I found my old Samsung A3 again after it being stored in the closet. I want to factory reset it, but it is asking for my Samsung account. That’s anyone have an idea if flashing the ROM via Odin and such will remove the Samsung Account? I do not use the email address anymore and I cannot remember the password. I also lost the Sim card that is registered on that account because here in the Philippines we can change number anytime. I cannot contact Samsung helpdesk because I used a different name for it. I was still a stupid teenager when I had the phone. Thank you to whoever can help me with this problem.

The phone is not rooted by the way.

Do a Google search for:
"Bypass FRP Galaxy A3"
Or
If you know what android version is on the device, do a Google search for:
"Bypass FRP (your android version)"
There should be several YouTube videos in your search results and there should be a lot of links to guide tutorials. Find one that applies to your device or at least applies to the same android version that you have, try many different ones, you should eventually find something that works.
If any of them require flashing anything on the device to solve this, skip those for now and don't try them until you have exhausted all the other "non-flash" solutions. If none of the "non-flash" solutions work, then you can try the methods that require flashing, but, you will only be able to use flashing methods that apply to your specific model number.

Thank you! I will try to search for it! My rooting skills have been rusty lately and my last root/flash experience was 4 years ago. Security wasn't tight back then.

I'm a newbie, semi technical. My wie has a Samsung Galaxy S4 GPE. It automatically updated three times when I turned it on, and left her with Android kitkat. It updated without asking me. Now she has a phone with no access to her SD card. This is a problem. I read elsewhere there is no way to go back to an earlier edition of Android. I have read online that android 5.0 fixes this issue, but I'd like to confirm that before I try and update. I've also read those reviewers articles form Dec 2014 that breathlessly say that Android 5 is here, its here its finally here. Other articles say its not. I can't find anything from Android or Google or Samsung that says anything either way. So I'm totally confused.
I've tried to update the software on the phone but it says the software is up to date. I tried contacting t-mobile, but found nothing. Tmobile customer service said they had nothing to do with the upgrade. I cannot find a way to contact either google or android by email, and samsung did not answer my email. (I found no way to contact them by phone). I did download a zip file to my computer that supposedly has Android 5.0, but I don't know how to make the update. I have not found any instructions anywhere on the internet. Is it safe if I learn how to install it? Is there an official version of Android that will work on this phone? Where does it come from- Samsung, Android or Google?
Did those three updates come from Android, Samsung, Google or her carrier (T-mobile)? Can someone here a) explain to me who pushes android updates to a phone? and b) point me to where I can learn how to update her phone? Or c) tell me if (and) how I can go back to the original android version? (online forums are split on the issues: yes you can, no you can't; do it by a factory reset, no that cannot possibly work, etc etc.
The phone is still under warranty and I don't want to root it. (I don't know how anyway.) It already was unlocked when she bought it.
If anyone here can offer any help, I would appreciate it .
Thanks.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. If you have a gpe version of the $4 you should be able to flash the firmware using Odin. You can find the stock Rom at Samsung-updates.com or sammobile.com. For further information see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4. The gpe is the i9505

Hi,
i'm posting here, because I don't know what exactly my problem is.
I factory reseted an android smartphone (samsung galaxy core prime) through the recovery menu.
The bad thing is that the device was synced with a google account, that hasn't been deleted before the reset.
When I want to setup the clean phone, i get asked to login with the previous google account. But when I do, it says the account is the wrong one.
EDIT: I'm pretty sure its the correct one, because I can see the device under "Recently used Devices" in my google account. But i can't delete it there... probably because the account is not set up on the phone.
Now my question: Could i solve the problem if I flash a custom ROM on the phone? I already tried it with a Stock ROM for T-Mobile, but it didn't change anything.
Hope you guys can help me out!
BR
You won't be able to even flash a custom recovery on a FRP locked device.
There's ways to get around FRP lock, check out rootjunky.

Long story short. I'm helping out my colleague who got her phone locked. We ended up factory resetting it, but she's not the most technical, so it seems that every time she's gotten a new phone over the years, she's just created a new gmail-account and forgotten about it.
Then FRP kicked in. Shouldn't be a problem if she just knew her account.. We've found out that she's got at least three accounts, but none of them works. I figure she's got another one, but not one that she could remember. So I have to bypass FRP somehow, otherwise this phone will be an expensive useless brick. :/
It seems it's on build MMB29K.G930FXXU1BPJE.
It's recently updated, so any bypass I've found seems to have been patched. It's usually a good thing, but in this case (she can blame herself, though..) it's a bit sad.
I've tried to downgrade using Odin, but for some reason it fails. I've haven't been able to enable OEM-unlock or enable Developer options.
Any help is appreciated!
She should have some record of which account she used, creating a Google account should ask for a backup email address for recovery, so one of her accounts should have the details of the one she's forgotten
Otherwise unfortunately this could just as easily be "I stole a phone and want to know how to bypass FRP"
Octoplus box and your problem is solved.

I know. At first she couldn't remember the gmail, and after we checked against her phone no. we found two accounts. Checking against her work e-mail, I found another. Unfortunately it was none of them.

All I can suggest is look for tutorials on YT for bypassing FRP for whichever security update that phone was on / downgrade with ODIN to one that has a tutorial (Try leaving out the BL part of the flash if it's failing, and use CSC, not HOME_CSC)
You should definitely be able to downgrade a G930F, I just did with mine from 7.0 Nougat back to 6.0.1 using ODIN 3.12.3
You don't need OEM Unlock or Dev Options / USB debugging for flashing stock with ODIN

Thanks, I'll give it another try later tonight.
Following this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRUp09bXnDA&feature=youtu.be) I didn't have to downgrade anything other than the account manager on 6.0.1 through an .apk. That way I could bypass FRP on the October security patch. She was so happy, and I told her to keep it to this one @gmail-account.
So, problem solved! Thanks for the replies!
Nice one :good:
Hello everyone,
I bought a Samsung S7 a while ago and performed the setup based on my gmail account.
But now I do not know the password anymore and when I perform a hard reset I have to log in with that account, so you now understand what my problem is.
How can I solve this because the store does nothing and via google it does not work.
Please need help.
Is there a option if everything is gone to diable frp lock?
Ideally you should have had a recovery email or alternative method to get your gmail back. FRP is pretty tough.
You can try flash an older firmware version and then use an older FRP bypass exploit, the latest Android builds basically have no exploits left.
You may have to try multiple difference older firmwares before one lets you flash, but you may find none will flash.
Please accept my sincere apologies if my question has been answered before on the forums, I have tried google and searching the forums but can't find the answer.
My handset is a Samsung Galaxy s9+ which has never been rooted was on stock Android 9. I enabled native call recording using a THL sim which set my active CSC to THL/XEU/EVR. The Android 10 rollout for THL has not happened yet so I decided to dirty flash Android 10 using ODIN.
The flash has broken some apps which I know can be fixed by performing a factory reset, but before I proceed I wanted to know if my biometrics will be backed up to my Google Account? Basically some of my apps use fingerprint authentication would these be saved and restored or would I have to setup fingerprint authentication again?
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
