore their system. Hope this will save lives.
My situation was ::
Fastboot works but adb does not recognise the phone (in recovery as well as download mode)
after giving fastboot command, I get :
fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_hima_ace_ml_dtul
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) imei: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi, I've looked far and wide for any type of solution to this but i can't seem to find any.
I updated my phone, it was an OTA, and it has sent it into a bootloop.
Somehow it updated, restarted, came up with android is optimizing, completed that, restarted again but never actually started up, just looped.
I don't think i can send it back because i had a dodgy screen repair done but I've tried factory reset, cleared cache (tried these multiple times, don't know what made me think they'd work after a first failed attempt) and i've even tried using the unlocked/developer RUU's because i cant find one for my phone. (H3G__001)
The phone is S-ON, Bootloader locked, stock recovery etc. It won't allow me to unlock bootloader due to the new "Allow OEM unlocking" not being selected in developer options, neither is USB debugging.
I don't know if any of this will be any help:
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_pmeuhl
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) max-download-size: 1579200000
(bootloader) serialno: FA64TBN03623
(bootloader) current-slot:
(bootloader) imei: REMOVED
(bootloader) version-main: 2.41.771.3
(bootloader) boot-mode: download
(bootloader) version-baseband: [email protected]
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 2PS620000
(bootloader) cid: H3G__001
Thank you in advance for any help!

Problem with installing RUU. Error number 19.
I would be happy for every Help....
[EDIT: SIM-Provider is 1&1]
You're trying to flash the wrong firmware. You need to flash the full stock ruu .zip of the same version firmware 2.33.401.x from the external sdcard.
I don't know if an RUU exists.
I have the right one (at least that's the same version of the one listed in bootloader) from the spreadsheet. For the DUGL. But this time it says
Error14
From which spreadsheet? What's the file name?.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72425204&postcount=2
Number 35 at Firmware
I believe from your mid you have the dual sim version?.
Yes that's right
Number 51. https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673956719939818418
Make a note of the md5 on the download page and check it whenever the file finishes downloading.
Use external sd card method.
As far as I can tell that should be the official firmware in full.
now I have the original rom again.but LTE is still not working :/
Are you sure?. Can you get 4g or 4g+?
It works now . My provider blocked the LTE because of an error in their system...i got 70gb not 7gb for that I payed... That's kinda embarrassing
But thank you for all your help now I know which ruu I have to download if some error happen again
