So this is my first post, and I have a problem with bricked HOX.
I tried to put custom ROM, ViperX, with CWM (previously I unlocked bootloader and flashed with custom CWM recovery.img). After installation, I flashed with boot.img, but I couldn't boot. Now I have bricked, unlocked, HOX. I tried to unbrick with ruu, but ruu warned that my bootloader version is not good for ruu.
So how can I unbrick my HOX, is there ruu version for my HOX (and is there any way to unbrick it at all?)?
My HOX's specs:
CID: HTC__032
version-main: 3.20.401.3
HBOOT-1.39.0000
RADIO-5.1204.162A.29
Please help, and sorry for my bad English. I hope you understood

HTC ONE 802W Bricked
Hallo, I have the htc one 802W dual sim variant. It has HTC_802w_CWM_recovery_6.0.3.3_PhilZ_Touch_5 recovery & s-off, and the european rom version. PN07IMG_M7C_DUG_JB_50_S1_HTC_Europe_2.19.401.1_Radio_1237.21.28.0627_release_326125
My problem begins when I try to change model ID to flash the new 4.4.2 version, in the process it bricks and now is black screen, no led charging, but PC recognizes it when I connect by USB cable.

Unfortunately you're in the wrong device forum, this is the HTC One XL form. You need to ask in your own device forum, the people there are experienced with your phone and will be able to help you.

Hi I just wanted to try the Maximus HD 10 and thought I did what was expected but something went wrong and now the phone is totally blank.. I am new to this but read alot in this forum before I began and I am used to computers etc. so I gave it a shot.. This is what I did:
Installed the Windroid Universal Toolkit to unlock the phone, and that went well. Then followed the instructions to install the Maximus HD 10 which also went well until I had to install the newer firmware.. From here things went really bad and after a lot of different wipes and things that I don't know anything about I am stuck with an useless device
I have searched all forums (I think) but with no luck, so if anyone know what I should do I would be really thankful.
And no.. I do not have a backup!!

Fastboot can communicate with the phone but ADB devices will not find the phone.
If I reboot the phone I only see the HTC start screen for a few seconds and then nothing.. It has TWRP on it which I can enter.
Please help me!
If you have TWRP you might download any ROM and flash it but since you're S-On don't forget to flash kernel in fastboot mode after you flash the ROM.
Kernel is the boot.img file on the root of the ROM zip. Extract it to PC and while in fastboot issue the "fastboot flash boot boot.img" command.
For changing firmware you need S-Off which you don't have. To gain it you should flash first a close to stock ROM (like Viper for ex) then try to gain S-Off with rumrunner or another method. Then you can flash firmwares

Don't forget to do that after every ROM flash. If you'll get S-Off, you won't need to do that anymore

So I have a Sprint HTC One A9 which I gave to a 'repairer' to unlock for GSM. Basically he failed to do it I ended up with a soft-bricked phone.
Thankfully device is S-off and bootloader unlocked. I have no idea what software version it was on before giving to him and I tried many RUUs and ROM flashes through TWRP which all caused bootloops. So far I have tried the 1.57 RUU/ROM, 1.10 RUU/ROM.
The only one that seemed to have allowed a full boot was 1.09 (2PQ9IMG) which I flashed through bootloader. Only problem is this also auto reboots after about 3 mins. There is also no information on IMEI, MEID or baseband so no cellular reception.
When I do 'fastboot oem getvar all' I do see IMEI and baseband like below.
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_hiaewhl
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) imei: 99000XXXXXXXXX
(bootloader) version-main: 1.09.651.1

(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 2PQ930000
(bootloader) cid: 11111111
Someone please help me to restore phone to full working condition.

Flash the latest RUU, and then try flashing the radio separately.

Forgive the question but you mean the radio from the ruu? And where can I find that?
Hi, I've looked far and wide for any type of solution to this but i can't seem to find any.
I updated my phone, it was an OTA, and it has sent it into a bootloop.
Somehow it updated, restarted, came up with android is optimizing, completed that, restarted again but never actually started up, just looped.
I don't think i can send it back because i had a dodgy screen repair done but I've tried factory reset, cleared cache (tried these multiple times, don't know what made me think they'd work after a first failed attempt) and i've even tried using the unlocked/developer RUU's because i cant find one for my phone. (H3G__001)
The phone is S-ON, Bootloader locked, stock recovery etc. It won't allow me to unlock bootloader due to the new "Allow OEM unlocking" not being selected in developer options, neither is USB debugging.
I don't know if any of this will be any help:

Flash RUU with SD Card method
Hello,
I had exactly the same problem. You have to use SD Card, connect it to PC (or put in other smartphone), download the Rom Update Utility file from thread called [COLLECTION] HTC U11 - RUU/Firmware etc.
IT'S IMPORTANT TO DOWNLOAD NEWER (OR THE SAME) VERSION FOR YOUR CID. Name your file: 2PZCIMG.zip (remember if it isn't named correctly, it won't work, check the name twice) and push it to root directory of Your SD card. If it's done just put SD into your U11 and enter bootloader mode (hold power + vol down for few seconds). After that it will ask if you want to flash this firmware. Accept and wait till the end. If anything goes wrong write to me. If it worked write the answer too - maybe somebody will lock bootloader before flashing stock recovery too ?
hello ,
thank you for the answer , but when i mount the sd card and reboot in fastboot its take 3 seconds and say SD NOT MOUNTED

you have to reboot to download mode, with the zip on your sdcard.
also check the file on your sdcard that it doesn't have two zip extensions on it like .zip.zip
thank you brothers but i still got this

The file you arr trying to flash is an update, not the full RUU.
Try to find the matching full RUU for your device : correct CID, and single or dual sim.
Ok, thanks. But I can't find an .exe download for OTA_OCEAN_WHL_P90_SENSE10GP_MR_NA_Gen_Unlock_3.37.617.1_R2-2.42.617.7_release_54543136oqoi5kod349uca.zip unfortunately.
Single sim, usa unlocked. :|
Edit - I got here by flashing "HTC U11 Google pixel-experience", which doesn't even work on verizon so I just want a backup phone again that works.
FML for not doing a full nandroid first /facepalm
