Hi there. I'm glad to communicate that our little device finally has received the expected Android 10 update. The rolling out started in Brazil one week ago.
Currently, the Android 10 update compilation build number for moto g7 play is the QPY30.52-22, and is not available in lollinet, I suppose they rolled via OTA.
The fully name of the file is CHANNEL_QPY30.52-22_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip and can be downloaded from Motorola Cloud Servers:

For clarity, my device is a moto g7 play xt1952-2 dual sim variant from Colombia attached to retail channel.
I decided to upgrade yesterday at night, and the procedure was very fast (in less than an hour) without problems.
So, it's my pleasure share my review from this new version
Pros:
Moto gestures and moto actions are the same and didn't changed at all
All my settings and configurations are untouched and working like a charm. There was no need to make a previous backup
In general, the device keeps the good battery life, same ability processing tasks loaded in ram and the old reliable processor speed. Also, the RIL (Radio Interface Layer), 4G, Wifi, Bluetooth and the signal quality are the same used to be before change.
Of course, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 64 bits processor, but we are running the new Android 10 in 32 bits. Pokemon Go is working fine (at least while Niantic reconsider the new standards for Google ARCore in 64 bits devices).
The boot animation is a little bit longer than Android 9 but is not a great trouble.
The animations remains the same we used to see in Android 9.
No lags, no unexpected stopping / autoclosing processes, no shutdown issues (for now)
Now, we can choose styles (colors, text typhography, app icon styles) and change the cyan color in the user interface. Also, the dark theme is fully enabled in all the UI.
The notifications just have two options: watch them or discard them. There's no chance to the old Android 9 dismiss half way. We have discrete notifications now as a replament.
Currently, the screen capture menu is very tiny but is really complete and useful just as Android 9 used to be
Unlocking options like fingerprint and pin code remains untouched.
All the previously installed applications works like a charm, except Camera and Google photos (they will be explained in the Cons)
The icons in Android status bar (in the upper right corner) looks a little rare (specifically the Data-4G signal, Wi-Fi signal and battery remaining capacity. They look almost as the previously icons in Android 9 and is not a problem their new look.

Cons:
The new clock gadget doesn't show anymore the battery remaining percentage in the main home screen. It only shows the battery duration when the phone is locked.
When using Google photos app, the deleting operation is slower than expected.
Deleted or deleted photos remains as gray squares for a few seconds and the desired files finally gets deleted, but this does not occur immediately like in the past.
Note: This can be atributed to the microSD speed used as my external storage, but the same happens with downloaded files in the internal storage.
So, the issue is not in the storage and clearly is not in the permissions, because moto Camera and Google photos have external SD writing permissions granted.
Google photos and moto Camera are not synchronized, I mean they don't cooperate because the ability to delete photos from moto Camera is slower than usual and the photo looks impossible to delete.
Finally, the deleted photos remains showing and you must insist even six or seven times for delete one single file at time
Moto camera vibrates when you take a photo and that behavior is new for me
The up and down volume rockers take photos and doesn't change the zoom as used to be and cannot be configured.
There's no way to delete and check several photos at same time from moto Camera and if you can get it, the deleting operation takes a lot of time.
Deleting cache, app data from both applications helped a lot but didn't solve the difficulty
Maybe this discordination between moto Camera and Google photos can be related to the old Android 9 settings transfered to the new OS, and of course, incompatible versions.
A further update for moto Camera and/or Google photos would solve the issue

Rather use android 10 GSI with twrp and magisk functioning..... Just needed android 10 for a moto G7 play android 10 modem which fixed my data issues

Honestly, i'm not interested in Root anymore. Its a delightful pleasure retail stock roms does not incluide carrier trash.

Nice @PoochyX, thanks for the link. I've been running the April 1 Retail Android 10 build on my Boost Mobile CHANNEL (including modem firmware) and the only problem I've had is with domestic roaming. I'm guessing the Retail modem firmware is devoid of a PRL provisioning service. I'm trying to find a workaround, but where I rarely need roaming it is no big issue.

Hey @PoochyX, I noticed that the firmware package you linked does not contain a partition index updater (gpt.bin) or bootloader partition updates (bootloader.img). Do you confirm that this firmware package functions okay without these update files? Thanks.

Yeah that's the one that spaceminer linked I noticed it also didn't have bootloader nor index updater so I couldn't update with this modem I ended up updating the modem from the firmware that you had linked.... In your case u should be fine cuss u just be updating the firmware with this, I believe spaceminer linked an Ota that's why I think it doesn't have bootloader and partition update index but only @Spaceminer could tell us since he uploaded the firmware

i believe this rom is not released in india but in Philippines or indonesia. somehow someone leaked the link and spreaded over to internet and here we are enjoying this update.
some say this nougat update is only available at oppo service center but not in oppo site nor ota update. so idk 100%.
in about phone>regulation> i see only Philippines,thailand,indonesia,europe country names but no india. if u are in marshmallow rom can you confirm me what u see in that menu?

thanks mate! im trying to post as many as useful posts about our powerful device f3 plus.
as u r having 6gb variant u might see normal performance like before but as a 4gb user i saw alot of faster performance in this update and tooo smooth
suggestion:
some apps doesnt support split screen in this update like almost all system apps and facebook app etc...
>enable dev options and check the Force resizable option at bottom of the list and then you can disable dev options
clone app and gaming acceleration features not supporting many apps/games
only rare stupid apps n games are supporting but most of the popular apps doesnt support. useless features
The notification logo in the notification bar is removed. I really liked that logo cause it really helps to notify whenever i got a message or something is updating. But overall the update is pretty good.

But though there seems to be a problem with the music player (may a kernel problem, idk) as it is not showing any album arts for the mp3 files and I know that my mp3 files have been tagged correctly. Now I think Android 10 for Nokia 9 is stable enough and will be released to public soon, so I think it's time to post it here.
If HMD will push Android 10 officially, you can install it under ADB sideload easily and link will be posted here.

It will be updated from: AOP-427F-0-00WW-B01, which is released October 2019 Security Update.
Let me tell you how to verify:
1. Dial *#*#227#*#* to check current Version. If older than AOP-427F-0-00WW-B01, update to 427F before proceed.
FYI, 427F is October 2019 Security Update.
Alternately, you can use command "fastboot oem getversions" under fastboot mode / Download mode to check current firmware version.
2. Install AOP-513A-0-00WW-B01-427F-0-00WW-B01-update.zip with adb sideload under recovery.
3. Reboot to normal OS and recovery again - it's not over yet.
4. Install AOP-513B-0-00WW-B01-513A-0-00WW-B01-update.zip with adb sideload under recovery.
5. Reboot your phone.
That's it.
If Android 10 official update pushed publicly, link will be updated here.
To root the phone, you may want to use Magisk 20 released October 12th, 2019 or newer. I've uploaded stock boot image here if you have unlocked bootloader. There's no "Flashing is not rooted for fused device" issue under 5xxx build.

Just installed on my Nokia 9 TA-1087, works perfectly. No bugs found so far. So far so good. Animations really smooth, camera launch is significantly faster than Android 9. The dark mode is not fully dark but that was expected. Overall excellent experience. Definitely worth the update.

Google pay works but can't add new cards as it says it's been rooted or altered in some way. I know it's not rooted but will we not get the proper update now as a result of doing this?
I installed the internal build 10 update on my TA-1082 (US) last night (about 20 hours ago) and it's been working/behaving extremely stable.
Feels noticeably faster than 9.

I installed it a while ago and it seems pretty stable and fast, the face recognition doesn't work as well tho. Also its a shame when you switch the dark theme on it doesn't make the boot dark as well, like the pixels. Everything else is working great! Thanks for sharing the build :good:
PS: I didn't have to root or anything, I just downloaded the two builds and updated using the stock recovery via adb sideload, it works on a non rooted fully stock phone, which is awesome
Any idea if there is possibility to revert back to stock ROM? I found only nb0 firmwares that seems is not able to flash to Nokia 9 with Nokia flash took.

Hello,
my model is TA-1082, single sim. I purchased it in Dubai... but when I flash for the OTA upgrade, it shows the message as above. Why?

Feedback of issues I have gotten so far:
- Phone freezes when playing videos.
- Network connectivity drops to nothing randomly.
- Google Pay doesn't work without internet.
Feedback on improvements:
- Phone faster and more responsive.
- Better battery life after a week.
Is anyone having these issues or is it just me, and also how do we return to stock rom in case something goes bad? I haven't unlocked the bootloader or rooted the phone so I'm unaware on how to do this just in case.

This has only been tested coming from ZUI_12.5.238 with locked bootloader.
I can't say if it works with unlocked bootloader or different version so try at your own risk.
Instructions:
1. Download file and put in the root of the tablet.
2. Rename "TB-J716F_CN_OPEN_USER_Q00209.3_R_ZUI_12.6.238_ST_210824_to_TB-J716F_CN_OPEN_USER_Q00209.3_R_ZUI_13.0.346_ST_211108.zip" to "update.zip"
3. Press the 3 dots in OTA window and select "Use the install package update"
4. Install and enjoy!

Cool. I'm currently on 12.6.238st and will try this.
Just be aware if you do this you will lose play store certification (for now) I presume Lenovo will pass this version to Google for certification eventually.
There is another report on here that they updated to the latest version of the play store and was recertified but i'm on the one from 18.11.21 and no certification (28.0.33-19).
Widevine L1 intact.
I've just done the update on the first post. Google play now doesn't say "not certified" it doesn't say anything. However Netflix does not show up. I'm pretty sure before the update it said certified and if you searched for netflix it would show up.

The download will likely be in downloads on your internal storage. Using a file explorer rename it to "update" then move it to the base folder (the one that contains all other file folders).
Can anyone please upload the files to a google drive or onedrive? I am unable to download it from mega as I have a free account and the size is too big. Thanks!

This has only been tested coming from ZUI_12.5.238 with locked bootloader.
I can't say if it works with unlocked bootloader or different version so try at your own risk.
Instructions:
1. Download file and put in the root of the tablet.
2. Rename "TB-J716F_CN_OPEN_USER_Q00209.3_R_ZUI_12.6.238_ST_210824_to_TB-J716F_CN_OPEN_USER_Q00209.3_R_ZUI_13.0.346_ST_211108.zip" to "update.zip"
3. Press the 3 dots in OTA window and select "Use the install package update"
4. Install and enjoy!

It may do eventually? I'm UK based and it hasn't so far. The manual update went fine.
I've updated to zui13 with no issues. Any idea on how we can sideload the Lenovo one on a non Lenovo Android phone? I want to mirror my smartphone to my tablet.

I think i was download the file and put it on the phone and do local update. But i won't recommend to do that because global software has alot of bugs and update rate is lower. Just install Gapps on CH rom should be better.

I have a chinese rom on my transformers edition 7 pro. I also have been wanting to manually update to the global rom with no success. I get a signature error when i try to do it manually. Does anyone know if theres a way to do this through recovery? Is anyone working on TWRP recovery?

Until now I don't have the possibility to update my device after rooting without risking of bricking my device ?
I got the chinese edition red magic 7 pro to update to global rom. I will be posting a tutorial in a new thread soon.

1. You need download a rom from nubia website for your phone. Example UN/EU...
2. Go to setting/system update/ three dot on right top and choose local update (you need turn off your wifi and mobile data) to choose local update
3. Choose rom you have downloaded and install
4. Now you have updated rom but lost of root, you need re root again by patched boot img of new rom(magisk) and flash it, and recalibrate fingerprint

Need help something updated on phone I believe it was Google play store or something Google related device showed reboot to complete update so I rebooted and it hasn't turned on since it just freezes on boot logo after boot animation and if left on device starts to get extremely hot device redmagic 7pro only 2-3days old haven't done anything to device actually was still trying to get sim card and service to work consistently

Its the same.
It is built by an unofficial maintainer named "moghn", they have been built rom based on Sjll's device tree since the end of 2021. And has successfully ported some sony features, such as creator mod, stock sony camera, sony sound, battery care, etc to their recent builds of Evolution X.
They have built Los 18.1, and Evolution X for android 12/12.1/13 and so on. However, since they didn't post on XDA, I would just mentioned such roms existed.

Edit: Forgot to mention, do not use the Dolby that come with the ROM, it will result in crack sound in speakers, and turn that off fix the issue. You need to flash a Dolby Magisk Module to make it work.
The creator mode needed to be re-enable after each reboot.

And still some bug like camera not work, no alarm, cellular or SMS not work.

Oh well, it is definitely not that case. It is NOT a GSI or any kind........as it is not based on the Sony binary. As I stated, it is a rom based on Sjll's device tree. It works perfectly fine. Camera works (although mine didn't work, due to hardware damage issue), the post they showed with stock Sony camera is a presentation of a sucessfully port. And unless you are using the Japeness Ver, there is no way the SMS service don't work (In my photo there is no any is because I didn't insert one). The only problem I have met is that the format of SD card is only support FAT32.

Mind few things:
1. The link will expired if it meet the view capacity, which set by the drive service provider.
2. You need an account to download that, which requires a Chinese mainland phone number.
3. You might need an 'excellent' (I can't really know how to define that) network to download it. Because (1) if you didn't download it within a fixed time, the download will be cancelled. Possibly due to the a potential restrcition to non-China mainland IP. (2) In my case, the download speed is incredibly slow, so it is very likely you will encounter the first aforementioned situation.
4. It only supports Chinese language.
I personally recommended you reaches out the developer and get the link. But I can't share their profile link, because (1) Coolapk doesn't support that, (2) It is only accessible in the Coolapk APP. (3) The regesitration of Coolapk account also requires a phone number, with a quick check, it seems like it support non-China phone number.
If you want to try this way, then, after you download the Coolapk APP, just simply search their username 'moghn', and you can go to their profile page.

You have to flash the latest Sony stock firmware first, the rest of procedure is the same as the the rom with a payload bin file > https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-unofficial-pixelos-for-xperia-5-android-12.4355093/ (just in case, the steps are the same for this one)

@JaneValley, do you have the most recent build? It appears the one you posted is from 07-05-22 or 05-07-22 and is not the same as the 09-09-22 build you have posted a thread about.

That is Android 13, and it is an initial build and has some system interface bugs
And yes this is not the latest A12L build, but second to last, GApps included.
