i have a s7 and it is android 8.
i want to it downgrade android 6.0
how can do it?
Once you've gone Android 8 you can't fully to get back Android 6.
You can use TWRP to flash an Android 6 ROM, but this will only rollback the ROM. Bootloader will still be Android 8, and having a different bootloader to ROM can cause bugs and issues.
This is also assuming you're on Exynos. If your device is Snapdragon you're **** out of luck.

You have to unlock your bootloader and flash TWRP from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/twrp-t3566563

first line of the thread is "OpenKirin presents unofficial TWRP for stock EMUI 5.x"
first line of the "rooting" sub-menu is "Make sure the device running stock EMUI 5.x boot.img"
... so yes, this will work on EMUI 5.0

Hello,
i updated to Oreo on my Honor 8, and i did a backup in HiSuite before.
Now i want to go back from Oreo to Android 7, did an recovery in HiSuite, and i am still in Oreo. So i think i just updates the data and not the Android verison.
How can i downgrade from Oreo back to Android 7 on my Honor 8?
I have no root or bootloader installed, everything is "untouched" on my phone.

You can use eRecovery... This time work and will flash you b407
I spent all day today trying to get back nougat or Oreo STOCK rom because I tried LOS beta 5 and cameras crash constantly. So if anyone can give me advice how to flash Oreo/nougat stock ROM. eRecovery only allows factory reset and reboot. Dload always comes back with error at around 5%... Is it possible to just flash stock system.IMG or something via fastboot?...

eRecovery, not the normal one. In eRecovery you can set your WiFi and download b407
Does anyone know how to downgrade from oreo?
Connect the phone to pc and in HiSuite look for updates. There will be an option to go back to B407. I didn't test it. Just saw the option was there.
Hello,
I have an old nokia 3 [ta-1032] and I want to downgrade it from android pie to . It is unrooted /factory stock software. What is the best method ? Is it possible to get the phone back to the original software that it launched with ( android 9 is too laggy ).

Use fastboot mode, unlock your bootloader and flash boot.img,recovery.img and system.img from your stock firmware
I have Huawei Y9 2019 with unlocked bootloader running Pixel Experince Plus 12.1 and I want to go back to EMUI 9.1 because I saw in some threads that I need to have EMUI 9.1 Firmware installed and kernel 4.9.148 to run Android 13 GSIs but I am worried because I heard that flashing EMUI will lead to relock bootloader (Whatever the method, official or unofficial). Is this true? if so, how can I go back to EMUI without relock bootloader?
Check wether phone is Project Treble ready - what is required to flash GSIs. BTW: Android 13 GSIs ( experimental ) are available since February 1, 2023.

My phone is already supports Project Treble, I just want to go back to EMUI 9.1 (Last time was EMUI 9.0 before bootloader unlock). They say EMUI 9.1 with kernel 4.9.148 required to run Android 13 GSIs, Android 12 GSIs and below work well without any issues on my phone.
