Once you've gone Android 8 you can't fully to get back Android 6.
You can use TWRP to flash an Android 6 ROM, but this will only rollback the ROM. Bootloader will still be Android 8, and having a different bootloader to ROM can cause bugs and issues.
This is also assuming you're on Exynos. If your device is Snapdragon you're **** out of luck.

Use fastboot mode, unlock your bootloader and flash boot.img,recovery.img and system.img from your stock firmware

I want to buy a Xiaomi mi 10 ulra with global rom installed by tradingshenzen on it.
I guess they unlocked bootloader to do it.
My question is : if the bootloader has been locked again by them after installing the global rom.
Can i unlock it again ? Do i need to do the Xiaomi process again or just easy way ?

i believe the preflash validation errors that i see are related to trying to replace the bootloader with an older one.
Does this mean the device is locked on android 12 and can not revert?
The lineage rom does not replace the bootloader, you can revert with lenovo smart assistant recovery mode, and stock is android 11
some days ago i have downgraded to android 10 realmeUI1.0 C.15 from android 11 realmeUI 2.0 F.03 for unlocking bootloader.now i have unlocked bootloader amd didn't install any recovery and custom rom.still I'm in android 10 with unlocked bootloader.

now how can i update?is there any restriction to upgrade again for downgraded users?
