Hi everybody, I began my OnePlus experience when my best friend let me use one OnePlus 5, then I get one, then I get the OnePlus 5T, then I get the OnePlus 6, the another OnePlus 6 with more storage and it is my last OnePlus, and it will be my last OnePlus experience if I don't fix this trouble.
I was running on my first OnePlus 6 Android 7, the one update to 8, and the last update is to android 10.
I was waching than 64gB was to much storage to me so I decided take another OnePlus 6 this time in 128gB storage.
When I started that another OnePlus 6 saw it was running android 8 and I took it yo update OTA android 10.
The system told there wasn't updates.
I told it to IT Services and the answer was: Please download the ONEPLUS A6000_22_180810 update from this page ... .... and copy to the root directory on the phone, then go to local update on Settings. The system update failed.
I told it to the IT Services and the answer was: your IMEI is out of warranty.
What the **** are you telling me? Out of warranty if I have bought this phone in a local Store.
The real trouble is that phone works great on Android 8, and it's impossible to update to the latest update in official way so I chose to root the phone, so I instal TeamWin recovery and try to flash the ONEPLUS A6000_22_180810 from it:
FAILED AGAIN
Can someone tell me what it happening?
Thanks
Hi,
Have recently updated to Android 11 via Stable android update and I am looking for any way to go back to Android 10 via any means necessary. Have already made backups, can not root and unlock bootloader.
Any help is appreciated.
Same!
Yeah. I want to downgrade to a10 too. Is there a way to do it with or without losing data?
You need to, search for the roll back zip on the oneplus Community site. No way to save data,
I have tried everything. I'm trying to go back to Android 11 after the recent upgrade from T-mobile to Android 12. Yes, I renamed the files to .apk and .zip. Yes, I moved it into my internal storage, yet my stupid phone just doesn't find it. I've done this like 10 times. No I'm not downloading the wrong version. I even tried downloading the one for OnePlus 9 pro (NA) It won't recognize the file, and I'm not sure why. I'm not going to use this new horrible update that they forced on my phone please help me downgrade from this trash. Here is the link that shows you how to do so. I've followed the steps exactly. I've also attached screenshots. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please help. Thanks
Personally would just use this.

It takes less than 5 minutes to flash. Once done, download https://android.googleapis.com/packages/ota-api/package/580d47a7dde5862a306c07ff939cc4fe1520860f.zip and move to root of storage, use local upgrade tool in settings to get back to latest OOS 11 release.
I just did this same process to get off of a custom ROM today and it couldn't have been easier other than the fact I had to restore my backup and set my apps up again. It's good to do that every so often though, keeps the device running well cleaning out all the clutter.
Thanks, but any chance you know of a video tutorial on this? I really don't know what I'm doing and I'm already stuck
I just realized you mentioned T-Mobile up there. You actually need the T-Mobile MSM Tool if it's the T-Mobile version.
I don't know that there is a downgrade option available for the T-Mobile firmware, the MSM Tool may be your only option. This is why I don't buy phones from the carriers anymore.
It is going to put you on a pretty old firmware and I'm not sure if the zip files are available for the T-Mobile variant.
There is a detailed post on how to use this on the OnePlus forums. I just checked and the MSM Tool for the T-Mobile OnePlus 9 is on the OnePlus Community Server that's linked.

Hi all,
I have a weird issue - I have updated my OnePlus 9 EU last year over Oxygen Updater, but managed to install India-only update on EU phone and now in settings it shows 2113_11_C.60.
After scouring internet I found that C.60 was India only update.
Now, I haven't received a single auto update since May 2022.
I have tried downloading incrimental updates to C.62 both for 2113 and 2111, but neither local upgrade nor special oneplus app was not able to update.
Also tried full install of C.62, no success.
Even tried full upgrade to latest EU build LE2113_11_F.75 - same result..
The local upgrade through settings constantly shows "verification failed" no matter what file I choose.
OP's System Update app would fail after showing system updating for a minute, with 0% progress.
As I understand, I somehow managed to install Indian version of incrimental update on EU phone, but now I am stuck on it.
What are other reinstall options on OnePlus 9?
Can I somehow force install if I connect over PC?
Many thanks for the help!
EDIT:
Forgot to attach screenshots...

Find the one compatible for your device whatever stock would be and run the msm recovery tool. This will get you back where you need to be to be able to update to latest software.
Otherwise you can try editing the file payload_properties.txt inside the update zip and changing oplus_update_engine_verify_disable to 1. This way your phone should skip the verification process entirely. Keep in mind that this could still result into bricking your phone because of this unintended update path but since the alternative would be using MSM tool why not trying anyway.
